For an update of the plot, ask people! It would really just be an powers rp with people who have the spirits of the Chinese Zodiac in them. I don't a detailed plot yet, but maybe something can be hunting them? The classic plot to capture them and use their power for whatever reason?? The spirits are ancient and old, so they'd maybe even be reincarnations of gods? The government maybe took them as children from their families and experimented on them for a number of years :3 If you're interested, I'd love to talk and give the plot more detail! And, there can also be more than one plot going on at one time! Here are my requirements: Follow forum rules, be LGBT+ friendly, and be on the active side (unless you give an excuse.) For a post length, I want at least a paragraph's worth of material please. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dragon {Leadership} (M) ( ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ ) Tiger {Strength} (M) Rabbit {Youth} (M) ( Smokey Feather ) Ox {Determination} (M) Ram {Invincibility} (M) Horse {Endurance} (F) Rat {Intelligence} (M) ( Smokey Feather ) Rooster {Loudness} (F) Monkey {Flexibility} (F) Dog {Unrelenting} (F) Snake {Hypnotic} (F) Boar {Stubborn} (F) To claim, fill this out (Doesn't have to be long) : || Name || Spirit || Age (17+ pls) || Gender || || Human Description || || Animal Form (They use this to blend in as animals and hide from their captors. Their godly aura disappears in this form) || || Beastial Form (This is the form that got the attention of their captors. Big, mighty and powerful. To help, make it look like a werecreature, unless it's the Dragon) || || Powers (Three max. Shapeshifting is not included in this list.) || || Personality || || Sexuality || Crush (optional) || ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Each Sign can shapeshift into the select forms already described, but upon shapeshifting they lose their clothes and must retrieve them. No two Zodiac can have the same power. Click the spoiler for the list of unavailable powers) Healing others, teleportation, nature manipulation, clairvoyance, energy manipulation, fortune manipulation, telepathy, conscious projection || Charlie || The Rabbit || 21 y/o || Male || || A 5'5 height with fair, near porcelain skin except for a scar on his jawline, a slightly jagged, two inch long line. He's topped with blonde hair, the lighter shade matching nicely with his skin color. And, Charlie has brown eyes a lighter shade of brown, with a few darker flecks. Oh, and his eyes are big and round, that make one think about a puppy. For a figure, he's rather slender and doesn't have an insane amount of muscles, and tends to suggest a feminine body, but he doesn't complain or protest. Overall, he looks much younger than he actually is, yet he only admits his age when people ask. || || Animal Description || || Beastial Form is a huge, 15'7 foot tall, anthropomorphic rabbit. A lean figure covered in white fur and brown splotches. His eyes are dark black orbs, and he has a small, pink nose. His legs are form of strong, muscular haunches with legs that can carry him far in one leap. Large, elongated feet that can kill you if they hit full force. || || Charlie is sweet, friendly and always willing to be out and about. He's an absolute sweetheart and has never gotten truly angry. He never has a reason to, even after being mistreated for years. It's just always been a thought to try and be nice. And it just makes him even happier when others are nice back. However, if you try to compliment or flirt with him, he becomes super shy and flustered. It's quite cute to watch. Anyway, overall, he's a friendly soul who will show no mercy to all, no matter what. He's like the peacekeeper of the Zodiac, and the cheerleader of the group, because he's the most cheerful and energetic out of the Twelve Signs. || || Powers: Teleportation, nature manipulation and has the ability to see and handle energies/souls. || || Homosexual || Crush: None yet ||
