[ Audrey Bright ]Audrey arrived at the party late, but that wasn't particularly surprising. She'd always had trouble being on time, it was very rare that she appeared on time. She wasn't too late, just by ten minutes. When she arrived it seemed to be the perfect time as the party was beginning to liven up, but hadn't quite reached out of control. She smiled slyly, her gaze sliding from person to person. She planned on having fun at this party, even if that meant stirring up some trouble.
She looked around for someone even vaguely recognizable, hoping to catch up and before anything big happened.
[ Daniel Wilde ] Daniel was heading towards the party, against his better judgement. He usually did not attend these sorts of events, he wasn't a huge fan of crowds and even less a fan of loud pulsing music. He had his camera in tow, not really certain what he was aiming for. A few bonfire shots would be nice, but he was terrifed his camera would accidentally get destroyed. Which was why he was trying to get there before the party really began, but decided to stop at a small cafe along the way.
Josie's Coffee house was fairly popular, but today it wasn't nearly as full as he was used to. It being filled usually deterred Daniel from entering. He glanced around as he waited for his coffee. It was a nice place, when it wasn't filled to the brim with people. He noticed Sean and after negotiating with himself, decided to say hello.
"Hey," Daniel said as he approached Sean.

Max Carson across the sand toward Ridley and her group, Lila in tow. He would have called it Jamie's group, since in general he spent a little more time with Jamie one-on-one, but he was under no delusions. Lincoln High was like a chess game: your king might be pretty, but the queen ruled the game. Ridley was the queen.
Ugh, and of course Evie is with her, Max noticed. (Holly has decided, for purposes of added drama, that Max does not like Evie, if that's okay!) He rolled his sea-blue eyes but didn't comment on it.
"Max, slow up!" Lila called, laughing lightly. She was much shorter than her football-player brother, and couldn't compete with his long strides, especially no in the shifting sand. She had already taken off her cheap purple flip flops and stuffed them into the big mesh bag Max had kind of hoped she wouldn't bring. It held her beach towel, some money, extra hair ties, a jacket, all that sort of stuff. She looked a little silly lugging it around in her fashionably ripped jeans and lilac-colored swimsuit with alternating mesh and opaque stripes, but she was still just a kid. To her, "beach party" means swimming and splashing and sunburns, while to Max, it meant dancing and drinking and noise. He hadn't wanted to spoil her fun, though.
He turned, the wind rippling his faded red Coca-cola tshirts, and waited for her to catch up. He made some joke about just leaving her behind one of these days, for which she punched his arm. When they approached the group of royals, Max threw his arms wide. "My friends!" He hugged Ridley around the shoulders quickly, then turned to Jamie for one of those intricate fist-bump, high-five, man handshakes Holly does not understand. "What's up, man?!"
Lila stood a step or two back and waited. She recognized Jamie and Ridley from Max's Facebook photos and occasional events at their own house, but she had never really talked to them.

Grace just rolled her eyes before hanging up and putting the phone away. She leaned back before Hunter spoke. "She's still mad at me?" He said slowly.
"It's your own fault." Grace looked at him as they pulled up in front of Tate's house.
Evie nodded. "Sounds fun." She said. "I wish I had gone to more places."

Ivy and Logan so arrived together at the party. Ivy herself hadn't really wanted to come. She really wasn't a partier--they were too noisy and crowded for her taste, and besides, she had a perfectly good show she could be binge-watching right now. But Logan had wanted to come, and he had pointed out that this was her senior year, her last chance to really live it up, so why not at least try it? She had consented enough to tie a handkerchief around her hair, even though that trend had been short-lived a long time ago for the rest of the country, throw on her go-to white tshirt and jeans instead of her pajamas, and let her cousin pick her up.
Logan had tried a little harder to be presentable, in a gray tshirts under a plaid green button-up, combed his hair and everything. He wore plain gray-ish swim trunks as well, just in case, but was mostly concerned about the camera around his neck. That camera was his ticket to a lot of social events.
When they climbed out of the car, Ivy realized with some disappointment that she didn't really know anybody. None of her usual friends were here, not that she could see.
But Logan, as mysteriously and instantly as always, made himself right at home. He caught a flash of silver hair and smiled. "Hey, Audrey!" he called, walking right up to the girl. He knew her from the yearbook committee, at least a bit. "Nice hair color," he commented. Her changing colors always intrigued him a bit. "Did you just get here?"

Evie looked up as Max arrive, scowling lightly. Great, he was here now. She didn't much care for him as he didn't for her. She did t know why he didn't like her, she had never been that mean to him. Whatever, didn't faze her.

