{Never seen Hamilton, but I've heard lots and lots about it Is it really that good?}
Lumi wouldn't really want to go anywhere else than somewhere like McDonalds. The last time she had been out fancy eating was... She couldn't even remember, and dating someone like Archer brings your self esteem down by, well, a lot. She almost felt as if she was too bruised and battered to belong somewhere nice and fancy, or even somewhere where people served you instead of takeout. She got too overwhelmed, or just felt crappy. She pulled her sleeves down subconsciously over her hand as she thought, trying to hide whatever was on her arms from Keaton and everyone else who was around her.
She was quite realized when he agreed to go to Mcdonalds, smiling wider though it was still tired, just more natural, before continuing on down the sidewalk. Soon enough, the two arrived at the McDonalds which was decently packed, but most people were already sitting down and eating their food, some people even leaving already. Lumi got into the line, reading the menu and checking out the prices, seeing if she'd be able to afford. She patiently waited until it was her and Keaton's turn, and walked up to the register, pulling out her wallet as she spoke, glancing at Keaton for a moment and then back at the lady at the register, "Hi, uhm, I'll have a six piece chicken nugget meal." she said, smiling at the lady.
The lady grinned and punched in the order, than turned her gaze towards Keaton, "And for you?"
Lumi paused for a moment, then leaned forward on the counter a bit, smiling apologetically at the girl, "Oh, no, we're not paying together." she explained, not wanting Keaton to spend his money on her food just because they were a boy and a girl going out for lunch. She could handle her own weight.
"Oh, sorry! I just assumed because, y'know, you guys look so cute together and all~" She girl behind the counter apologized, grinning at the two of them as she looked between them, pretty much oblivious to the world and manners.
Lumi laughed softly and shook her head, "Oh, no, I have a..." But suddenly, she trailed off, not even knowing how to finish the sentence. Could she really consider Archer a 'boyfriend'? Boyfriends were supposed to love and protect their girlfriends, not beat them and get angry at them all the time. She didn't even know why she was getting so emotional, but tears stung at her eyes as she turned her face away for a moment, not able to say anything.
The cashier gave Keaton a look that was a mixture of confused, guilty, and helpless, unsure what to do.

