π. πππ ππ π ππ€π₯π ππ Okay. The Moonstone - the magical rock hidden deep inside Mothermouth allowing StarClan to communicate with living warriors. Medicine cats journeyed there every half-moon to meet with each other and share tongues with StarClan. Leaders went there to receive their nine lives ... and apprentices went there after their naming ceremony with their leaders. These are the traditions that the Forest cats lived throughout TPB and earlier. However, during the Great Journey, the latter traditions were lost. Why don't Lake apprentices journey to the Moonpool after becoming apprentices? We may never know.
P.S. Please give me ideas for more rants.

π. πππ¦ππππ£ πππ πππππ π¨ The first thing I'm going to mention is how fast the rogues got to the Clans. The rogues would have had to find the Lake, find the cats living there, and prepare enough to fight WindClan. The attack took place, like, 2 weeks after Alderpaw and co. got back. I doubt they could have directly followed Alderpaw - the group would definitely have noticed - but even if they had followed them a week later or something, the Lake territories are a heck of a distance from the Gorge ... Which brings me to my second point, which is the relative distance to the Gorge from the Lake territories. Heck, it took Firestar and Sandstorm half a Super Edition to get to the Gorge, and that was from the Forest! In The Apprentice's Quest, it took Alderpaw, like, 2 days to get to the Gorge FROM THE LAKE, and that was with an elder! The fact that it took Hawkwing (Hawkwing's Journey) half the Super Edition as well, and they didn't even get there! adds to my point. I think it was poorly communicated and the Erins could have done a better job. My third point is with ShadowClan vs. Darktail and Rain. Darktail came into ShadowClan and literally did exactly - and I mean exactly - the same thing Sol did in Power of Three's Eclipse and Long Shadows. He came into the Clan, offered them food, hates the Clans, and tried to take over ShadowClan. Thank goodness Rowanstar is actually a good leader, but what with the sickness at the same time, he was very close to losing. My fourth and final point is the apprentices in ShadowClan. Like, what the heck? Needlepaw? Sheetpaw? The other ones I forget about? Oh yeah - Beepaw and Lionpaw. Anyway, one of them doesn`t believe in StarClan, Needlepaw sneaks off to explore other Clans`territories... But you can`t do anything about it if they are completely ignorant to anything the senior warriors say.
