So Darktail is (as far as we know) dead, and the Kin are driven out for now, but I mean. We still have another 3 books of this arc left, which'll probably be spent figuring out where SkyClan will live and working out all the kinks, as well as everyone recovering from the mess the Kin made.
With Echosong dead, SkyClan has no medicine cat, and they can't really take the ShadowClan route of having a different clan train a new medicine cat since they don't really have many young cats any more (if I remember right). So who will be SkyClan's medicine cat?
I'm getting a sort of sneaking suspicion that Alderheart is going to go with SkyClan once they get their territory and camp all figured out. ThunderClan has 3 medicine cats at this point and it doesn't seem like any of them will be dying any time soon, and there were a few lines in Shattered Sky before a battle saying how Alderheart wished he could be doing more for his clan. Plus, he has SkyClan blood in him through being related to Tigerstar. What's everyones' predictions for the next couple books?

I had a similar opinion but I think violet twig will go to be with hawk and Alder would go to help the clan and stay with twig and violet.

It feels fishy that Darktail died so soon

Yeah. I have a theory that he isn't actually dead.

yeahhh i feel like darktail was too big of a villain to only last half an arc? like they spent so much time building him up to be horrible with hawkwing's journey and the past couple of books in avos, but he's already dead?
i feel like with the ambiguity of how he died and how they never found his body, he HAS to come back

I think twigpaw and violetpaw will go to live in skyclan and Alderheart will go with them to be their medicine cat.

same. I also think that they may stop writing warriors and take up that new "Bravelands" Series. which I don't think will do very well.

I also think that Alderheart would become SkyClan's next medicine cat. Leafpool and Jayfeather are way too attached to ThunderClan to ever leave it, and like you guys said, there are few young cats left in SkyClan for potential medicine cat training.
I feel like Twigpaw would join SkyClan, because during the last battle against Darktail she felt that Skyclan's fighting methods were amazing. She's also really attached to her father. Maybe she'll join SkyClan after she finishes her apprenticeship training (it'll be really nice if both Ivypool and Hawkwing get to train her).
However, I doubt that Violetpaw would join SkyClan. She doesn't seem to be as keen about the idea as Twigpaw is.

I have a feeling that Darktail survived.
What if Twigpaw will be the next medicine cat? She was rather interested in herbs and stuff but maybe because of her friendship with Alderheart.
Or maybe one of them will go to Skyclan. ThunderCkan doesn't need 3 medicine cats.....

I have been thinking the same with Alderheart. I mean out of all three Thunderclan medicine cats he was the only one they sent information about Skyclan. I don't agree with Violetpaw and Twigpaw. In my opinion Violetpaw will go with Skyclan and Twigpaw will stay with Thunderclan.
Reasoning being Violetpaw has no one left in Shadowclan. Nettletail is dead and so is her mentor. No one really liked her before hand and she is not so sure herself if she should stay with Shadowclan. Twigpaw even though loves her father has strong ties to Thunderclan. Sure maybe if Alderheart goes and Violetpaw as well she will but I don't really think so.

But remember that twigpaw also only had a few friends in thunderclan, one of them being Alderheart. If he ups and leaves, I thing twigpaw will end up going to skyclan too.

I believe that Darktail is still alive, or is in the Dark Forest. (But also I'm not sure non-afterlife believers would have their soul move there, but I think so because Leafstar's mother gave Leafstar a life in StarClan). I agree with you all, he's too big of a character to leave out. If he's in the Dark Forest, they'll have to try a new, completely unsuspected approach, because they can't disappoint us with the same thing as in the Last Hope.

I thought one of the ThunderClan med cats would temporarily go to SkyClan to train a new med cat, like Leafpool had done for ShadowClan. Maybe Violetpaw will go to SkyClan since she doesn't have friends or family in ShadowClan, and maybe Twigpaw will go if Alderheart goes to SkyClan at least temporarily.

I think Darktail is dead. With all the ambiguous deaths in the book, though, I feel like one cat has to actually be alive, and that Needletail has the most to contribute to the story.

I don't think so if Needletail was still alive she would have shown herself and took her punishment. I will say that if she is alive still it will interesting to see how she rounded out. Still I don't think she is alive.

lol I'm not sure about that combo since Violetpaw doesn't show any interest in any other cats right now. I do feel like he could show up again but not in any way you would think. I think the one she cat from Shadowclan that ratted out Violetpaw on the poppy seed plan is going to have his kits. I didn't comet on that in this Thread but I posted it in another one.

I think Needletail, Onestar, and Darktail actually find Atlantis at the bottom of the lake.

moonwisker I think Sleekwhisker could be pregnant, as well. Darktail didn't seem interested in her when we saw them together, but after she snitched on Violetpaw he probably realized that Sleekwhisker really was loyal to him and... yeah, let your imagination run wild. XD Or the kits were with another tom. *Shrugs*

Yes out all the cats in Shadowclan I think they would be the most likely becoming friends.

I hope so I mean they can't kill him and then have no medican cat again. I also think he will have a big role. I could be when Tigerheart has his story about leaving the clan.

Along the topic of medicine cats, I believe that Fidgitpaw and the other's captured by Twolegs will return to SkyClan, sort of like how Graystripe returned. Waspwhisker would not regain his role as deputy, and Hawkwing will remain. And now that Figitpaw is back as medicine cat, Alderheart will feel that he's not needed again, but they will convince him to stay.

Blizzardkit I really hope not. It was unrealistic with Graystripe doing it, but all those cats would just be unreasonable. They're pretty much confirmed dead at this point. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Why do they have to be dead they may have ended up on a no-kill shelter or like Graystripe was taken to a twoleg nest and is not alowed outside.
