Anita Delgado || The Queen of Hearts || The Heart Gang || 19
A Latina girl with full lips and one large, hard, dark brown eye. Her right eye has been cut out, a messy scrawl, a jumble of white scars pokes out from behind a red felt eye-patch she's sewed and embroidered with a golden heart. Her face is angular and heart shaped, her hair comes down past the half way mark of her back, a dark and glossy brown, her ears are pierced twice each and her arms toned and sinewy. Her lower arms and hands are heavily scarred with burn marks and callouses. Anita's figure is developed and powerful; from the square of her shoulders to the strong stance of her long legs, Anita radiates natural dominance, and is full of legerity, hard to catch and hard to hold down. She normally wears a golden colored choker necklace, a dark red velvet top, black jeans, oxblood boots and a khaki parka coat.
The Queen of Hearts was the only character this girl ever could've had projected onto her, really. Tough, wild and ruthless towards those who appose her, Anita Delgado solves any problem that comes her way, anyway she can. Any empathy or softness in her seems to have been rooted out and killed during the Wonderland project, though it isn't impossible for her to express kinder emotions. She values hardwork and loyalty above anything, and can appear to have iron steel work instead of bones at times, but she's as human as any other of the kids. Brave, indomitable and dauntless: Anita sees herself as the perfect leader for the escaped kids, and can't help but resent the Alice of the other group for a number of things. Her wrath is her greatest flaw, she's insular towards The Alice Band and hates being told what to do, only accepting advice graciously from her closet allies. Too quick to burn bridges and too unforgiving for her own good, Anita could self-destruct very easily if she's not careful, not known for patience, but capable of rationality if she remembers to stop and take a breath every now and again. She prefers to hide weaknesses and tries to handle everything on her own; she's tutelary to a fault, extremely protective of her fellow escapees, even if she does have a brusque, crude way of showing it. She's a total virago, a terror on the battlefield, glad of the excuse to destroy something, and despite having a fairly feminine appearance, and a talent with makeup, she's incredibly masculine in most fields of life. She doesn't ever try to cram herself into a box to fit others, and is incredibly honest, though her loveless bluntness has gotten her in trouble a few times in the past. In short, Anita is courageous but brutal, a good leader yet extremely territorial. It's easy to forget that she's not that old, when she talks, looks and acts like she's been through wars.
Her scars on her arms come from the early days of getting used to her ability: electrolytic blood. This is the ability to store very large amounts of electric energy in your blood and then wield it when you need to. When she was starting off, Anita needed to cut her arm every time she wanted to either store or use power, but she can now effectively do both without spilling her own blood. She uses her ability with unnerving proficiency and has become an absolute terror for any Small Sky agent that think she'll go easy. For a weapon, she has a double edged switch blade that she's quite generous with when using it on enemies.