(Ehem Here we go)
It had not been too long since the two had woken up. Paris almost didn't remember that the two had fallen asleep together, it brought a faint blush to his cheeks. Then he remembered, they had class. The boy shot up quickly, luckily the two had already woken up. "We are going to be late for class!" He said his eyes going rather wide, good thing for them they were still in there robes and what not so they wouldn't have to worry to much. All he had to do was fix himself a bit. Or they could always ditch class... Woah dangerous thoughts ran through his head. He had never missed a class, unless of course it was because he had injured himself again. He pushed his hair back with his hand, his fingers adjusting everything so he at least looked somewhat put together.
This was very unlike Paris, to spend a night out of the dorms, especially with a girl. To think of ditching class, to think of holding her hand.. or just her in general. Ivory was the only person that ran through his mind on a consistent basis. It was like he was addicted to her or something. It was all very weird for him, but he didn't mind. She was so cute when she let down her walls and was herself. Paris was glad to see the side of her that no one saw, it made his little heart all warm and fuzzy. " Come on, we should get going. What class do you have next? I, uh, might be able to walk you there.." He said his hand moving to rub the back of his neck again "Ya know, cause you can't fall asleep in m-my arms and not hold my hand right?" He said, trying his best to be confident, though the stuttering didn't really help with that to much. Boy was he spastic around her. His heart never beat this fast with anyone else. She drove him crazy, but in a good way. Paris didn't even know there was a good kind of crazy. But he had found that with her.
The next day Paris woke up in his own bed, he kind of missed the feeling of Ivory sleeping beside him. He felt alone in his bed without the Slytherin girl in his arms. He got ready, is was time for breakfast, hopefully they could run into each other. He had walked her to class the day before, so maybe her friend were going to be a bit shocked and wanting answers. Speaking of friends, he was tackled the moment he left the Hufflepuff dorms and when into the hallway.
"Where were you!" The voices of his two friends came with rather upset tones. One of his friends was Leonard Kind, Ravenclaw prefect. But he wasn't like the idea of most prefects he was more laid back as far as rules and such went. At least with Paris he was.
"You be dork, we save you leave with Ivory and you never came back to the dorms what the hell happened?" Charles, a fellow Hufflepuff had his arm wrapped around Paris' neck in a headlock.
"Ouch get off you big bullies." Paris pushed the both of them off. "Nothing happened, we just spent the night together. She fell asleep..I fell asleep. When we woke up it was time to go to class and I walked her to her class." He face turned bright red. His friends could be so embarrassing. "I don't know why you guys are freaking out." He said shrugging his shoulders.
"Uhhh maybe because she has a reputation at this school Paris?" Leo said, he knew everything there was to know about everyone usually. This was thanks to Lyra, because she talked to everyone; well everyone that would talk to her that was. Both the siblings were likable people and tended to have a good amount of friends. His younger sister was on the Quidditch team so that helped her a lot too. "What did you two do, spill it Hufflepuff."
"Dude, nothing happened, I told you already. She isn't like that." Paris said glaring at the two of them. "You don't even know her. Don't you two know its rude to talk about someone. More so if you don't know what you are talking about." The golden eyed boy glared at them for a moment longer before turning away from his friends. "She is a good person." He walked off leaving his two friend to kind of just stare at him in shock, Paris never spoke to anyone like that unless they did something to piss him off. And obviously the two had done just that.
Running a hand through his hair he let out a sharp breath of air as he walked down the hall, not smiles like normal it was clear something was bugging him. Shaking his head he cleared his thoughts, it was worth being mad at them for being stupid. They didn't know her, Paris did. And he liked her, so they would have to learn. He knew they would say sorry soon enough. Getting lost in his thoughts he slammed into a poll. This knocked him on to the floor and brought his hand to his head rubbing it a bit. "Ouch." Paris mumbled shifting to get up, he looked at his hand. Of course, there was a cut, small but still. He pulled out one of the bandaids he kept on hand for situations just like this and placed it over the cut. He was so clumsy he was surprised he was even alive at this point with how many times he hit something, fell off of something, or tripped over something. It wasn't long before her was in the Great Hall where many of his school mates had gathered for breakfast. Usually he would have gone to kitchens for everything fresh and anything he wanted at his finger tips and he wouldn't have to deal with some people but, he wanted to see a certain girl and this was the quickest way to see her. At least he hoped it was.
(I remember I think we planned to have Ivory have had a past with one of his friends!!!!*cough charles cough*)

The cashier gave Keaton a look that was a mixture of confused, guilty, and helpless, unsure what to do. {Oh my gosh yes it is, it's amazing, literally. You should listen to the soundtrack.] "It's okay," Keaton mouthed while Lumi was turned away before actually turning back to Lumi "Are you sure you don't want me to get this for you, Lumi? I invited you to get lunch with me, after all, and I'm totally happy to get it for you. It would make everything easier in terms of paying anyway." He felt sort of bad for making her pay anyway. Not because he wanted to enforce gender roles or anything, but he thought it would be polite to offer and he would feel rude for making someone he invited to lunch pay for their meal. If he hadn't asked her if she wanted to eat with him, Lumi might very well have chosen to save her money and eat at home or something, he didn't know. All he knew was that it was his idea for the two of them to go out to lunch. As he spoke he was fishing out his wallet - he'd need it whether she let him pay for it or not - so that he could be ready for the payment. It wouldn't be too expensive, thankfully, since it was just McDonald's. That was an upside to getting lunch at a fast food place, anyway. [I'm trying a shorter length like we were talking about so I can reply to you more often]

