IN honor of me getting more holes in my face (we're at six now) and my leather pants and duster Let's talk about what fashion styles the cats would have! I think that Jayfeather would be emo but he wouldn't be like the cool emo, more like the middle school emo Lionblaze would be a jock, no doubt Hollyleaf would probably be a very intelligent but quiet student but StarClan help you if you push her...she'd be the embodiment of "it's always the quiet ones" Poppyfrost, Spottedleaf, Mothwing, and Dovewing would be preppy Ivypool would be goth or at least go through a goth phase Firestar would be considered the 'coolest' but secretly he's just really bland and it's all the promo he has because he's some washboard abs model Graystripe would just throw on whatever and maybe do a sniff test Silverstream would be preppy but she would have more class

Scourge would just be that edgy person who wears a spike collar in public.

Ivypool would totally be goth.
I say Hollyleaf would be the quiet one who absolutely believes in her religion.

Whitestorm dresses like a really neat and preppy teacher; white collared shirts, neckties, glasses, everything.
Bluestar wears clothing that is a lot more "Native American-styled" (dyed deerskin, fur, ect.). Basically think San from Princess Mononoke.
Jayfeather is the emo boi, of course.
Spottedleaf wears a long toga-like dress, that's really flowy. Maybe with nature/flower prints on it.
Oversized sweaters for Ravenpaw. <3
Squirrelflight wears slightly loose yet fashionable clothing that she can move around better in when she's hunting, fighting, ect.
Tallstar, like Bluestar, wears more Native-style clothing, maybe with a slightly modern twist.
Scourge is the ultimate edgelord who will just wear all black, with silver spikes poking out of his shoes and jacket. Maybe he'd even have the collar, too.
Half Moon's clothes are strictly tribal. She would probably wear beaded necklaces, feathers, animal fangs, and the like.
Cloudtail wears whatever he wants, and it's probably something tacky.
(I see the humanized Warriors world in a different AU, so our thoughts might be a little different. ^^')

I would imagine the characters as short hair (mostly females), and a somewhat ungroomed in appearance (as I imagine them as they seem to be in the novels, indigenous tribal populations more or less living on their own in remote regions). The males a bit heavily breaded. Clothing for the is an eccentric mix between traditional (maybe somewhat Classical Celto-Germanic, but I am not sure) and western clothing (from a little bit of trading with the outside world).

(I see the humanized Warriors world in a different AU, so our thoguhts might be a little different. ^^') So what "Native American" culture do you particularly have in mind? Apache? Sioux? Inuit? You know that is an umbrella term for literally thousands of tribal groups (many of them of very little...if anything to do with each-other) across a very large land mass? But I do really like your ideas for the clothing styles of many of these characters.

So what "Native American" culture do you particularly have in mind? Apache? Sioux? Inuit? You know that is an umbrella term for literally thousands of tribal groups (many of them of very little...if anything to do with each-other) across a very large land mass? But I do really like your ideas for the clothing styles of many of these characters. I do know and understand that there are countless Native cultures out there, and each one is drastically different in its own way. I usually... have a very ignorant tendency to just generalize one broad category including everything else under it, (only if I am not so informed on the topic) simply to make it easier to categorize a group of something than to decipher through each individual thing. In a way, though, although this is a simpler method, I guess it is also a wrong way to go about it. I apologize for my lack of knowledge on the subject.
Now, in terms of exactly what culture I view certain characters in: Bluestar's design is taken more from Navajo-style clothing; perhaps not as colorful, with intricate designs. Tallstar - as well as most of WindClan, whom I see to more of a traditionalized approach - is more Cherokee. Many feathers, fringed buckskin, beads, etc.