Moses Ingersoll || The Gryphon || The Alice Band || 17
A little taller then average height, Moses is an athletically build Black boy, a neat crop of black curls on top of his head, with an easy grin. His skin has paled somewhat form lack of exposure, and his body and temperament has changed drastically, now as diaphanous as gauze. Being the Gryphon, he was subject to the most physical differences; Two sets of faded, feathered, black wings enable him with flight; a very large pair at his shoulder blades that are so big they easily cover him completely when folded over and a smaller pair, less then a meter in wingspan, further down his back. He also has two black tails, with big tufts at the ends, not unlike a lion's. Moses has two very straight horns producing from near his temples, roughly an arms-length long. His teeth are sharp and produced, and his green eyes are much larger then they used to be, with thin slits for pupils. He has four additional eyes, two above and below. Moses' hands and feet are tipped with hooked black claws and his arms are littered with scars from nervous scratching. He mainly wears a very ripped pair of jeans, a blue and white long sleeved t-shirt that is held together at the back with treasury tags and loose stitches and, when using his ability, a large pair of sunglasses, battered trainers, thin gloves and a baseball cap. When moving, he mostly uses all fours for climbing or perching, as it feels more natural with his heavy wings.
Jittery among people and maudlin when alone, Moses has been growing more and more miserable since the day the projects began. He's the awkward middle ground between an extrovert and an introvert, at his best among a small group of close friends. He's always been fairly emotionally intelligent and very in touch with his own feelings. Something upsetting him? He admits it and tries to think and how to feel better. Needs to cry? No shame in it, he lets himself have a weep. He enjoys most kinds of physical exercise, and would have been a big baseball star had he ever gone to school. Moses is generally an easygoing guy with a distaste for conflict and a gentle, curious personality. Since escaping, he's far more skittish and very easily startled. He's prone to talking to himself and tearing up shreds of paper or fabric with his claws, almost completely unaware of what he's doing. Moses has also become far more capricious and less sure of his own decisions. He's far shyer, and very self-conscious about his appearance now. He's grown dependent and comfortable in the dark, and likes hanging out in rafters and on top of buildings, and is the same nemophilist he always was, finding solace in woods and parks. Whilst initially terrified of flying, he appears to have conquered his fears somewhat, and his night vision is handiest as this is the only time he dares go out. He still hates fighting, is generous, trusting, and thoughtful and has an indefatigable curiosity, but it's harder to find these days under the layers of mental distress and general unhappiness. When he's like his old self, he loves his new body, finding it supernal, he adores his new found flying abilities, though they took some getting used to. He relies quite heavily on his leader for guidance and his friends in general for support and reassurance.
His actual power is to make himself look like a regular human. His eyes still have elongated pupils, and there are unusual scars along his finger tips, toes and temples were the claws and horns should be, but other then that he's totally ordinary. That's why he wears the glasses, hat and gloves when he's using his ability, it keeps his identity safe. He can only use this power for a certain amount of time, 20 minutes is his maximum so far, and after it he's exhausted and in a lot of pain. He doesn't have a weapon of choice as he hates combat, but he's got his claws, teeth, and a small silver gun that he carries more for comfort then actual use.

Imogen Macintosh || Cymbeline || Small Sky|| 61
Aged, but still dignified and emitting power in every action, Director Macintosh should not be crossed lightly. She is a tall woman, though slightly stooped now, with thick silver hair that is normally tied back in a wrap around braid. Her face is lined with age and her grey eyes are observant and cold. Her body is dense and strong, wiry but well-built after a lifetime of fighting. At office work, she is normally seen in a sharp suit: grey pinstripe with a white blouse, and in the field, the same bulletproof vest, combat boots and cargo pants as the everyone else. What sets her apart is the golden clip she wears in her hair, a glimpse at her earned regality. A fine, blade thin scar cuts along her neck, a relic of a past adversity.
The years have not softened this weathered woman. She's still the same astute, shrewd lady she always was. Director Macintosh does not tolerate slackers or traitors, and has been known to had out executions and corporeal punishments herself. To her own soldiers, she's incredibly loyal and takes great pride in hand-picking cadets and recruits, looking for the same steel and ruthless obedience she showed herself. To the escaped experiments, she is nothing short of a nightmare. The project may not have been her idea, but it was she who fostered it and nurtured it and saw it's success, as well as it's downfall. Single minded merciless is all she's ever shown or felt towards any of the children she's turned into monsters. They are tools to her, nothing more and nothing less, weapons to be sold to the highest bidder. That they escaped vexes her and when she's annoyed she's even more dangerous. She wants the escapees to suffer for their escape and she wants them to know and learn fear intimately. Devoid of warm, this woman is the steep snow covered cliff of a mountain, an icy drop with nothing there to catch you. Director Macintosh is destruction and war and everyone had best remember it.
She can shot a hand gun, a rifle or a sub machine gun at this stage. Her weapon of choice varies from time to time, and she really prefers to fight with her hands, she always has. A small enamel ring is on the middle finger of her left hand, which has a secret needle filled with the tranquilizer.
She was drafted into Small Sky as a young girl, a whip of a thing with evil eyes and a raised chin. Her mother was a call girl, and had been murdered by her costumer, leaving Imogen penniless with nowhere to go. Finding herself without any but her own natural resources, Imogen became obsessed with the concept of power: who had it, why they had it, and how to take it from them. She learnt quickly that becoming an important member of Small Sky was a surefire way to grasp power fully. Imogen was never interested in romance, and made no friends as she climbed the ladder, keeping only to herself. She proved herself on a battle field and in the boardroom, intelligent and impervious to distraction, and was promoted higher and higher with glowing reports. It soon became common code that if you wanted results, you put Imogen Macintosh on the case. She idolized her own director, a mister Romolo Redd, code name of "Caesar", and viewed him as the father she never knew. He was equally as found of her and it wasn't long before Imogen was the second most powerful person in Small Sky. The Wonderland Project was Director Redd's idea, he set the foundations for it, but he was killed in the line of duty before he could fully start it. Imogen became Director Macintosh and though there was something unnerving about the project, she threw herself into the task with an endless vigor. The further she delved into it, the more she loved it, as it was power, pure and simple, in it's finest form: both giving and receiving it. It has raised her ego to a godlike status and she sees herself as the creator of a new breed of killer.