Lumi, compose yourself. She looked like a fool in public, and she hated showing her emotions in front of others. She shook her head a little and took a deep breath, before looking back over at Keaton, smiling weakly, "Thanks, Keaton. I'll go get us a table." It was all she could manage out before taking the paper cup the cashier had passed her and heading over to the soft drink machine, tucking her wallet back in her bag as she moved. She would have to repay Keaton later and apologize for her immaturity, seeing as it was probably embarrassing for him with her being all emotional in public. She sighed softly as she relaxed her forehead against the machine as it poured ice tea into her cup, then moving on to lid her drink and search for a seat.
Thankfully, a couple had just left a little two seater at a window, leaving their garbage there but it was no problem for Lumi. She set down her drink before easily picking both the trays up and dumping out the garbage, than setting herself down in one of the seats, pulling her notebook and pencil out of her bag before flipping to an empty page and beginning to sketch. Unfortunately, she only managed to draw an outline of a face before her thoughts cloud over, the inspiration flow seemingly blocked off as it had been every other time. She cursed softly to herself under her breath, leaning her cheek against her right hand as she tapped the page with her left.
Why did this just keep happening to her? She couldn't even complete her big project lately her writers block was so bad... It was as if she just didn't even have any energy to do what she loved the most, especially since she was wasting it all on Archer.

(Don't you worry about the length. This will probably be super short as I'm on mobile so XD)
When Lumi had left, Keaton gave his order and quickly paid for the two of them before Lumi could change her mind, carrying the food over to the table before heading off to get his own soft drink.
When he finally settled down, he could see that Lumi was looking rather frustrated, her sketchbook in hand. She didn't look too happy.
"Are you alright?" he asked softly "Is everything okay?"
It looked like she had just lost inspiration, but he suspected that there was something much bigger behind and of this, and Keaton was determined to find out exactly what it was. He didn't want Lumi to be upset - he wanted her to be happy. That was all he wanted for her, though he knew it was much harder to achieve than it seened

{It's fine LOL not that short at all I would've done way way worse like bad xD I hate mobile}
Lumi glanced up at Keaton as he sat down, almost as if she had forgotten he was here as well. She'd had artist block for a while, yes, but lately it was getting worse. She had told Keaton she was having trouble when he was at the house last, but now... It just felt as if everything was 10x worse.
"Just... Stress." she simply said, closing her notebook and putting it away. Lumi didn't rely on anyone. She didn't have anyone to rely on, nor was she used to at the same time. She felt as if telling Keaton might just burden him with her problems. And he was so sweet to treat her to lunch today that she really didn't want to do any harm to him, especially share some of her weight onto his shoulders.
She reached over towards her chicken nuggets, eyes immediately lighting up in delight, almost as if wanting to change the topic of conversation. She hadn't had nuggets in so long. She carefully opened up the small lid as if revealing the treasure inside of a treasure chest, and raised a nugget to the mouth, take a small bite, than smiling wide in contentment. She hadn't remembered the last time she had been so happy to eat something so unhealthy for your body, even if she never touched unhealthy food. Not long after, that nugget was gone, and she began making quick work of the rest of them, almost as if she hadn't eaten in days.
... Again, it was as if she had forgotten Keaton was there.

"Good God, slow down," Keaton had laughed when he saw her wolfing down her meal "you gotta savour good food. Your missing all of the flavours of unhealthiness, and that would be a shame"
There was a pause as he took a bit of the burger he had ordered for himself, which he swallowed before saying "Come on, seriously though, artist's block? Are you sure you are okay? You can tell me, and this is probably the last time in a while that we'll both have a decent opportunity to talk together. This is the best time to tell me if you're not okay,"
Well, it was obvious she wasn't okay, but he figured that he would have tone that obvious if he wanted even a chance at getting her to open up to him. He could tell she wasn't okay. When an artist had block, that always meant there was something wrong. Something which stopped them from letting out their creativity. He should know. And so he made it his mission to find out exactly what was going on with Lumi, whether she wanted to or not. He couldn't just let her be unhappy like that and say that she was fine. He was better than that.
He was glad that he'd taken her out - he felt like she had needed it and, well, Keaton had needed it too. He'd needed a break, and the boys' idea of a break was not Keaton's, unfortunately. So what could he do?
(Again, I'm in mobile. Hate mobile so much)

