Benjamin figured he probably should have brought out a small group for a run, considering there seemed to be more walkers around lately, but of course his introvertive instincts took over and told him otherwise. Although he won't be able to take as much supplies back as he would with a group, by going alone, he was risking less lives and he could also scout. It would be best to get a better map outside of where they normally went for runs. Supplies was running low lately, the other groups around the area (and loners) have all been searching in the same ten miles radius. They needed to stretch out if they were going to get anything accomplished.
So Ben was clearly doing two jobs at once, scouting and scavenging a new area. It was more suburban area, sort of like Alexandria, but more abandoned. As in, no one was living there besides walkers. There was one house that looked promising though, it looked pretty untouched. However, it was clearly touched as the door was unlocked. Ben grabbed his knife from his belt, and let out a low whistle. There may have been walkers, and they were attracted by noise. Unless there were humans in here, then Ben made the worst mistake.

Astral had been halfway through raiding the house when he heard someone approaching, after being a loner for so long his senses had been heightened. He carefully closed a few open cupboards and made his way to the window to see who or what was approaching, but before he had made it all the way to the window he heard the whistle come from the front door. His instinct told him not to respond so he made his way silently across the halls into one of the bedrooms, after all he'd had a hefty supply of water and a bit of food from the kitchen so he figured hiding was his best option at this point. He quickly hid behind a few knocked over dressers and tables hoping that it was only one person and he'd not be caught

Ben knew the house was clear of walkers, considering he hadn't heard any move around or growl and snarl. But was it clear of humans? He would kill for a gun right now, but the Hilltop didn't have enough to give out to people like Ben who were just exploring. That was where knives and such came into play.
He moved quietly through the house, unsure if he should look for anyone hiding before they found him, or if he should grab what he needed and ran. Ben figured if there was anyone hiding in the house though, they would probably be upstairs. Maybe they were not as cruel as most people he had ran into and strike some kind of deal. If they didn't feel like taking advantage of a 15 year old that is. He dismissed the thought and started to move up the stairs. He winced when one of the steps creaked underneath his foot.

Astral peaked out of his spot, hoping not to be found, he could see the top of the stairs clearly and was unsure of the sound, he knew it was one person coming in for sure but he was still wary of any extras who might be waiting outside. As the kid reached the top of the stairs he knew instantly that he was in no danger, but he still made sure to keep hos approach quick and silent. He slowly got out of his spot and made his way to the door, hiding slightly to the side of it and waited for him hoping he'd check the rooms. Astral, being the type of guy he was, had no feelings of guilt at this point. He planned on taking what the kid had but not all of it, he was still human after all. Not some other sort of monsters like the walkers.

I never really did one though cause of the rules on the old forums. Post apocalyptic rps are usually good fun.)

there couldn't be any danger here, not when he was upstairs and no one decided to attack him yet, that didn't stop him from keeping his knife out however. He held it by his side, but not in an attack or defensive position like he had before. It would be best to check the rooms upstairs, maybe the people who were here before had something of value left even if they ran off with most likely the best things. He saw books scattered around the floor, and other items in the upstairs hallway. He kicked a book into one of the bedrooms and grinned when it made a dent in the dry wall on the other side. "Point Friesenhahn." He chuckled before taking on a more serious approach and to going inside of the room. There obviously weren't walkers inside, otherwise they would make themselves noticeable in one way or another. They weren't exactly the brightest creatures in the world.

Cloudfire3505 || Chase Sylvester || Male || 29 || Loner || Rank || Chase is average for his height at about 6'0. He has bright green eyes, well eye. Th other one is scared and milky white. He has jet black hair that he slicks back and ties into a ponytail at the back. He wears an old trench coat that nearly touches the ground, a bright red t-shirt and blue jeans. As well as grey hiking boots and gloves. He has a visible scar across his left eye, which he now is blind in. || He is a surprisingly cheery person, once you get to know him. He most certainly has a dark side though and when you first meet him he's nice, but weary of you. If you break his trust though it's just about impossible to get it back, and if you try to hurt his friends or family in any way he will do his best to make sure you regret it. || Before the war he was part of the army and has the skills as part of that. || None || Other

(Sure!)
Chase sat on the top of a large, crumbling building with a pair of binoculars. He needed to find if there was any places he could go for some food, which was why he was up there. It was also because he wanted to see if there were any people down there that might be a threat. It was because of all his careful recon that he was still alive. Though things were going badly lately for him. Too many people in so much time means there's less of a chance to find useful items now.