|| Beckett || The Dragon || 26 || Male || Perhaps one of the most noticeable aspects of this man are his eyes. They’re dark pools of warm brown that seize the depth of many untold tales, never quite expressing too much. Tousled, inky black hair falls over his lashes. Slim with an almost bird-like physique, Beckett is a pale and tall man who carries himself with an easygoing atmosphere encircling him, though there’s a twinge of mystery to him even when he truly seems genuine with his words. While he is able to fight to some extent in his human form and is quick on his feet, because of his physique, he is easily overwhelmed by much more muscular or larger opponents. || || He changes into a Bearded Dragon, which he tries to avoid transforming into as much as possible. || || Wisps of gray unfurl from the tail of the sleek silver dragon like the feathers of a peacock, which has a long, serpentine body and outstretched, curling deer-like antlers. The dragon is massive, and depending on the perspective, his silver scales may gleam sharper than any gilded armor, or gently ripple like the water of a serene lake. A closer inspection at his eyes reveals that they, despite the shift in color, still belong to Beckett. Almond shaped, they reflect a familiar warmth, golden like antique gems, yet much bolder, much brighter. Rather than appearing dominant and seemingly omnipotent, the dragon is slender, graceful, and possesses a certain quiet strength. || || Apart from being able to see very far into the distance, he is also able to paralyze those who he sees (they do not necessarily have to look at his eyes). However, this ability is known to be a double-edged sword. Severe repetition of this ability will cause his eyesight to decline until he is completely blind. He also has the ability to physically heal others, with the cost of his own wellbeing. Both abilities, with their consenquences, require him to take caution of when and where to use them. || || Where am I to start with this peculiar man? Beckett is quite a mystery. His true intentions are never all that clear unless he reveals them beforehand, and while he appears to be easy to approach due the effortless curve of his lips and light-hearted laugh, something about him sets a distance from those he speaks with. On the surface, Beckett may even seem lazy and almost too laid-back. Even so, if he has a job that needs to be done (or if he has his mind set on a plan), he will finish it before it is due. Certain situations give glimpses into what could be a much more serious (sometimes even sinister) side of his character, which often catch most people off guard. Despite this, Beckett is a very open-minded individual who is prone to listening to others. While his somewhat distant and lone nature may come off as dismissive from time to time, Beckett genuinely tries to be considerate of others and cares deeply for those who have earned his trust, as he is more than willing to lend his shoulder for others to lean against. In any case, he seems to enjoy teasing (and flirting with) some individuals in particular, especially those who have a greater reaction. If you suddenly find yourself being called by this quick-witted and whimsical man urgently (not to mention even gravely), only to be asked if you want to go and grab a snack together, don’t be too bemused. This is the kind of guy who even seems to enjoy crafting bad situations for himself in the first place - he’s full of unexpected surprises. || || Bisexual || N/A ||
|| Shu (Rat) || The Rat || 27 || Male || || A tall, 5'11 height. He has smooth white skin, and a body of lean muscles. His hair is an ivory black, and goes down to just past his mid back, and he usually keeps it in a fishtail braid. Eyes are a stunning gray to match his dark hair nicely. His body is mostly undamaged, except for his right hand. All the fingers are missing to just past the first knuckle. So, he wears one of these on each nub to make it look like a hand, except there's an underside added. It's a good thing he writes with his left!|| || Animal Form || || His Beastial Form is 20 feet in height. || || Shu, centuries ago, was put in charge of the world's knowledge and fate. His powers include conscious projection (can see into past, anywhere in the present, and future), telepathy and fortune manipulation (he can't manipulate the fortune of other Zodiac though.) || || Shu is usually calm and collected, and always quite relaxed. No one has ever seen him scare because he always has an idea about what's to come. He can't officially say he does, because everything is always subject to change. If he is for sure on something though, even before it happens, he will not budge. When he was first created, the creator of the Zodiac put him in charge of recording history. Chronicling everything became his job, and it still is. His powers to view the past helped as well. Shu will spare no one, honestly, if it means his own benefit. That's why he left the Zodiac when they all saw fit in leaving their master. And where did he end up? In the clutches of the government, but not to be tortured. No... Shu bargained with the monsters, because that's what he does best. Deal making. If not for endless knowledge, humans would not even be able to contain the Zodiac. That's another trait of the Rat. He is the smartest out of all the Zodiac, and among the smartest beings in the history of... everything. Ask him something, and he has an answer. Yet, he is cunning and a gifted strategist, which is why the others haven't discovered his traitorous acts yet. || || Bisexual (leans toward males) || TBR ||