Aleksander Volkov || Maugrim || Small Sky || 28
Just short of seven foot tall, Aleksander has a body ready for a battle and a face made for war. Salt white skin and a neat cut of gently curled sandy brown hair, occasionally shot with gold, everything about him is military procession and sharp lines. A square jaw, raised cheekbones, roman nose, broad shoulders: the solider poster-boy. The only notable flaws in this pristine machine are the rivers of scars crisscrossing his face, neck and upper torso. Deep, jagged rivers, barely missing his eyes, turning the right one up at the corner, and claiming a chunk of his nose across the bridge. He commonly wears a long, black wool coat with detailed silver buttons and the collar pulled up over his face, black trousers, a white shirt and black shoes.
Aleksander is the agent they send when they don't want witnesses. Seemingly devoid of a capacity for human grief, and with no want for the aggression and raw brutality the job requires, he's a terror in combat. He does not see killing as a sin anymore, though when he was first drafted it plagued his nightmares, more as just part of the job. Taking out a mutated teenager is nothing more to him then filling out his tax release. He's stoic and apathetic, and fairly insubordinate to most people. If he's not impressed with what he sees, physically or mentally, he shows no respect. This applies to many of his superiors and also his peers. He's known for holding grudges, this man's got a penchant for revenge, and is after the escaped Wonderland test subjects with a personal grudge. He is not totally without love, or warmth. Aleksander loves dogs, for instance, the bigger the better, and has always been fascinated by wolves. He often empathizes with the fear and terror victims feel, but he does not sympathize with them and will still carry out his job. It's not completely foreign for him to engage in a clever joke or light teasing of his other agents, but Aleksander is a solivagant at heart, only ever passing time with the peers he believes are his equals, never forming any lasting relationships.
The man's a walking armory: a hand gun in his holster, a two barreled shotgun on his back, a hidden blade, barely thicker then an envelope, up his sleeve, and another hidden in his sock. But his weapon of choice has to be the wicked hunting knife he has strapped to his left leg. Roughly 20cm of smooth, curved steel, he wields it like it's part of his body.
Aleksander comes from a long line of Small Sky agents, it's a tradition and honor to be drafted in. He's an anomaly however, as typically it's the women in his family who go into this line of work. It originated back in World War Two, when women made more effective spies, as they could pass through unnoticed by men looking for other men. Still, his mother had no daughters, and Aleksander was trained from a very young age to take his place at Small Sky. His training was physical and mental, speaking three languages by the time he was twelve and cutting men open chin to groin by the time he was thirteen. His pride was nurtured by his mother and allowed to grow and flower so much that by the time he was actually a cadet, he wouldn't even talk to his peers, convinced he was of a higher breed then them. Though he was vastly unpopular, there was a begrudging respect for his ability and dedication, as well as the leverage that came with the Volkov name in Small Sky. He did not get on well with Director Macintosh, as she came from nothing and worked her way up through sheer rage, whilst Aleksander seemed to be suckling on his family's legacy. Greatly resenting her moral high ground, he started taking the dangerous missions, the suicide ones, and worked his way up through his own name then, forging a path of blood and conquest. His face was scarred during a training session with one of the Wonderland recruits. He always hated them, freaks of nature, and now that hatred is boiling.

