Santiago fell to his knees , just so he could look the two in their eyes, pulling the two terrified children into a firm hug. Remi, trying to be a big, tough guy tried to squirm out of the pirates grasp before he realized that there was no point in doing so, and hugged him back until the door opened once again. Santiago pulled himself away from the children, eyeing the woman who was later introduced as Ferret with a small amount of interest. Of course, Tierra and Remi both walked up to her, putting on their best manners, and asked if they could pet the ferret too. They did all of this after asking Santiago if it was alright, and left the pirate to straighten himself up and eye Fletcher with a mix of wariness and thanks, happy to be able to be with his kids for the time being. "Ferret, eh?" He commented quietly, not really to anyone in particular.

( The Noble Dragon Flame rat sweetclover1 sɴᴏᴏᴢɪɴɢғᴇʟɪɴᴇ🌸) The Commodore looked over at the other captains. His head held high and his eyes cold and bored. "Do I have your votes as well? Or do I have to... appeal to you more?" He asked them. Having one of the captains agree to join him on the quest was wonderful and all, however, she only had one skill that they would probably need for this mission. They would need all of the people in this room to be able to make this journey successful. "Because I would much rather get some rest before sailing in the morning than staying up all night arguing over it."He finished a hint of tiredness in his voice.

Julien pushed himself off from the wall he'd been leaning against while he listened to the others argue. To be perfectly honest he'd had every intention of agreeing from the beginning, but the others had made things more amusing. Why would he be so willing to work with the English? Well, as it happened, a pardon was exactly what he needed. There was one small catch, however; he needed a French pardon. Based on how badly the English wanted to find this City of Gold, he guessed that wouldn't be a problem. After returning from this errand, he planned to return to France with his accumulated treasure and live out the rest of his days with his family among the French nobility. Stepping forward, he addressed the commodore. "I will agree to sail with you, but I will require a French pardon as well as one from the English," he stated looking down his nose at the commodore as if daring him to refuse. "
(Full form coming in a little bit. Also I may change his name again so fair warning.)

(Alright, here we go! Finally, I'm sorry Dx I was slightly lazy and kept his skill the same as Kat's. Also his description and personality description kind of suck, but oh well I guess. I just couldn't seem to say what I wanted to say, haha. I also keep capitalizing random words in the middle of my sentences. Don't know what that's about.)
Julien Narcisse ~ Tempête de la mer (Tempête) 27 ~ Male ~ French ~ Ship(s) (that they have captained/captaining) La Terreur du Mer, now sharing custody of the Tempest Description~ Julien is tall and on the more slender side, but he still has the muscle and rough look of a pirate. He’s got black hair that hangs in his eyes which are a bright cobalt blue. 90% of the time he wears a condescending smirk on his face, and the other 10% of the time he’s probably trying to kill you, or trying to seduce you. He’s quite good at both. Most of the time, Julian tends to wear black. (He likes to think it makes him look more dramatic.) His favorite pair of knee-high boots are worn black leather and are usually paired with a similar leather vest over a canvas shirt (*gasp*, it’s not black!). The outfit is topped with a black coat that has silver buttons, some of which have sapphires imbedded in them. His hat (also black) isn’t anything special; just a regular tricorne hat. Personality~ He is rather arrogant most of the time about basically everything. It can be a challenge to tell when he’s truly angry because sometimes he is completely calm on the outside while seething inside and other times his rage has no control. On his ship he commands respect from his crew by treating them fairly while still reminding them who is in charge when needed. Everything he does, he justifies by reminding himself it’s for his family. It’s made him capable of doing some pretty gruesome things. Alliance (Pirate/English/Neutral)~ Pirate Position in Alliance (Pirate Captain/Government official/Crew/Royalty)~ Pirate Captain Choice of Weapon(s)~ Swords and pistols. He usually has a cutlass or something similar hanging from his belt along with usually two pistols. Special Skill~ Julien always seems to know exactly where she is when at sea. Whether it’s a gift or just that he’s particularly good at reading stars or currents it’s hard to say, but it certainly has been a useful talent on multiple occasions. Relationships (Family/Lover/Crush)~ Many lovers here and there but nothing serious. History~ He joined the French Navy in order to help provide for his mother and three younger siblings; two brothers and a sister. Quickly he learned that pirating would allow him to provide better for his family, so one day when attacking a pirate ship, he snuck onto the pirate ship and helped the pirates sink the French ship. To thank him, the pirates didn’t kill him and over time he worked his way up to being the captain of his own ship. FlamePetal

(Yippee!)
(Ok so you know what's terrifying? When you're trying to draw eyes (well that's just terrifying by itself) but when they eyes are only half done and look scary and also your person doesn't have eyebrows yet.)

(I'm debating if I want to try to write his french accent... sounds hard, haha. I might do it on and off as I'm feeling lazy or not xD)
"Rude of them to keep us standing around like this," Julien said, stretching with a yawn. "They're going to wish they'd let me sleep more if we don't get moving soon." He glanced around at the other captains. Naturally he'd heard of all of them though never met any of them. They all seemed to sail different areas of the sea than him and so they'd never crossed paths. From what he could tell, none of the others really liked each other which could potentially prove problematic if they were supposed to be working together.

(Haha mine wasn't particularly long either.) (And yeah, Kat, I actually speak some French so I plan on using it some. I just thought it could be a fun challenge. When I'm not lazy. Which isn't very often xD)

Julian watched the people coming and going along the dock, flashing charming smiles at some of the prettier young women. The reaction was what he was after, but of course the women were immediately rushed away by their companions, throwing him dirty looks over their shoulder. He would just wink at them in return. It was all a game to him. When the Commodore finally appeared, he fell in behind the Englishman, ready to be on their way. The sooner they finished this, the sooner he'd be home basking in riches. "As well as one might hope, I suppose, considering the fact that we were left in a crowded room with hardly any decent supper," he responded to the Commodore. " Honestly, would it have killed you to allow us at least some REAL bread? We may be pirates, but we're not barbarians."

(Sorry if I'm slow, I'm working on a drawing that I'm really trying to finish tonight.)
"Elle est belle," Julien said under his breath when he saw the ship. Now if only he didn't have to share her. Following the Commodore up the gangplank, he glanced down to the water on either side with a grin. Any ship was close enough to home for him and made him wonder if he really did want to quit pirating when this was all over. While bringing all of the captains together was a good idea, Julien didn't see how they were expected to work together on the ship. They were all captains after all; used to being in charge and not ones for being ordered around. This would certainly be an interesting journey.
