The small dust of pink didn’t go unnoticed either by Beckett, whose lips seemed to tug a little more at the response. This was the Rabbit who was quite easy to tease and embarrass - and for whatever reason, the Dragon always found himself enjoying doing so to the younger Sign. It was strange, considering the fact that most would think that a Dragon, the representation of luck and strength, would not get along with the Rabbit, the symbol of vulnerability and comfort. A massive, usually feared creature with eyes of icy fire, and a small creature that possessed an irresistible, endearing charm with soft tufts of fur and round eyes. Perhaps that difference was why, however, they were able to coexist. When Charlie whined, Beckett only quirked his eyebrow once more and tipped his head to the side with his hands still resting on his waist. He wasn’t quite certain of why the younger Sign seemed so eager to jump to maintain his physique - after all, out of all of them, it seemed that he was one of (and if not the only) one who did not have to necessarily exercise. He was the representation of youth, after all, and his position seemed to give him the lucky privilege.
The transformation almost would have caught Beckett off guard, if he hadn’t already caught hints and glimpses into some of the odd responses Charlie had been giving him this morning. The utter expression of weariness and the strange expression that had flickered across his face earlier… “I won’t, don’t worry,” he answered with a weak curve of his lips and only rested his fingers against his temple when he heard more of Charlie’s frantic “I’m fine”s. He had a feeling that Charlie was anything but okay at the moment - worse than he’d been imagining. The morning didn’t seem to be unraveling the way the little Rabbit wanted it to, though he was fine with how Charlie was right now.
His eyes opened once more to focus on the soft bundle of fur that had crashed into his leg and tripped over once more to land face-first onto the ground. He was about to ask if the younger Sign if he was all right, though before he could even tentatively scoop the small rabbit into his cupped hands (out of instinct and worry, even if his expression remained naturally sanguine yet mischievous and mysterious all the same) Charlie had already run off once again. Rubbing the beck of his neck, Beckett only exhaled lightly. I wish I could do something.
When Charlie had returned and looked up at him, Beckett’s dark eyes searched those of the younger Sign’s for a short while. In a way, the rabbit reminded him of himself - only he had changed the moment things had taken a turn and everything had spiralled down. Reaching out, he gently rested his long, elegant hand on Charlie’s head. And then, he smiled. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of reassurance, one that would only be run into four times or so in one’s life. It was the kind that seemed to face the entire universe before facing you solely, believing in you as you would like to believe in yourself and understanding you as far as you want to be understood. “Be careful out there, all right?" He said as he took a few steps away, passing Charlie to reach the door. Then his voice and expression returned back to the non-serious version of himself, and his gaze twinkled as he glanced over his shoulder once with the smallest hint of a crooked grin. "I suppose you don't have too much to worry about since you're with me, though."

ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ Charlie tried to maintain his happy look while Beckett seemed to be searching him with those dark eyes of his. Yet, he maintained his smiles, which solidified upon seeing the Dragon smile. Nodding when the other told him to be careful, he answered "I will!" He pouted at what Beckett said next, saying in turn "It's the other way around! Rabbits are the symbol of good luck!" And with that, he followed the other male out, smiling when the morning sky greeted them. If one paid attention, nearby plants and trees turned, slightly, as if acknowledging his presence. He even went to hug a tree, greeting "Good morning to you too~!" Did he look stupid? At least a little, but he had a connection with plants. They couldn't "think" or talk like animals, but they gave off energy. Like a different type of soul, but not as vibrant. "So, where's this place you mentioned earlier?" Charlie asked as he made his way back over to Beckett, looking up at him curiously "Is it far?" He took a moment to look around again. Where the hideout was, was actually in a busier part of town, because that's where they were expected not to be. And, as stupid as the monsters were, they kept looking in the quieter, more abandoned parts of the city. Where little to no action would be. At first, it was the ideal area for the Zodiac, until they were nearly caught that one time, and Charlie suggested after escaping that they take the risk and move to a more populated area, for the cover. That, and Charlie didn't like being in quiet areas. He needed to be around people in general. Needed the social feel of it all. Not that the other Zodiac weren't fit for