THE WONDERLAND PROJECT
♛ -- Gunshots echoed through the eerily quiet abandoned fairgrounds and two people dressed in black business attire glanced at each other with anxious expressions. Two teenage bodies laid limp on the old carousel, the horses looking rather terrifying under the moonlight and seeming to take on a ghastly appearance in the situation. “I know the Director gave the kill order, but doesn’t this leave us without two experiments?” a woman in a black suit asked her colleague. Their organization needed these...children alive and the fact they had to kill two was a great loss.
The other person, a man in a black button down shirt and black pants, walked over to the bodies and knelt down. “Might as well take some samples back for testing. Perhaps we can recreate the results some how,” he told the woman, taking out a plastic bag with the words “Small Sky” written on one side. The man looked down at the girl in front of him and wrote on the clear plastic with sharpie “Lory”. He never understood the naming system for this project.
Project Wonderland. The most successful Small Sky project and the one they lost. Having tracked down the experiments to this city and watched them separate into “gangs”, Small Sky was now ready to make the move to get their property back. Hopefully, the deceased ‘Bloodhound’ and ‘Lory’ would serve as a reminder to the experiments that they should not risk any more lives. Little did those Small Sky agents know that the two gangs would blame each other for the death of their own.

DRUXY --
♛ -- A round, old city seated on the very banks of Western Europe, a man-made island that is a test of humanity's ingenuity and progress. It's not the biggest island in the world, and it's progress as the years have worn by is notable. The Old Town is all red brick buildings, dark glass, ornate decorations and treed streets: mostly left to rot and abandon now. The New Town is skyscrapers, steel columns, monuments to success and wealth. Trendy apartments, fashionable restaurants and shops are seated just behind an almost deserted docks, where rusted shipyards and empty warehouses remind passing people what was required to build the city they love. There are blurry edges, where the two parts of the city overlap, squat tobacco factories with mosaic fronts sandwiched between glass fronted technology stores and elegant city rail way systems. Since the gangs have arrived in Druxy, and consequently separated, they split up most of the Old Town between them; less people, more shadows. That's not to say that as they've grown more comfortable, they haven't claimed a little bit of New Town too.
♛ -- The Alice Band:
❥ The abandoned docks and warehouses of Old Town: Some not-so-legal boats still use these docks, and it's good to keep an eye on the waters, in case some undesirables appear one day.
❥ The Linen Sector: A still active section of Old Town with restaurants and the Linen Hall Library. The Library is excellent, one of the oldest buildings in Druxy, with every book you can think of, and is the Alice Band's base.
❥ Redwood Lane: A residential area of Old Town with a generous homeless shelter. Good for free food, but using it too often is a bad idea. Better to stay invisible.
❥ The economic North-Eastern section of New Town: Particularly the skyscrapers. Anything you need to know about current affairs, it'll be here. The tall buildings are good news for the Gryphon, plenty of flying space and perches.
❥ The museum quarter of New Town: Built on the eastern side of the Stal River. Includes art museums, natural history museums, industrial museums; you want it, they got it. It over looks some woods, and beyond that, it's Waterside street. This makes things a little tense between the gangs, having borders so close.
♛ -- The Heart Gang:
❥ Druxy's China Town: It fringes on New and Old Town and is bustling with stalls and businesses. Cobblestone streets lined with red lanterns and tightly packed shops, it's excellent for Intel and food.
❥ Waterside street: A row of derelict mansions at the end of the Stal River in Old Town. Nice place to lie low, number 13, a big Victorian-style, is used as the Heart Gang's base.
❥ The disused underground tube station railway lines of Old Town: And several operational New Town lines. Good for getting into the city unseen.
❥ Wilde Avenue: A series of streets in Western New Town full of shady clubs and questionable shops. Current affairs, weapons, or lewd good times: you'll get it all somewhere on Wilde Avenue.
❥ The area surrounding Druxy Central Airport: In New Town, including a four story car park. The Heart Gang know that trying to take the actual airport wouldn't be successful, so they simply own the land around it.
♛ -- Neutral Areas:
❥ Black Pine Hospital: Old, but useful after fights. The nurses and doctors there don't ask many questions, and the hospital food isn't too bad. There is a Druxy Royal Hospital, but it's far too public for these kids, though it's situated in Alice's New Town.
❥ St Dymphna's Cathedral: A Gothic building with sweeping towers, large stained glass windows and hard floors. Often used for Parle between groups, it's assumed between them that all meeting there are a truce. It is located in Old Town.
❥ Rosclear Park: A large, beautiful wooded area in central New Town. It has a boating lake, several small shops and lots of good hiding places. The land surrounding the park all belongs to the Alice Band, so the Heart Gang access it through the tube stations.
❥ The River Stal: No gang layed claim to the actual river, and so any boating services or trips down the river's banks are on neutral territory. This can make things stressed when passing through Waterside Street, or the Museum Quarter.
❥ Tulgey Bridge: The city of Druxy is mainly split by the winding Stal River, and whilst there are several smaller bridges, Tulgey is the only bridge large enough to support foot and motorized traffic. It is in the center of the river, with St Dymphna's Church just off of it on the Old Town side.
❥ The Meadow of Living Flowers: An abandoned funfair. Honestly, it's a little creepy. A Haunted House, Big Dipper, Carousel, Swing Ride, even a little duck pond. No gang took it because it gives the already 'on edge' kids the creeps. Most people don't go there at all, even civilians. It was closed due to the number of deaths on the rides, and is supposedly haunted. And since the death of some of the escapees, none of the kids will set foot in it.