(( aaa thank you c;
so from what i can gather... these characters are the reincarnations of gods who are being hunted down by the government, right..(?)i know you said that you don't have a detailed plot but i feel like that's where this may be going (correct me if i'm wrong though) ))

(( ahh i see i see c; hmmm... i'll have to think a little more on ideas but i do have a few questions! i'm guessing that they already have escaped the government/where they have been being experimented (again please tell me if that's incorrect xux) in that case, where are they currently in the rp? do they have a small hideout that they live in after they escaped or are they constantly moving from one small place to another? ))

( ahh okay okay sounds good cx oo i like that idea maybe when they're driven out, they're forced to split up (and probably end up in pairs or in a group of three) because it was so sudden and so unexpected at that point in the story - that way the characters have time to become much more closer as they try to regroup and be depressed together..(?) )

( i just went ahead and described the hideout but if it's different from what i've described, please tell me! i'll go back and fix it c: )
He would remember, sometimes. The feeling of waking up in a dreary gray room alone, noticing the strange churn of apprehension in his stomach and shaking his head to the side to ignore the faint pressure that pressed down on his shoulders. These memories would simply be a blur of colors over a canvas with undefined lines, but the specific memories would never quite be forgotten. It was like a leaking faucet, dripping with substance that he did not want. The frightening pain of knowing that he could not see anything, yet still felt that some mortal injury was being done. How he had thought that, at the time, every inch of himself was being wrenched apart with his joints tearing. Were the others going through the same thing? The thought had, despite the white-hot knife of agony he’d received, never drifted away from his mind. He wasn’t planning to let it wander, either.
Everything before the memory of the gray metallic walls was foggy, as if the corners of his vision had been smudged, and he could only faintly pick up on the words of what had been spoken. Opening his dark, dark brown eyes, Beckett let a small sigh escape his lips as his hand ran through his tousled inky hair. Leaning back in his seat, he let his gaze rest on the ceiling for a while before he let his gaze wander over his surroundings. The high-pitched screech of the sirens from the past died down, as his mind was hauled back to the present. His shoulders loosened at the realisation. It wasn’t the best place in the entire world with its creaking floors, but it was much more favourable than the harsh white tiles and perfectly symmetrical environment they had fled from.
After washing his face and loosely tying his hair, he opened the window, which was letting sunlight seep in, and stretched his stiff arms. It was rare for anyone to see him with his hair styled in the manner as it was now, since he usually only did so when he was eating or reading something with incredible focus, though at times he would go ahead and tie it in the morning just to keep his aching neck free from his dark locks. Rubbing the back of his neck, he winced a little when he felt the sharp sting grow. He'd gone ahead and done it again - falling asleep in the chair tucked behind the old wooden desk rather than on the bed. Paper was draped over its surface, and he eyed the sheets with a certain distasteful (but non-serious) glint in his brown eyes.
He then let his eyes travel over to his door, and he tipped his head just the slightest bit to the side. Sometimes the lock didn't work - he'd had someone barge in once in the morning and was faintly worried that it wouldn't work today either, though he quickly shrugged the idea off. He wasn't too bothered or worried whenever someone slipped into his room - it wasn't that big of a deal. Besides, considering the amount of time they had spent together both in and out of the perimeter of their original "home"... well, he'd learned that privacy was a little hard to keep.

ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ( No it's all wrong redo it ew) (It's good x3 Now, pardon my lame reply ;_; I'm busy rn and it was rushed. I sowwy ;u;) Sleep. It always had to be during sleep, in his dreams. That's where his cries of pain could be heard. His whines as the scientists probed, cut and defiled him. Yet, he managed to contain himself from yelling and screaming while he slept, so no one could hear his horrors. Little Charlie would still squirm though, and release soft mewls in his sleep as he tossed and turned. Sometimes the others would ask why he would make noise in his sleep, but he's always smile and say it was nothing. No, he'd never tell anyone what he went through. Never recall the pristine walls, the tables and tools. The cutting, burning and mutilation. If he were not the youthful rabbit spirit, he would not be able to remove the horrors and scars from his souls. If they'd all still been on his body, he'd look like a mangled mess. That was a benefit of the Rabbit though. He looked much younger than his twenty one years, and didn't keep a scar unless he wanted to. He whined again aloud, but in his dreaming it was raw screams and cries. As the animals cut him to pieces, wrote notes and repeated, they did nothing to help his suffering. Most gods would wish damnation upon such demons, but not him. Not sweet Charlie. It must be something he did, right? Something all the Signs did to earn such torture? So, no. He never tried to truly resist. Not even when they drove shunts into his skull and cut his limbs to extract his narrow brutally. The Rabbit cried out softly upon finally waking up, sweating and heart racing. Quivering, he rested his head in his hands as he sat up, running his hands down his face. Big brown eyes looked around, taking in the sights. It wasn't the labs or the cells. He was back in their current reality. Running a hand through his messy blonde hair, he whined softly as he sat in his bed. Perhaps it was the fear of being caught that caused him to have such tortuous nightmares. Still shaking slightly, he got out of bed, dressed in only shorts, and stretched. Of course, he was near flawless, except that one slice on his jaw. His muscles twitched slightly as they were stretched, Charlie sighing in content. Already was he recovering, acting as if he'd never had the dreams he did. It was needed for him to remain happy and cheerful, so he could always be the good luck charm for the rest of the Signs. Staying dressed as he was, he preened himself a little so he wouldn't start the day smelly and gross. That was unacceptable for someone like him. After he'd cleaned himself, he went to go lurk in what was considered the living room, too lazy to think about making breakfast just yet. Throwing himself on one of the old couches, he practically purred at the soft feeling, spreading himself across the entire length like a lazy feline. Yet, he didn't fall asleep. He never fell asleep during the day, not wanting the others to hear his distress more than usual, which was close to never. Now settled on the couch, the half dressed Sign just closed his eyes to doze, relaxing. No one could ever sneak up on him while conscious. Charlie could see and smell souls even with closed eyes as long as he was awake. When he was conscious, aware of his surroundings and aware that he was away from the vicious experimenting, he was happy. Always smiling and giggling and blushing, because he knew the other Signs wouldn't torture him like the government did. Wouldn't treat him like an animal or some lowly specimen. Eyes becoming half-lidded, he looked lazily about the room, at the old... everything pretty much. He didn't mind though. He never did, because anything was better than daily torment and fearing. Charlie shuddered slightly at the thought, a small noise of distress leaving him before closing his eyes again, trying to calm himself. The others should be waking up soon. Talking to them always made him feel better, because he could make them feel better. Seeing them like family, even though he didn't always get along with some of them, he made sure to always try and keep them happy while they were in his presence. The idea made him smile as he dozed, and the Rabbit truly looked relaxed as he stayed spread out on the couch, mind full of happy thoughts now to start out the day.

( gahh sorry for being unable to reply! i fell asleep without even realizing it x~x and no need to apologize! the post looks wonderful smokey c: hopefully you'll excuse mine haha ;; )
Picking up a few of the sheets placing them near the corners of the table, he only tilted his head to the side. No matter how massive or powerful they could be, in a world like this where eyes always seemed to be watching and the slightest mischief would set people in a frenzy, it always seemed like they were never truly those who wielded the strength that those men and women had sought after so desperately. They still had to earn enough to stay - it was quite mundane, contradictory to the creatures that lurked within themselves. Deciding that it would be better to clear his mind for now outside his room, Beckett only dragged his hand through his hair as he let his thoughts briefly wander. Besides, if breakfast wasn’t made sooner or later, someone was bound to make a fuss. Ah, well, that was to be expected though, wasn’t it? He wished that he had the ability to make delicious dishes out of thin air and offer them on the table - and with that thought came a small twinge of guilt.