the job though. The Rabbit merely liked huge crowds, which meant more chances to talk and to make others smile. The thought made him grin for the moment, which looked almost as good as one of his shy smiles. As they headed toward the place Beckett brought up earlier, he looked around at the few other people that were out in the morning as well. They all seemed to lift in spirits as they cane near the Rabbit, as his aura could carry out into anything with a soul. A majority of his abilities needed living things to even be put to use. If there were no living beings, all he could do was teleport, and he didn't even use the ability much because it caused him pain. "Do you think," he found himself asking the other Zodiac "Regular humans would like me, any of us, if we tried to live out in the open?" Humans were the cause of the Zodiac living in secret. Maybe, if the government weren't hunting them, and they got to live like any other person... would they be accepted? It wasn't like they were vengeful spirits or anything, waiting for the chance to slaughter everyone. If they really wanted, they would've enacted such a plan by now. Charlie had always wanted to live... peacefully, if you may. He was aware not all people were bad, just a handful, so what if they had the chance to be among those who could possibly accept them? However, if they had to remain as they were, the twelve Zodiac living amongst themselves, then Charlie truly would be okay with that. Content with the idea, because above all he wanted their acceptance and trust first. They were, after all, the only ones who'd shown him comfort and what care they could offer while trapped within those perfect, horrible walls. And yes, all these thoughts, memories and feelings coursed through his mind as he awaited an answer, still maintaining his signature, positive aura and smile. As said before, he made it his job to try and always be happy, because it tended to rub off on the others and make them feel better, if even a little bit. To simplify, he'd always choose the Zodiac over everyone else. Maybe it was the Rabbit's spirit telling him that, but he knew for sure he had a say in it to. If he himself didn't care, then Charlie wouldn't have even stayed with the others, let alone show he cared so much about them, most likely more than himself.

|| Oliver "Ollie" || Ram || 25 || Male || || Oliver stands at roughly six feet even, and is owner to a skinny, yet muscular frame. His skin is a tad pale, marked with no ugly blemishes apart from the scars leftover from the scientists' experiments. His face is sharply featured. It shows off Ollie's high cheekbones and jawline well, but he doesn't like it much. He usually tries his best to keep his blonde hair styled into some mess that resembles the quiff, but he's literally a failure at everything. He can hardly shave without cutting his face open. Ollie's eyes are brown. || || Animal Form || || Ollie basically triples in size entering his beast form. His humanoid ears sprout out into ones resembling a goat's, while dark horns grow from above and curve around almost like a cinnamon roll. Which, ahem, he is. His legs also become those of a ram's, even accompanied by that iconic tail. || || As the 'invincible ram', Oliver has a strong resistance to pain or illness—though do note, it is by far, not an immunity. His body will also heal wounds much faster than a human's body. A scratch may disappear completely in five minutes tops, while a broken bone, par se, would take but a couple days. He doesn't have any powers on the offense, though, so he's still not too terrifying if an enemy. || || Oliver, the Ram, is a more reserved sign, who's quiet nature is frequently confused with unkindness. He tries to be friendly, although it's...difficult for him. Nonchalant replies and next to no body language is just how he rolls ninety percent of his time. Smiles are easy for him, though, even if they aren't sincere. Ofher than for his emotionlessness, Ollie is also known to be extremely disorganized, impetuous, and a tad paranoid. No matter what, though, he tries to keep real life and the things in his head separate, keeping up an emotional shield most of the time—another potential reason why he's always so unattached. || || Asexual, biromantic || n/a ||
[ hope he's okay ^^ i kind of rushed him, so sorry if my words seem clunky or jumbled up. ]

[ oof. looks like i can't write anything good today :/ sorry again for sloppiness. ]
Ollie has always been an extremely light sleeper, thanks to paranoia that the peace the Zodiacs cherished now would be disrupted, and the human government would once again take them in and experiment on them. So when two of his comapanions awoke and started to make breakfast, it wasn't very long until blondie's eyes snapped open. Only after reassuring himself it was only Charlie and Beckett did he let himself relax and seep back into the comfort sleep usually brought him. Unlike some of the others, he didn't have frequent nightmares. No, the horrors of the past only tore at his mind when he was fully conscious. Ollie's dreams were always pleasant, whenever he did remember them.