PLOTS, RELATIONS AND MEMBERS
♛ -- Plots
Death in the Meadow: Not long after they settled in Druxy, two of the escapees came to blows in the Meadow of Living Flowers, the abandoned theme park on the edge of the city. They were the Bloodhound, Anita's best lieutenant from the Heart Gang, and Lory, Alice's sister from the Alice Band. No one is certain what the fight was about, or why either of them were out there so late at night. All that is known is that both of them are dead. Neither of the gangs are aware that the two escapees were killed by Small Sky agents, they saw evidence that they'd fought each other, and felt that there was nothing else to consider. The agents had been stalking Lory and the Bloodhound for some time, and tried to take them in, but when it looked like they might overpower them, Cymbeline gave the kill order, and both of them were mowed down. Tensions between the gangs have been rising since then, both sides pointing fingers, and neither prepared to accept that hard truth: that Small Sky are much closer then they appear.

INFORMATION, RULES AND JOINING
♛ -- Information on the RP
A group of kids have grown up in a facility run by a corporation known as Small Sky, and run by the Director Cymbeline. They have each been tested up and given strange abilities, as well as code names, all linking into the popular stories of Alice in Wonderland. Recently however, the kids escaped, took up fake names, and made it to the city of Druxy, where they have remained hidden for months. Over time, fractions grew between the escapees, and they broke off into two groups, The Alice Band, led by Alice, and the Heart Gang, led by Anita. The kids are trying to grow accustomed to life in the city whilst remaining hidden, and have divided the city up among each other, to avoid unnecessary feuds. There have been several fights between them, but as of now, they are at a makeshift truce. Things are tense since Lory and the Bloodhound were killed, and fights are more likely then ever to break out.
Small Sky has managed to track the escapees down as far as Druxy, and are currently tearing the city apart, as subtly as they can, looking for them. The kids don't know if they're here yet exactly, but they know enough to be tense, and on guard.
♛ -- Rules
The rules of this rp aren't anything you haven't seen before. No perfect characters, be as active as you can, be polite to other members and follow all the major forum rules. You can RP up to two of the escapees, but no more. The number of Small Sky agents, if any, you want to RP is up to you.
Queen of Ghostling and Sappho are the mods of this RP, and have the final say in accepting members, deleting members, and deciding where the plot goes next. Of course, everyone contributes to the plot, but when major decisions are to be made, they're in charge.
When you create an escapee character, you'll have to think of a power. Don't make it too elaborate or powerful, and try to link it back to the character they were named after.

Imogen Macintosh || Cymbeline || Small Sky|| 61

Aleksander Volkov || Maugrim || Small Sky || 28
