mintedstar/furπ¦ - starting the meeting ahead of time isn't very procrastinator like, mint! geez! haha. but if you put off another thing, i guess it counts. phantomstar57 - busted knee? D: that's not good! whatever happened, i hope that heals properly and quickly! and honestly? i love that you make the time to pop in regularly. i feel like even if it hasn't been super lively here, there's still a lot of folks who are regularly online. Dingoleap - [in my best ghost voice] it's all an illusion... oooooooooh... spoooooooooookyyyyy... Owlmoon - yeah, sure thing! c: pings won't go out for the old things i'm uploading, but as new content rolls out, then you'll see pings. Oh, I actually got the layout up at least. But surprisingly, yesterday was the end of a lot of my lazy/procrastination feeling. I mean, I read so much.

I wacked the knee against my desk, causing bursitis and damaging the menescus. Its been months because in January I tripped and landed on the leg wrong flaring in all back up. I think it will be a long slow road but it is slowly healing.

mintedstar/furπ¦ - you betray us all like this? helping us do adulty things reasonably? [clutches chest] how could you. phantomstar57 - oh no, i'm so sorry! knee injuries aren't fun to deal with and they certainly take time. it sounds like you're prepared to deal with it, though, and i hope you have a solid recovery from here on out! also, i see in your status you're getting another cat? Dingoleap - you get to go into the next bit and relive that sweet htmf experience all over again! btw (because i can't remember) did we ever get a chance to talk about htmf when you read that?

Thank you The knee is healing but its my chronic degenerative disk disease in my neck that give sme great difficulty some days. Like last night-I slept in the wrong position and woke up in a panic. It took me a bit to realize it was the neck--again. . .old adulting is no fun sometimes. . .

We have a basic plot line and some characters mapped out. We've been planning this for a long time, but nothing ever came of it. We were all too busy at the time, and then the forums closed down, and time just got away from us.
Thank you, Crescent! Maybe once we're all done with exams we'll be able to get the ball rolling again.

Dingoleap - what was your favorite part and favorite character? these are important statistics, of course. Β» ΡΠ½Ξ±dΟΟ βοΈ - that would be really fun, but i'm not sure if we could do it... we had so much trouble in the planning let alone actually writing anything... i worry a little about trying to do it again, i guess? βΎ CΚα΄sα΄α΄Ι΄α΄ β½ - <3 you're so sweet

Oooh, thats a tough question. It's a three way tie between Coal, Stonetail and Greystar, but I do have to lean towards Coal. As for my favourite part - the final confrontation between Greystar and Torch was amazing, although Stonetail finding Thrushpaw's body was an excellent scene, mostly because it was so heartbreaking.
Collab wise, I think we'd be able to manage it if we weren't all so damn busy all the time. School/collage has taken over our lives. I understand your concerns. It would be really hard to make it work, particularly at the moment with exams and such :/

It was a mix of us being busy/the forums closing/life in general/ and I think (correct me if I'm wrong) we went about planning the wrong way. It should feel more cohesive and easy. Each of us should be represented in the story somehow someway, so I think if we were to approach it from a more personal level, we could build a better story and something greater that all three of us would want to write. I liked our idea of the three main characters in a semi-fantasy world, but as I said, I feel like it needs to be more personal. Something that our followers would read and be like "that epic scene had to be Dingo's idea!" or "that character had to be the genius of Tuesday!" If you guys want, I'd love to make a separate thread. Instead of trying to force ourselves to plan, I think we should just talk among ourselves and share thoughts and ideas. We should quiz each other and really hammer home our personal likes/dislikes in stories and what our dream characters would be, ect. If we are going to collab we need to be able to really, really get each other, because when each of us writes it can't feel like three separate stories. It should feel like three authors writing a masterpiece that represents their strengths and ideals. α΄α΄α΄sα΄

We can plan via personal messaging, if it's easier! I'm pretty sure you can open a conversation between several people.
I'm always up for collab work! I've realised that I do miss writing fan fiction, and I'd love to get back into it. Writing a collab piece would also allow me the time to work on my own projects as well, so it'd be the best of both worlds. I agree - if we did write something, it would have to be more personal. If Tues is happy to go ahead I'm all for it! Quizzing sounds like a really good idea. at least our writing styles can be adapted pretty easily to fir nicely together, not that theres a huge difference to begin with. We've all come a long way since the idea for the collab was first proposed, so any plot ideas/character development would probably be slightly different and much, much better.
In order for that to happen, the planning can't be forced. I don't know about you, but I get my best ideas at the strangest of times. I've taken to carrying a notebook around at all times - its fantastic for when I'm hiking and I want to describe a particularly interesting tree that I find. I can go weeks without inspiration before suddenly finding it again. the pint I'm trying to make, I guess, is that we shouldn't make deadlines, and just let it flow. It would probably work out much better that way.
Like you said, it could be epic, but it would have to be done very carefully, and done right. It must be seamless.
So yeah, I'm still keen if you guys are!

In terms of consistency as well, the PM feature allows us to 'double mark' or 'double edit' chapters before we post them to ensure that each chapter flows. It will be much easier to message one another with the drafted chapters for consistency checks, and other people can't read the messages, so we can edit in peace.