{screeeeeeeee and it's still long xD}
Lumi looked up at Keaton, having paused in her chicken nugget fest for the fries, about to stick a handful of them into her mouth, before placing a few of them back down in embarrassment and being to eat slower, "Sorry, I just haven't had Mcdonalds in so long." she explained, smiling bashfully up at him from under her black baseball cap.
If they were in highschool, Lumi probably would have replied a lot differently, probably said 'You can't tell me what to do' with a smirk and continue to scoff down in her food. She probably wouldn't have even been that hungry due to the fact she'd eat nuggets whenever she'd want to and be fit due to the fact she spent most of her time either working out, cheerleading, or doing something that involved physical activity other than art. Now her only way of keeping skinny was just not eating at all.
She paused as he once again asked her if she was okay, keeping her face hidden under the flap of her hat as she stared at her food, before sub-consciously fixing her sleeves again and hiding them under the table, almost as if curling over a bit to comfort herself or even hide from her troubles. Could she tell him she was hardly sleeping at night, or that Archer kept getting worse, or that she hardly even had time or energy to do anything for herself anymore? One of her only friends at college, one girl who kept trying to reach out to her named Alaska, kept asking her around the same questions, 'Are you okay? You're not acting yourself' truth was, she had never acted herself. Not there.
She glanced up at her food, the nuggets suddenly seeming less than appealing, causing her stomach to churn angrily, "I'm suddenly not that hungry anymore." she said quietly, avoiding his question as she reached out to push her tray away.

Keaton sighed "I'm sorry, you don't have to say anything if you don't want to. You just seemed...I don't know. I know stuff isn't great for you right now to say the least, so I won't force you to say anything to me if you don't want to. But I do want you to know that if there's anything at all that you need, even if it's only to get out of the house, all you have to do is let me know"
He didn't want her to feel like she couldn't talk to him, and he didn't want her to feel isolated or anything like that. What Keaton felt like Lumi needed was someone she could talk to if things got bad. That was what would be useful to her, he felt.
Maybe it would be useful to Keaton, too. Maybe talking to Lumi would bring him out of his shell socially and allow him to talk better to people and to just allow him to be more adept socially. He wanted to be able to talk to people, to not be seen as shy anymore. Maybe Lumi could help.

{My turn to be sorry x.x}
Lumi looked up at him from under the edge of her hat, lips pursed together but quivering slightly as she stared at him. She really... Didn't want to be a nuisance to him, even if she was going through a lot of things right now, but... Could she really rely on him? Sometimes it was better to let out your emotions than to keep it in, and Keaton had always seemed to be a trustworthy, quiet person, even if he was Archer's friend... he seemed to not like his abuse as much as she did.
"It's just..." she started, quietly, taking a deep breath to regain her composure before looking up at him in the eye, before dropping his gaze again, ".... It's Archer. I don't know, Keaton... I can't do this anymore..." she said quietly, putting her face in her hands as she continued to try not to cry. She couldn't, she needed to be strong... But even strong people broke sometimes, especially if they had no one to talk about their stuff with. Lumi had no one except herself, and who was supposed to be there for her the most, was terrible to her. The poor girl was stuck in a hard spot, and it was slowly killing who she was and her creativity. But... She didn't know how to escape it, or what to do.
"I-I'm sorry... I really don't want to burden you." she added a moment later, keeping her eyes down on her sleeves on her laps, playing with them sub conciously to keep her distracted from the conversation.

(No problem, cos it's my turn now. The participated thing never told me you'd replied)
"You're not burdening me," Keaton insisted gently as he reached out to touch her arm in a comforting way "I know what you mean, and I know what he's like. I can't stay it wouldn't be hypocritical of me to say this, since I haven't done anything about it myself, but I'll say it. You need to do something about it. If you're like me and you feel like you can't leave him then have someone to talk to. You have me now, you can tell me as much or as little as you want. But the more emotion you let out, the easier this all becomes for you to handle and the easier it'll be to decide if you want to leave. I'll be honest, I should have done it years ago"
He wanted to be there for her the way nobody had been there for him. That was all he wanted, all he needed, and he suspected it was all Lumi needed. And he could be that for her. And maybe, just maybe, she'd be there for him too. Maybe they could get each other out of this.
He could only hope. It was all he could ever do, all he had ever been able to do. It had never worked for him before, but it might just work now. Maybe it was just because everything felt more positive with Lumi around, but he felt better about the whole situation.
