is much more interesting than that of the warrior cats' religion. While the cats have a simple heaven and hell with no God but instead those who had high ranks in their past lives, the dogs' have a much more complex thing going on.
For one, a dog feels more spiritually connected to a certain Spirit Dog than others do. And if the spirit ever talks with them, the spirit will appear to them in the form of somebody that dog has loved. minor spoiler; ex: Storm was confused if she was seeing Martha or the River-Dog.
Spirit Dogs are equivalent to gods and goddesses. That means the dogs are monogamous but they also choose which Spirit Dogs to believe in. No one believed in the Fear-Dog besides Terror and his Pack. There was also those that doubted the Wind-Dogs.
And then there's also stories of the Spirit Dogs that make you wonder what else is there to learn about these deities?
The religion thing is well-rounded and I think it was good subplot/plot thing to add in the Survivors series. It's become a conflict that we get a deeper look into without losing the mysteriousness of it. And personally, I hope we don't find out much about it. I like the mystery part. They ruined StarClan in Warriors by making them look like a selfish lot who become immature when they die which makes absolute no sense.
