Not sure if this goes here please tell me if it doesn't and were it would go so I can correct it.
Wondering if it's only me but who else would like a little back story on Sol? I mean he is pretty much unknown. He hates the Clan cats cause on one Clan but doesn't say which. No one knows where he even came from.
He did have a big part up until the battle between the Dark Forest and the Clans. Maybe a short story on him before he came to the lake or a manga like the did with Scourge?

I wish we'd gotten his backstory in book form and not manga though. Sol is one of my favs and I would love to know more about him but I never got the chance to read the manga and getting it ordered around here is a lot harder than getting a book ordered... Plus, I don't really like the drawing style all that much...

Sol's backstory is explained in SkyClan and the Stranger mangas. Spoilers below, but basically... Sol is born to a single parent named Cinders, because his dad left them. Cinders told them stories about "sky warriors" which inspired Sol. One day, Cinders just abandoned her kits. An old lady took Sol in, and named him Harry. One day, Leafstar of SkyClan as trapped by the old lady and Sol helped her escape.
He came with her to SkyClan, and she named one of her sons Harrykit in his honor. Sol tried to train as a warrior, but he had no skills. And he doesn't follow the warrior code.
Leafstar's kits go missing, and it turns out Sol is behind it. He betrayed SkyClan because he couldn't be a warrior. Leafstar banishes him, and he leaves promising to get revenge

Thanks Twisterheart. Rainshadow I understand my own library ran out of funds last year so they could not get the books too. If I want to read the story I need to do a Inter-library Lown.

So Leafstar took the kits to the twolegplace and lost them? No, Sol actually stole them because he wanted to become a SkyClan warrior. When Leafstar told him to be patient, he took her kits and hid them, thinking that he could trick Leafstar into believing he found them that she would have to make him a SkyClan warrior.

That was a less then intelligent plan that Sol came up with. How would Sol plan on the good possibility that Leafstar's kits could very well rat him out to their mother?

I'm guessing his plan failed? How did that happen? Did the kits just tell Leafstar? Yeah, his plan definitely failed and it was because Leafstar saw Shrewtooth spying on Sol and followed the both of them to an abandoned Twoleg den and it's there where it's revealed that Sol stole the kits after Shrewtooth confronts him and realizes Sol was using leaves to smear on his fur so the Clan wouldn't recognize the kits' scent. They fight, the kits are reunited with the Clan, and Sol is then banished for his recklessness.

I know since in the main story lines when Lionheart/paw meets/finds him he dose everything in his power to make other's do his dirty work. Is he the one Midnight told all the Clan's secrets to?

Yeah, it's mentioned in Sunrise that Midnight told Sol everything about the Clans. And I think you mean Lionblaze, not Lionheart.

Right I could remember that last part of his name. Though I wasn't sure if it was Sol who she told I mean how would they meet and I don't remember if they explained her reasons why she told him. According to TUG, Midnight told Sol so much about the Clans because she already knew about the threat of the Dark Forest, and had sent Sol to test the warriors’ faith in their ancestors. She figured if they could survive him, then they could survive the threat of the Dark Forest as well.

Ahhh, then that was "Well played Midnight". A very smart plan. Then new question; Dose this mean that ShadowClan is the weakest clan out of the five Clans in their faith?

That would seem to be a matter of opinion, but considering all that happened to them, especially when Sol came to power... maybe?

I know they where quite strong in the beginning for Dawn of the Clan but it seams like that was their highest point. I mean those and the new books got when Rusty entered the forest has a huge gap but still.

Ahhh, then that was "Well played Midnight". A very smart plan. Then new question; Dose this mean that ShadowClan is the weakest clan out of the five Clans in their faith? It depends. I wouldn't call ShadowClan as a whole weak, but Blackstar at this point was old, Littlecloud was dying, etc. In a way, Sol was the tipping point for Blackstar's faith in StarClan which came back - for a little while - during the Great Battle. What annoys me was that even after Sol in Eclipse and Long Shadows, ShadowClan (under leader of Rowanstar) gets taken over in exactly the same way by Darktail and his rogues (see my rant on Thunder and Shadow). This is simply bad leadership, and even though Rowanstar is a much better leader than Blackstar was near the end, they shouldn't have fallen for the same gag twice. Don't get me wrong, though, Blackstar was a great leader.

I agree with you about bad leadership Rowanstar even said he was being way to lax of the WarriorCode. But I think it's just him being young and not very experience. He also was not Deputy for as long as Russetfur was. I think he didn't even expect to be picked fot the next Deputy when she died.

He was already an apprentice when Tigerstar arrived in ShadowClan and has trained at least two cats. Granted, one died before he could become a warrior, but still. That's the point of getting an apprentice before becoming deputy—so the cat could have experience leading an entire Clan. Rowanstar never seemed like that bad of a leader to me. Not the best, but certainly not the worst either.

You know, now I wonder, did Sol really not believe in the possible existence of StarClan or did he simply not think them important? I mean, a badger (who is apparently a ghost which I still find odd) tells him everything about these Clans and then he decides to go wreck their faith in StarClan. Meaning he actually believes everything Midnight told him. Or had Midnight edged him on a bit, seeing how she wanted to test the Clans' faith in StarClan?
I can understand Blackstar lost faith in StarClan really. They didn't always seem too concerned with ShadowClan. If they'd just given him or Littlecloud a sign earlier things wouldn't have gotten so out of hand. After all, Blackstar didn't stop believing in StarClan, he thought they simply didn't care about him and his Clan. Which, considering his age and all he and ShadowClan have been through, isn't so strange a thought to have.