After many minutes of staring at the ceiling, he decided there was no use sleeping much longer. Ollie figured the others would awake soon enough as well, and there would really be no possibility of rest at that point. With the softest of sighs, the man heaved himself up into a sitting position, despite how every cell in his body screamed for him to stay down.
After several moments of him sitting there, waking himself up, Oliver finally slid out of bed. It's not like he planned to do anything when he got up, anyway, he mused. He was probably just going to go curl up on the couch and relax, as opposed to doing that in his bed. Oh well. At least if they knew he was awake too, they'd make food for him. As Oliver trudged out of his room, his exhaustion seemed to be wiled away almost immediately—did he just hear the front door open? He realized the voices of his fellow Zodiacs had quieted altogether.
Forgetting decency, he pulled his door shut with an unholy slam and quickly walked out to the front door. He saw no freaky people, nor his freaky companions. Had they just gone out? Ollie glanced over at the time displayed on their microwave. It was awfully early for that. He bit his lip, then decisively pushed open the front door to look outside. Relief coursed through his body. There Charlie and Beckett were, walking away from their hideout together. None of them were dead. Yet.
He realized he was just standing there watching the two Zodiacs in the t-shirt and jeans he'd just woken up in. Was this gross? Slightly. The corner of the man's lip quirked up into one of his rare half-smiles at the thought. It would be impossible for him to slide back into the house unnoticed, so even though it felt weird, he stepped outside and closed the door shut once again with the heel of his slipper.
Ollie had to walk at a quicker pace to catch up with them. Man, this was super awkward, and he hadn't even said anything yet...why didn't he just retreat back in the house when he had the chance? He shoved his hands into his pockets, the half-grin disappearing from his face.
"Oi. Where d'you two think you're going?" Oliver finally asked as he caught up to them, a little way's up the street. He noticed he had interrupted in some sort of conversation they were having. He tightened his hands into fists, silently chastising himself.

If he had still been a little younger and had regarded the Rabbit hugging the tree, he was certain that he would have leaned down, tapped the tree very lightly, and said: “hello there, can you hear me?” with his casual gaze and voice. Then he would have tipped his head, smiled a little, and greeted the tree just after asking Charlie if the large, serene plant had a name. Some people could have mistaken his gestures for mockery, but Beckett’s dark brown eyes would always give them the confirmation that he indeed was being quite serious in his own whimsical way. Not to say that he had become suddenly old (actually maybe he had, he wasn’t entirely certain of that), but there were times when he wouldn’t do the things he would have done. Instead, he reached out and lightly touched the surface of the tree and opted to greet it silently.
Raising his head so that his gaze could catch a glimpse of the dark, vast sky, Beckett only placed his hand in his pocket while the other rested next to his side. “It wouldn’t be fun if I simply told you, would it?” But he shook his head to the side at the second question anyway in a clearer answer. “It isn’t that far - any place further and I would have gone by myself.” He was used to moving around the large area by himself with a very low profile at all times - after all in the beginning when they had finally found the building that would conceal them, there had been quite a few things to do. His preference to move about alone didn’t result from not having trust in his companions, but rather the fact that if one of them were to be unlucky and caught, he’d rather it be himself than anyone else. Leader or not, if someone were to be snatched away by those cruel men and women, he wouldn’t be able to live with himself. It was a little selfish to think like that, wasn’t it? But just thinking about the time when the park had nearly been their gateway to those harsh, metallic walls and glittering eyes made him curl his hand tightly in his pocket, albeit his nonchalant expression.
