!! SPOILERS !! The blurb includes major spoilers for "A Vision of Shadows" arc!! "A thrilling stand-alone adventure in Erin Hunter’s #1 nationally bestselling Warriors series! After suffering for so long under Darktail’s horrible reign, ShadowClan is struggling to rebuild. Tigerheart has always been a loyal ShadowClan warrior—but an omen from StarClan suggests that the only way for Tigerheart to help save his Clan may be to leave it, and the forest, behind. Set during the events of the current Warriors series, A Vision of Shadows, this Warriors Super Edition takes Tigerheart and the ThunderClan warrior Dovewing on a quest to save one of the proudest warrior Clans. This extra-long, extra-epic adventure follows in the bestselling paw steps of nine previous Warriors Super Editions—and features the fantastic, eye-catching repackaged series look! Bonus! Also includes an exclusive Warriors manga short story." I think that the cover looks nice, but that's not suprising since I like pretty much all of the new warriors covers since they're so pretty. But the thing that I really want to talk about is this sentance "Set during the events of the current Warriors series, A Vision of Shadows, this Warriors Super Edition takes Tigerheart and the Thunderclan warrior Dovewing on a quest to save one of the proudest warrior Clans."Yeah. I'm pretty sure that those who have read A vision of shadows up to this point know who "one of the proudest warrior Clans" is and why someone needs to save them. Not gonna lie, I'm not too happy about who's going to save Skyclan. Why? Well apart from the fact that I hate Tigerheart and Dovewing's relationship and I just dislike Tigerheart in general, I really thought, and wished, that the new characters (like Violetpaw, Twigpaw, Alderheart, Needletail, Sparkpelt...) would've been the ones in the spotlight. It's just that, Dovewing already had a whole series and a novella about herself and while this super edition will be in Tigerheart's point of view, it'll still be heavily focused on his and Dovewing's relationship. But anyways, what do you all think about this?

I like the cover and the idea that ThunderClan cats aren't hogging all the SEs. I'm mad, thou. Because I ship DovexBumble more than DovexTiger, plus this just really annoys me that one of the three is back in the spotlight AGAIN.

Tigerheart and Dovewing aren't saving SkyClan, they're saving ShadowClan. It says ShadowClan needs to be rebuilt and the proudest Warrior clan is ShadowClan, always has been. Alderheart and the other main characters will save SkyClan. I think this whole SE is filler that could have easily been avoided had they wrapped up Dovewing's relationship in OOTS, Dovewing's Silence, or Bramblestar's Storm. It's as if they were extending it JUST to write this SE, which could have been spent on a more interesting story. I like Kate's writing style best though so I do have faith that she will do a good job with this story even if it's one that we never needed. Aside from Bramblestar's Storm, all of the SE's have been very good.

uuuuuUUUUUUUGGHHHHH
WHY DO THEY REFUSE TO ABANDON THE WHOLE DOVEXTIGER THING
I know I don't read the series anymore but I still like to keep up with it. I think if the Erins would stop beating a dead horse with DovexTiger and actual develop Tiger rather than having his obsession with Dovewing be his defining trait this would be a fascinating Super Edition I might actually attempt to read. Not saying it won't be good but I still do not like the idea.

Hoo boy, here we go again. I guess I always thought WindClan as the proudest, but that's just Onestar I think

I'm looking forward to this SE and I love that it'll feature Tigerheart and Dovewing. It's a chance for them to finally properly work out their relationship and being away from the Clan for a while on a mission is a good opportunity for that. I do wonder how it'll be decided that they should go on this apparently important mission together.

Super Editions are always better than sub-series anyway.

Let's hope this will NOT start when he is a little kit..... It's half book wasted on kit talk and apprentice training.

I never got the feeling that "the proudest warrior Clan" is SkyClan; I think it's ShadowClan. I don't think Tiger and Dove are the ones going on the quest to save SkyClan.
Also the two adjectives for ShadowClan are "wily and proud", so there's another hint that the Clan they are saving is ShadowClan, not SkyClan.

Spoilers for those who haven't read SS Skyclan returns in the end of Shattered Sky and helps defeat Darktail, thus Skyclan doesn't need to be saved, as they saved the clans. it's most likely Shadowclan, but IDK why they are leaving...maybe there was an object that could help SHC or something? I don't get it either. What could possibly be outside the Clans that requires them to leave? I mean there's the Tribe...but I honestly don't know where they are going. I'm a little nervous because all of the books that focus on "these cats go on a quest!" (i.e. Midnight, Outcast, Fourth Apprentice...) have been extremely boring and just focus on them walking and it's the same thing every time: they need to cross thunderpaths, they see some type of odd creature they've never seen before (it's usually cows), the climax happens, and then something goes wrong and they need to return to the Clans. I'm just really tired of that trope tbh, and I hope this book doesn't end up like that.

I'm not sure how I feel about the BloodClan thing..

I think it's about the time they left the Clans for awhile in Shattered Sky. Well, it'll start with that.

I think it's about the time they left the Clans for awhile in Shattered Sky. Well, it'll start with that. they weren't gone that long and puddleshine has an omen. he wasn't with them in SS, so it has got to be after shattered sky. I don't remember any omen??? But it was set up for Tigerheart's Shadow to be happening there in the SS bonus scene.