Dark locks of his hair fell over his eyes as he lowered his head a bit in thought. If he’d learned anything, it was that the rabbit was usually one of the earliest Signs to be awake down in the living room (at least what they all had agreed to call it). An image of the sunny smile flickered past his head - a sad and lovely face filled with brightness that he, while he had never admitted it before out loud, was something that a part of him admired. Around the youth, harnessed joy seemed to push aside any darker pools of emotions and thoughts. How was he able to do so even after the torment he had been put through?
Sometimes Beckett would worry that Charlie was straining himself - after all, it was never easy not getting angry from time to time or always trying to support others with a constant smile. At least, for him that rang true. In his mind, strength wasn’t all about being able to wield scorching fire or being able to crush others with the smallest snap of their fingers. In his mind, those who could put on a smile, one that truly came from the bottom of their hearts (unlike those he, himself, who quite often smiled with the intention to conceal more than to reveal), even in the darkest times or even just on a normal basis, were oftentimes the strongest people. Those who were able to lift another individual’s spirits constantly even when they had been through so much were the people who had not only earned his respect but also his trust.
Spotting the young, vibrant Sign sprawled out over the couch and his dozing face, Beckett only quirked an eyebrow to himself, his expression touching a mixture of troubled amusement and an emotion that couldn’t quite be described with words. Because, well.. because as he’d thought, Charlie was here before the others as usual, and looking quite content. Reaching out with his musician-like hand, he gently brushed aside a pale stray strand of the rabbit’s hair hair away from his face and let a small “good morning” leave his lips. He’d been meaning to greet the younger Sign with a casual series of light-hearted teasing, but seeing him like this… in the case that the rabbit truly had once again fallen asleep on the couch, he didn’t want to wake him with a start.

ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛ (It's okay x3 And, I like your replies! :3) One of his big brown eyes opened just as Beckett finished saying good morning. Charlie had picked up on his aura long before he even got close. He'd just wanted the other to pay him attention. Rolling onto his back and stretching dramatically, he yawned what sounded like "morning" but came out as "mernern..." The younger male stayed on the couch, but did sit up, managing one of his signature smiles of pure adorable. Yet, he looked tired. Last night's nightmares were put on triple, so he wasn't back at his best just yet. Just thinking about it, caused a flicker of fear to cross him. It was so fast, that it looked like he was just pulling an odd face, but he never made faces like that. Yet, it was gone as quick as it came, and his happy returned. Hopping up from the couch, he asked "Are you making breakfast? Do you need anything grown?" As usual, he was already offering to help, even if Beckett wasn't the one making breakfast. It was always what Charlie did. Needed help cleaning? He was the one to start. Needed a cheer up from a bad day? He always found something to say. Even even you didn't need anything, he would still be there like the cheerleader he was. Leaving the couch, ran off to where the kitchen was, already poking around. Maybe he looked it, maybe he didn't, but Charlie was obsessed with cooking, especially if he grew some of the ingredients himself. It as also a way to make others smile. He could recall, when they were all trapped, that a smile was a rare thing when coming from the others. He'd always be smiling of course, when not being ripped into and cut apart, but the others never did. Even even the Rabbit tried to cheer them up, if only a little bit, it never worked. And then he'd cry for a while, until the animals came for him again, or someone else. It hurt just as much, knowing where the other Signs were headed. The memories made him sad in the inside, but not the outside. Glancing back from looking around, he did so to make sure Beckett was coming over as well. "How was your sleep?" He finally asked casually before turning back to his task of nosing around. Charlie always asked how the others slept, because their dreams were almost always better than his. Sure, that didn't mean they didn't have nightmares, but the other Signs didn't bottle up and hide such things like he did. Didn't save it until they were in defenseless sleep, like he did. Yet, there he was, smiling and giving off that vibrant aura of comfort. Beckett was right to suspect he strained himself, because he did. Ever since he started becoming the Zodiac's mascot. He didn't want anyone to see him have a breakdown, or for any of them to have breakdowns. All because of petty creatures called humans. The Zodiac had human forms, yes, but