As they walked, Beckett lowered his gaze, causing thick locks of his dark hair to fall over his eyes. Would regular humans like them if they tried to live out in the open? He’d seen those who were loyal, those who held the courage of a lion, those who were willing to initiate change for the better. He’d seen that same bravery and kindness even from those who chose to live a much simpler, quieter life that they regarded blissfully as mundane. But he’d also seen those who had darkness within themselves with a surging energy that was eager to hurt. Those who had an undercurrent of insecure hatred and wavering view of the world, greedily taking things that wasn’t theirs. If there was one thing that was common about people, however, it would be that… “All humans live to save themselves.” No, it wasn’t possible for things like them to live amongst humans. Not when the smallest inch of abnormality spread a wildfire. “Even if we didn’t have them chasing us down, there will always be people who fear us.”
But…
Tipping his head a little, his lips formed the smallest hint of a troubled smile. “Perhaps things will be different for you, though - I think that they would like you. You’re winsome like that.”
He wanted someone to prove him wrong. He wanted to believe that there would be a time when everyone would be able to live their own lives freely, amongst other people.
The other voice caused Beckett to stop in his tracks and turn around to spot the Ram - Oliver (or rather Ollie, he thought to himself. Ollie was a very charming nickname for the tall Sign). “Ollie,” he greeted, and quirked his eyebrow upon realising that his companion looked a little awkward and out of place with the t-shirt and jeans he’d woken up in (along with the slippers). Beckett decided not to comment on the disheveled appearance of the slightly taller man and instead allowed his lips to curve effortlessly, as usual. “We’re a little low with our supplies at the moment, so we’re going to go and grab a few things. Would you like to join us?” He then looked in the direction of where their little home was tucked away. “Has anyone else woken up, by the way?” As much as he enjoyed the company of his companions, having all twelve dynamic Signs moving at the same time to a store would not be too ideal.

ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ @animefreak (Sorry for decline in length!) Charlie frowned when Beckett didn't tell him, saying "You shouldn't go too far by yourself. What if none of us get to you in time if the monsters come? And you're taken?" He'd feel horrible, if he wasn't around to try and keep another Zodiac from being taken. Once again, the memories of the park came to mind. Everyone wanted to just... go somewhere. Go out in the sun and enjoy a nice day. It had been nice indeed, finally just able to relax out in public. However, the peace was disrupted when something nearly caught Charlie (who was in rabbit form at the time.) It was big, dark and fast, and sliced into the ground just behind his fleeing form, leaving three gouged out lines. And it... thought. And what it thought about was terrifying, because it reminded the Rabbit about what the government told them they'd become. What humans wanted them to turn into. After that though, he never picked up on any of the violent tremors, or saw the grotesque figure, so he never said anything to the others. Never got the chance, because the monsters had descended upon them already. The thought made him sad, what Beckett said next, but as usual he hid what he was feeling. He looked down for a moment, thinking about something before speaking "Save themselves? No, unfortunately. It is in human nature to destroy themselves, Beckett. And they all know it, that is why a lot of them try. Try to do better before they're clocked by whatever fate, and I want to get to know those people." The Drain said something else, and the Rabbit answered "Lesser beings can grow to love the superiors they fear, not that I want them to fear us. I know, if we all tried, we could get them all to like us." Beckett said it might be different for Charlie though, and he paused. "If I had to choose between the humans or the Zodiac," he said simply "I'd ditch the humans in a heartbeat. We're a value pack, so they need to buy all of us at once, right?" The point being, he wanted freedom with Zodiac, or none at all. Yet... He wouldn't mind the freedom they had now. It wasn't much, but it was something. If the government, the monsters, finally broke them and changed them... He shuddered, the image of that grotesque appendage reaching for him returning to mind, so intent on murder and death. "Um... at least... we're much better off than something I--" Charlie began to say, wanting to finally tell the other what he'd seen, but stopped when he heard another voice. Looking around, he noticed Ollie, and smiled slightly in greeting, waving in a friendly manner "Hi, Ollie~!" He smiled at the Ram, quickly regaining his happy aura. Beckett informed them of what they'd be doing, and the Rabbit nodded eagerly, saying "Yeah, come with us~! It would be rude to shoo you away right now anyway." Charlie listened for the response when the question about the others was asked. Yeah, it wouldn't be the best to have all the Zodiac collected in one spot. It would probably end up like the park again, with all of their energies in one spot, and that would be disastrous. "Let's make tracks then," he suggested to the other two "Before everyone decides they want to come with us, yes?"