Belle had a tendency to go out to the ruined world that surrounds the haven of Alexandria. She wasn't sure why she did it herself, nor did others, but it didn't matter when they all trusted her to come home safely. So far she has, save for minor scrapes and bruises, and that just give her the motivation to keep leaving. Some say she spends more hours of the day outside the walls than she does in. However, it is never to anyone's disadvantage. She always brings supplies back, whether a little or a lot depended on how much she can carry at the time and if she has brought anyone else. For today, it was just her. Everyone was a bit busy at the moment, or just coming back from a run. And Belle didn't feel like waiting for the next set of them to leave. She kept a gun in her holster, her Colt Python, and knife in her belt. If she can help it, she would use the knife for walkers. Guns make too much noise. Belle wasn't sure where she was headed really, just any place that looked promising but wasn't too much trouble to get into. Without someone to watch her back she was putting herself at risk while she tried to get places open. This building that she was approaching though, looked more or less useless. She was in a town as it is, which means higher walker population, and didn't have time to scope things out much. There was a walker that had already spotted her from up the road, but she had a good ten minutes or so before it got to her. The others must be hidden in building or some other discreet location. But Belle didn't want to be caught out here and she started to climb up a ladder on the side of said building. It was the fire escape kind. So this must have been an apartment complex of sorts. Belle tried to stay quiet as she moved up the stairs and ladders, however it was difficult to when the metal was old and not properly inspected like it would have been in the old world. When she made it to the top, she spotted a man standing close to the edge of the building, and started to get in a more defensive position. This man was not dead, as he was holding binoculars. Walkers would have no need for that. "What are you doing up here sir?" She asked a but wary

Astral watched silently as the boy walked into the room, he could tell he'd be no older than 16 so the idea of him being a threat was out of the picture. How could someone like him hurt Astral? Maybe if he just let him be he could sneak out without the human interaction. It's not like he'd ever enjoyed it before. As soon as Ben was fully in the room he as quietly as possible made his way out of the room. It was going well until he managed to kick one of the stray boxes on the floor and it hit straight into the wall. "F***" he muttered under his breath and stopped where he stood and looked back to the room Ben had entered

Ben had been busy looking through basically every drawer, bookshelf, shoe box, and under the bed for anything that might be useful. He didn't find anything that would have been helpful survival wise, but when it came to boredom, he was quite excited when he saw his favorite book: The Phantom Tollbooth. He remembered reading it in elementary school, and at the time it was very thick book. In his opinion, it still was. He put it in his bag to hopefully get some nostalgia from it when he got back to the Hilltop, and he was about to go to the next room, but that was when he heard a noise. A loud one. Like a crash. The movement halted and all fell silent, if it was a walker, it surely would have kept going. There was obviously someone else in the house. Ben took out his knife, and inched slowly towards the door, trying not to move too fast, as that would surely make someone knife him at the sight of movement. "Who's there?" He called out, not fully expecting an answer.

Astral heard the voice but didn't want to answer, he swiftly made his way into the kitchen and stood quiet, but he figured the boy would come looking for him anyways "I don't want to fight" he called back but still had a large knife in one hand and the magnum he kept for a failsafe in the backside of his pants. He took a step back into the hallway and kept his hands visible, even though he still had the large knife in his right hand. "I don't think we need to speak much, just take what we can find and go our seperate ways" he offered trying to be as civil as possible. But that's what the saviours hated about him, he was unlike the rest of them and often got in sh** for being how he was. But as much as he hated the group they were like family at this point so leaving proved harder than expected.