they were far from being truly human. If given the time and freedom, an individual Zodiac could develop powers and an aura that could swallow the solar system like a gumball. Be the true gods they were, like back before mankind thought they needed to inherit the earth. Charlie tilted his head, having lost himself at "gumball." He whined aloud, saying "I want candy." Unfortunately, he ate the last of the candy they had yesterday. Meh. He'd just go out and get more, cautiously of course. They all had to be careful when out in public, because one never knew where the monsters were hiding, waiting to snatch them up. There had been a very close call, in a park a few years ago. He'd been with a few of the other Signs when some government folk came up and tried to nab them. That was the first time he'd ever... unbottled. Unbottled all that fear, harsh memories and... anger. In his beastial form, Charlie had enough strength in one hand to crush diamonds. Imagine how easy it would be for him to descend upon human bones. The other Signs had been to busy to see it though, and he hid his mess so they wouldn't ever notice it. He was supposed to be the happy one! Not the scary one. The thought of it made him twitch, tears threatening to show, yet he wiped his face, managing to pass it off as a scratch as not to raise questions. "We're running low on... er... everything?" He decided, easily taking inventory "There's enough for breakfast, but then we'll need to head out and restock." And that meant more treats! His eyes practically sparked at the idea, and he squealed softly, having an obsession with any kind of treat really (he had an obsession with red velvet anything.) "I know I can grow stuff," he continued in a mutter, making a mental list "But what I can't... we need..." Charlie quickly developed a "thinking face", which consisted of pouting and slightly bent brows. Even though he acted oblivious half the time, he could actually get things done if he tried.

( aaa thank you xvx )
The strange look that crossed Charlie’s features didn’t go unnoticed by Beckett, whose eyebrows furrowed together just for a moment. The youth looked tired despite the smile that he displayed - the half moons underneath his eyes and the all to familiar look of exhaustion propelled by a long, sleepless night was something Beckett was used to. The slight mystifying curve of his lips pulled into a small frown at the sight of the weariness, and the warm amusement on his face in response to Charlie’s mumbled ‘morning’ faded from his eyes to shift into what seemed to border concern. He was about to tell the younger individual, with a small troubled tug of his lips, to rest for a while longer, though Charlie was already off to the kitchen before he could do so. The troubled tug of his lips still appeared anyway as he watched the younger Sign zip off.
As he followed behind, he heard the question and let mischievousness settle within his eyes. “Hm… My sleep?” He started as he let his hand rest on his chin thoughtfully, though it was clear that with his expression and the air that encircled him, he was being jocose like any other day. “I may or may not have dreamt of certain people and events.” Men and women who turned a bored eye at their suffering flickered past his mind. Shadows writhed around them, outstretching their stubby, greedy hands as they demanded for more and more and more until they could finally take nothing from their bent, battered forms. Instead of letting the mention of the memory touch the tip of his tongue, he quirked an eyebrow, his voice non-serious. “You, for example.” He knew that he was saying things that he normally wouldn’t - but this was the rabbit he was facing.
At the mention of candy and how low they were on their supplies, Beckett nodded his head with a small, light-hearted sigh and rested his hand on his forehead with a dramatic knit of his eyebrows. “We have quite a few who seem to love eating, after all.” There were those who lived to eat, and those who ate to live. He was closer the latter description; food, while he was careful to never leave anything on his plate unfinished, was not on his list of personal priorities. For his priority list for the group, however, it was there.
It was impossible to miss the twinkle in Charlie’s eyes when he mentioned restocking - no doubt the youth was thinking of sweets. Glancing over at the clock, which ticked softly at every passing second as the younger individual’s words trailed off, he briefly closed his eyes, as if he’d made up a decision in his head, and rested both of his hands on his waist. “Would you like to go and get them now?” The atmosphere around him shifted a little, and his brown eyes glimmered with mischief once again. “The others will be asleep for a while longer, and I’ve found just the place where they sell a whole bunch of treats.” It was true that he’d be slipping off and doing something again without informing most of the others, but it was also true that the time was just right for them to move around to avoid any potential prying eyes.