|| Cora || Dog || 19 || Female ||
|| Core is tall in human standers by being 6'2" in height. She has dark strawberry blonde hair that is slightly wavy and almost always hangs loosely to her mid back. Her eyes are a bit weird because her right eye is a brown-green hazel while her left eye is a cloudy blue; she has always been blind in this eye. ||
|| Animal Form- Cora actually tends to look like a husky/wolf hybrid, her fur is mainly white with really light brown/cream husky marks. Her eyes are icy blue almost white looking. |
|| Beastial Form- In this form She actually looks somewhat the same seeing as she is the 'Dog' but the differences are that she also looks like the werewolves of legend. Probably how the legend got started. Her eyes also become a darker shade of blue almost coming off as violet.||
|| Powers- She can manipulate the memories of people if she is in those memories. She can also read a person's emotion's(empathy) this also gives her limited abilities over controlling their emotions. ||
|| She is shy and quiet at first but once she warms up to anyone she is quite the person to be around and is a loving person. She will protect those she cares for down to the last breath. She does overwork herself and is almost always sick because of this and will just push herself more. She has a soft spot for animals and will always help any of them. ||
|| doesn't know yet || N/A for now ||
(Sorry it took so long to get this to you. Also, I modeled her animal form after my puppy so if you want a picture I have plenty.)

Leaning forward with a slightly quirked eyebrow, Beckett had only hummed lightly at the question as he tapped the Rabbit on the tip of his nose. “That’s quite sweet of you, but I’ll be all right. You don’t need to worry so much.” Goodness, the poor Rabbit really did look exhausted - he could see it written even more clearly with the shortened distance. Once they got back the Dragon was determined to let the Rabbit rest.
The greeting his two companions shared gave him a chance to reflect, briefly, on the words Charlie had said. Destroy themselves… was what he’d said, hadn’t he? Watching the few people mutter a few things on their phone and the dogs skip around the legs of their owners, Beckett only shook his head to the side to himself. Perhaps. He’d always thought that in the process of trying to save themselves from the inevitable fates that loomed across them, they were prone to eventually destroying themselves and those around them. They would do anything to live - to obtain what most mattered to them. But it seemed that Charlie had some faith in them - that they would be able to coexist somehow together if they tried. Beckett, on the other hand, had lost most of the little trust he had. In his eyes, humans were the most complicated yet simple and unpredictable, yet predictable creatures of them all. He did, however, smile a little at Charlie’s comment about buying everyone at once. He'd rather have no freedom than to have it in his grasp if the others could not harness it.
In any case, the Rabbit had been trying to say something, and the atmosphere that had been surrounding Charlie had seemed to shift when they had been speaking of the nature of these inhabitants of the world. Whatever Charlie had been trying to say, it must have been important - and something that had been bothering him for a while. Pulling his gaze away to scan their surroundings, Beckett made a mental note that he’d gently bring the subject up later on when given the chance. If something was bothering the youthful Sign and he’d been willing to share it, he was more than willing to listen. If Charlie didn’t want to speak of it, however, he wouldn’t push the Rabbit to do so. He didn’t want the sanguine Sign to feel more pressured than he already seemed to be.
“A track?” He repeated with a slight tilt of his head. Leaning his weight on one foot and letting his hand rest on his waist and no longer in his pocket, Beckett’s lips curved once more. “Enlighten us with your idea.”

ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ @animefreak (I'm allergic to work, but at least it gets done x3 And don't worry, I like your replies x3 Here's mine, but I suppose we can chat until Anime replies) "Not familiar with the saying?" Charlie asked Beckett "Make tracks. Get going, if you may, so we don't draw the other Signs to us. Let's make tracks behind us and speed it up. Sorry if I wasn't clear? My mind tends to be in more than one place at once." After, he managed a smile that could be considered nervous. Poor thing lost the chance to bring up what he'd wanted to say. Not that Ollie coming into view had anything to do with it. Running a hand through his blonde hair, he added "To hurry would be ideal... wouldn't it? Best get back to hiding as soon as possible. You never know when the monsters will come." After that, one would notice he was a little more... tense? Still incredibly happy and such, but not one hundred percent. Shaking his head a little, he murmured, so quiet you had to stain to hear it "I need to rest..." Not sleep though. He already had enough sleep, which was a realm of horrors. He was drawn from his thoughts when he felt the vibrations of another aura. Looking around, he took notice of a sound. Two loud, powerful beats of wings. He immediately thought of the flightless wings of the rooster, but only saw a crow. The small bird ruffled its wings, which made nearly no sound. Gently moving his foot at it, a brow raised when it didn't fly off like the usual bird. Some birds were bold, but how this one was acting was... different. It just... sat there, still as a rock. Charlie took a second to examine the little bird's soul. To see what made it so brave to just sit and stare. A second later, he shrieked in surprise, nearly jumping out of his skin. The bird squawked and flew off finally, like a normal bird. The Rabbit (good thing no one had been looking that exact moment) changed shape, and curled up into a little brown ball, hiding his face with his paws. He trembling like crazy, muttering "It's fine, it's fine... I'm fine..." Goodness, what he'd give for some red velvet anything right now. The taste comforted him at any time he was eating it. He needed to say something, out loud, but didn't want to raise his voice and risk attracting attention. Tapping Beckett with a paw frantically, he looked up with wide black eyes, ears flat against his head and nose twitching like crazy. The Rabbit needed to speak, needed to tell them something. About the bird. The bird... it... Charlie shivered, little body quivering. Now was a good time to bring up what he'd wanted to say earlier, because that... thing from the park... and the bird... he jumped a little as crowe called from above, but after searching their auras, he didn't pick up on what he'd seen. He didn't relax though, pretty much hugging and clinging to Beckett's foot until he was picked up. (OKAY. Plot idea x3 Maybe, since what the government is doing isn't working, they send out something like the Zodiac to hunt them and return them? Like a mutant of sorts made from what energy they took from them already? Which is what Charlie is seeing right now?? The outcome of it could go anywhere x3)

( gah thank you ;v; nutella is good. speaking of which we don't really get much of those and we don't have reese or mars bars. pop tarts are pretty rare too
sounds lovely c; hmm plot idea, plot idea... for now i think that we can see where this goes and then continue it off from there (?) - depending on what happens with this right now i feel like the plot may change (maybe the crow either goes back and alerts their whereabouts (which would probably result in them moving or something of that sort... or maybe someone has a connection to a person who can hide them for a while from the eyes of the town) or it returns later and changes (or just simply changes soon) into something destructive that they have to fight off and distract before it reaches their hideout(?) sorry they aren't really good ideas - i'll try to come up with some later it's 3am now so my brain isn't functioning very well x~x )

ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ(Reese and Mars Bars are awesome, but pop tarts are gross (in my opinion.) My favorite treat is red velvet ;v; And there's plenty of it where I am! The crow, actually, is the mutant >:3 Which is why Charlie got so scared of what he saw in its soul. I do like your ideas though, so we may use them later! X3 Yet, like you said, we'll wait to see how it goes, how they interact with the crow-mutant thing x3)

oh ! i know - that's why i said maybe it can turn into smth destructive soon ovo i just listed some of the things it could (possibly) do because i'm not entirely certain of what it does but yes we'll see where this will lead us to )

Beckett The small outburst caught the Dragon off guard this time. With his brown eyes widening just a little he glanced up just in time to catch sight of the crow, its beady black eyes gleaming. For some odd reason, there was something peculiar about it that made it feel… off. It felt as if an ice-tipped needle were brushing against the back of his neck, and though he couldn’t be absolutely certain, the black eyes of the crow seemed to hold mirthless laughter that mocked the very essence of life. Never mind that for the moment - his attention was drawn back to the small bundle of shivering fur that was frantically tapping him with his tiny paw. After giving Ollie a glance, just to make sure that the Ram hadn’t suddenly disappeared by the hands of those men and women or something of that sort (with all the new gadgets and technology they had it felt like they’d be able to snatch one of them up in thin air at any minute) Beckett crouched down and scooped the little creature up in his hands, careful not to drop him.