Heyyyyy cx))
Skylar Brennan pulled up to the party slightly late, though it wasn't like that was unusual for her. She often got sidetracked, most often when she had to be getting to something important (unless it was math league. Somehow, she was never late for math league). Exiting her car, she headed straight toward the bonfire, which was exactly where she knew that her best friends, Ridley and Evie. She knew they would be right at the center of attention, because that's where they always were.
Smiling, she walked up, joining the Queens and the King, giving Ridley a quick but heartfelt side hug. "Hey, guys," she greeted, glancing up as Max and Lila came over to join them. "Max, so nice that you came," she teased lightly.

Skylar Brennan. See, there was a girl Max liked. Pretty, popular, genuine. She tended a little toward the nerdy side, but whatever. It actually came in handy sometimes, like a pocket calculator, only a lot nicer to look at. "Look who's talking. At least I was on time!" he shot back with a laugh. She couldn't know he'd only just gotten there too.
He twisted around and pulled Lila forward by the arm. "Ladies," he addressed Skylar and the girls, "I'd like you to meet Lila, my pride and joy. Little sister, this is Skylar, Ridley, Natasha, and Evie." No point starting a fight by obviously excluding her. Not yet, anyway. "Take care of her for me won't you? I'm getting a drink. Wanna come?" he asked Jamie as he turned away and started for the nearest cooler.
Lila smiled shyly and lifted her fingers in a wave. "Hello." She wished Max hadn't left her alone with them so quickly--especially not to get a "drink," which she suspected wasn't going to be sodapop. Now she had a whole moral dilemma of what to tell Mom and Dad. But that should wait till later probably.

Evie rolled her eyes lightly. She didn't want to talk to that losers sister. She crosse her arms, looking at Lila and not speaking. She tried to think of an excuse to get out of there.

Other than school, there was only one thing Wyatt couldn't stand, and that thing was walking right behind him in a rant that seemed to never end. Usually he would just try to slip to school without anyone else, but it seemed that his mother was trying to keep him from ditching school this year, which would explain the presence of Molly. He paid little attention to his sister's nonstop rambling, only occasionally catching words such as 'failing', 'doomed', and 'criminal'. Already feeling done with the day, he took out the packet of cigarettes from his pants pocket.
Molly was already having a bad day. Last year had been a rough enough start, as it took several months before her teachers fully believed she was nothing like her delinquent of a brother. For the most part, she had managed to steer clear of him, and most of the students hadn't made the same connection that her teachers had. She made friends with people like her, and she even joined the mathletes. But as of yesterday, her mother announced that the two of them would be walking together to school. All her work to avoid correlation with her brother was for naught. She wrinkled her nose in disgust as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes, looking for any way out of the situation.
Hayden didn't remember where they swiped the school's master key from, but as the junior relaxed in the space where they wedged themselves between the top of the trophy cabinet and the ceiling, they knew they didn't regret it. Exploring the empty school in the middle of the night had been fun, and Hayden's vantage point gave them a good view of the people slowly filing into the school. With a yawn, they put Hugo back into his usually resting spot in their backpack and climbed back down to the floor before they could get in trouble.

As Wyatt walked to the bonfire, he did a mental tally of everything he brought with him. Alcohol? Check. Boombox? Check. Fireworks? Check. As much as he hated the school, Wyatt could certainly admit the students were good with parties, and he was more than happy to help out. He spit out his current cigarette, stomping on the butt with his foot. He dropped the boombox on a free spot on the ground, made sure the fireworks box was far enough away from the fire, and held up one of the packs of beer. "Hey! Who's thirsty?"
The moment Molly made it on the grounds, she got as far away from Wyatt as possible. It had been hard enough to convince her teachers that she was nothing like her brother, and she wasn't about to let her classmates get any impression either. If she could have her way, she'd just find a nice, quiet corner to sit with her phone and skype her boyfriend. Looking around, she tried to find somewhere that seemed safe enough to stay.
Hayden took one of Wyatt's bottles without a word, but instead of drinking, they simply poured it out. They carefully pulled the label off the bottle before finding somewhere to throw it away. The bottle cap was put in their pocket, and the junior walked towards the water, filling the bottle up. Looking satisfied, Hayden covered the top of the bottle as they shook it, a small whirlpool briefly appearing inside. With this, they put the cap back on, heading back to the bonfire with their new toy.

[ Audrey Bright ] Audrey turned upon hearing her name and smiled at Logan. She was surprised to see him at the Bonfire, usually yearbook didn't cover parties this early in the year. School wanted to promote being a good student and starting the year off right, or something like that. Audrey usually didn't deal too much with yearbook outside of school, she was usually far too busy stirring up trouble. She glanced him over and noted the swim trunks. "Thanks, I was a redhead for far too long. I hope you don't plan on swimming with your camera," She teased, lightly poking the protected lens of the camera. Audrey herself had come prepared for swimming, she was wearing a dark red summer dress, with a bathing suit underneath. The black straps of her bikini top poked out of the top of her dress, but that was the only indicator that she was wearing a bathing suit. Audrey wasn't a huge fan of the beach nor of swimming, but she had to be prepared for anything.