ᴄᴇʟʟɪsᴛHe listened curiously as the other responded, then pouted when said answer was vague. "It's good to be specific!" Charlie decided. When the other mentioned him, he blinked once. Even though Beckett was most likely kidding, it caused the Rabbit's cheeks to turn pink. Staying turned around as not to show it off too much, he could only manage "Er... interesting?" When conversions turned to him in any way, it was easy for him to get... nervous. Shy, was probably the better term to use. Anyway, at least Beckett had a better night than he did. Of course, the Rabbit could always just read souls to see what exactly he'd dreamt about, but he didn't do that to the other Signs. He made a vow not to, no matter what. Charlie had the ability to handle souls like a book draft. Able to physically handle them and "edit" them. Read them, put things in, out, etc. The animals knew this, and tried to get him to rip the other Signs' from their body. To kill them, and store the souls in a containment that had been created. He'd said no of course, and the others had to witness some of the torture he received. Only while they were back in the labs did the others get to hear the Rabbit's crying and screaming. So unlike the image he created now, as if he'd gone through none of it. When the Dragon mentioned those who liked eating, he was drawn from his thoughts and whined "But I can afford to! Look at me~!" That was true. Charlie was the most qualified to eat and treat himself however he wanted, because he could simply fix himself (it was difficult when the scientists would cut his limbs off though.) Even though he exercised, he didn't need to. Anything required to maintain a body was not necessary for him, but he still did it out of habit. Plus, it was fun to preen like a human. He liked to be the little peacock he was. Such a shame he'd never be able to attract a mate though. Not with the lives the Signs had, always ready to run off just in case the monsters came. He'd prefer to have a permanent home before thinking about such things. What they had now wasn't permanent. It just... wasn't, because Charlie could sense the monsters. They were always prowling around, an eye out for the Zodiac. Again, memories of the experiments arose, but instead, they were even worse. Possibilities after the monsters found them. Let out their rage on the Zodiac tenfold. At the horrors, he hitched in breath and he squeaked in terror before a "poof!" sounded out. And then he was gone. A tiny, blonde rabbit sat in his place, eyes wide. Charlie tended to shift involuntarily when he was super, super stressed or super flustered. He hopped a few paces, saying "Oh no! Wait, don't look at me~!" As this wasn't some movie or fantasy story, shapeshifting caused the Zodiac to loose their clothes (they showed up somewhere nearby the location they shifted in.) So they'd be bare upon changing back. The little bunny hid his face in his paws, then held one out to Beckett like a stop sign. And no, he wasn't dabbing. Whether the Dragon looked away or not, he moved to hop around, saying "I'm fine! I'm fine!" Even though he wasn't. Again, he only involuntarily shifted if it was a wave of whatever negative feeling. And the others knew this. Today just wasn't starting out like one of the good ones for Charlie, was it? Poor thing even crashed into Beckett's leg in his little, adorable panic, falling onto his back and landing dramatically spread out, little legs like a sea star. At the suggestion to go shopping, the cute animal sprang back up, deciding "Yes! Just... let me go get more clothes." He could find his first set of clothes later, as it was just easier to get a new set. The Rabbit hopped off, hind legs flicking out as he moved away. And, for whatever reason, he tripped over himself and landed on his face again, looking pathetic in a cute way as he just laid there. Getting back up, he muttered "I'm fine..." Good thing he left his door open, hopping into his room with ease. It took about five minutes before he walked out as a human again, dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. It was casual for someone like him (who preened more than a peacock), but it was morning and he was still exhausted from his nightmares. Stopping in front of Beckett, Charlie decided "Ready when you are!" He looked ready to go, especially at the possibility of getting more treats. Once again, one of his signature smiles appeared on his face as he looked up at the other Zodiac. It was smart, to go out early in the morning, where there were less eyes of any kind looking around. The Rabbit relaxed a little, but not too much. As well as the cheerleader, Charlie was also the Zodiac's clairvoyant, keeping an eye out for any bad souls (he could sense everyone within the large city), and it was his job to try and keep his friends from getting caught.