“Charlie, it’s all right - breathe. Think of red velvets.” He said with his eyebrows furrowing a little, fearing that the Rabbit would faint. Some degree of his usual humour faded from his expression, though when he regarded the frightened eyes of the youthful Sign, he made sure that a little bit of the same, familiar mischievousness and warmth lingered in his own calm gaze. Other than the vibe that crow had given him, Charlie had reacted to the bold bird’s appearance and had been staring at it before he’d transformed. Whatever it was, it couldn’t be good. “Is it something about those birds?” Hopefully they weren't some gigantic beasts that were eager to tear them apart, right? Apprehension gyrated in his stomach, though his expression did not change or indicate the thoughts that flashed past his head.
Facing Ollie once more, he indicated the much smaller street wedged in between the buildings to the Ram, gesturing for them to move. At least they’d be able to run if they had to and not scatter blatantly out on the much vaster streets where there were other people who could and would be dragged into whatever mess would be created - he was aware of where the empty alleyways and paths would lead. Hopefully whatever these things were, they weren’t aware of the exact location of their small and now possibly temporary home. His first priority was to keep Ollie and Charlie safe. To keep everyone safe.

ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ Charlie was heaving and hitching in breath, his tiny chest puffing up. His eyes were wide and fearful, trying to calm himself. After a few minutes of his soft suffering, he finally calmed himself, breathing slowing down a little. "J-Just the one b-bird... its soul. It was... so large. Huge, and... familiar. That's what I was trying to bring up earlier... I'd felt that aura before. It was... immense, vengeful and scary. When we were... at the park, something nearly caught me, and its aura was just like that." Looking around, he half expected it to show itself. For once, even in his current form, he solidly showed something besides his happy personality. Still shaking, he became quiet as he recalled memories. "It... here's what happened." And with that, Charlie began to tell a small story that painted the images of a small episode for Beckett and Oliver. A little blonde rabbit was hopping about a park, having his fun in the time to relax. Going off on his own, he found some small rocks to play with by some bushes. He stopped though, when something spoke."My, my, what a smart bunny. You're treating those rocks like dolls."The rabbit looked to the bushes, seeing a pair of milky white eyes peering from the shadows. "H-Hello," the rabbit spoke. He didn't bother hiding, as the newcomer seemed to know he wasn't a normal animal. "What's your name?""Kronos.""Nice to m-meet you, Kronos. I-I'm Charlie. Why are you hiding in the bushes?""Not many people like to see me. They only like me when I'm a good boy.""Well... regardless of looks," The rabbit said "No one can get to know you if you're hiding. So, come out? Are you scared?" He giggled at the end."I'm not afraid.""Then come out.""Then you'll be afraid."The rabbit's ears drooped, but then he took a hop toward the bush curiously. Yet, he paused when the change in aura rang out, jolting like a person who was scared of being neared. The rabbit actually screamed in surprise when a blackened, grotesque hand lashed out at him, barely escaping the appendage."And then the government jumped us all," Charlie finished, nose twitching. He was still shaking, but at least he wasn't panicking anymore. What he wanted most was to change back, but he couldn't. One, because he'd be wearing absolutely nothing. And two, he didn't know where his clothes were. Looking up at Beckett and Ollie, he decided with an unsure look "I think we should be okay though... I don't sense any others who are looking to capture us... if we were all this off guard, and they'd wanted to, they would've by now." So that bird was simply watching them. Why, he wasn't sure. If the monsters weren't near it, then maybe the thing was an escapee? There was the possibility it could've been a coincidence that the strange being and the government were both in the same place at the same time. An unlikely one, but still very possible. "I just... none of you... understand. This is what I saw." The rabbit hopped up so he was on Beckett's shoulder, almost misjudging and sliding off. Steadying himself, he pressed a tiny to the side of the Dragon's head. With Charlie's clairvoyance came the power to let others feel soul wavelengths. He didn't get the power when mimicking, just the ability to show it for future reference. Upon touching the other's head, Beckett was now able to get a look at what Charlie saw, the truly massive soul, the despair and vengefulness and viciousness of it. Charlie would show Ollie, but he'd for sure misjudge his hop and fall to his tiny death on the ground. Taking his paw away, he wobbled a little on the other's shoulder. "Can we... can we just get to where we need to go?" Charlie asked hopefully "I don't want to stay in this area for long..."

[ shoot. i'm here now. i definitely was not watching anime all day. i like that idea, smokey. also oops. this is a mess. ]
"Sorry, Charlie." Was all Oliver said when he noticed he interrupted the rabbit. Hopefully it hadn't been anything of importance. He glanced up at Beckett, seeing if his face betrayed anything—concern or worry, or frustration—but of course, if Ollie couldn't even potray his own emotions properly, there was no way he was any good at seeing other people's. Dissatisfied as he was, he didn't dwell.
Oliver pretended to ponder on the dragon's invitation. It would probably cost him his life to run back in there right after slamming his door. He was willing to bet money that any sleeping Zodiacs had roused quick at such a bang. Besides, he too was running low on 'supplies'. Much like his animal spirit, he had a habit of chewing on things: particularly bubblegum.
"If I have permission, I don't see a reason not to." Another one of his uncharacteristic half-smiles was painted onto his face, albeit fleetingly. The little scare he had only moments ago must have thrown him off more than he'd thought. "And no. I do believe that the others are still asleep, although I'm sure they'll wake soon enough."
He was about to voice his agreement with Charlie's suggestion of getting going, but promptly shut his mouth again as the rabbit started looking around. He followed his gaze to the crow. It seemed...nice. What was so interesting about it? Ollie brushed it off as merely Charlie being Charlie, and how he seemed to communicate with plants and animals with his clairvoyance. He almost expected the smaller man to bend down and give the black bird a pat on the head and a greeting. Being so convinced that it was okay, he nearly had a heartattack when he heard the shriek.
Now, as a man who had great difficulty understanding his own emotions, he was no good at the whole 'supporting others' in that department. That was why Ollie felt very relieved that the bunny ran for Beckett, and not him. His brown eyes darted back to where the crow was. Had it flown away? He hadn't even noticed. What about it had been so terrifying to the fellow Zodiac? Finally, he looked back to his companions.
Ollie chose to remain quiet as Beckett attempted to comfort the rabbit, but he watched the two intently. He felt...out of place. With no way to offer help to Beckett or Charlie, he felt his anxiety begin skyrocketing once more, and a feeling of uselessness hang over his head. The blonde man continued his silence as they went into the alleyway, too, no matter how much he yearned to say something that would help the situation.
And he thought things were awkward before.
Oliver did not speak as Charlie told his story, either, though he did believe he was shaking just a bit throughout it. He didn't speak again, actually, until Charlie requested they got going.
"Would you rather go back and get dressed first?" He queried, hating how unsure his voice sounded. He straightened his back a little, and furrowed his brow—as if faking confidence might make Ollie actually regain some.
