mintedstar/fur🦇 (These poor people xD) It was obvious that Patrick was a little uncomfortable with the silence, because he started at gaze around at the other people, nodding slowly. Then, when she finally asked that question, his attention was soon back on her. "Ah no- I came to check it out before bringing my smaller brother," he replied with a slight smile. After answering, he took a step away from her. "S-sorry...you really don't want to be bothered right now, do you?"

(Oh, so sad. ) "Ah! No, don't go!" said Eveline, before she realized she'd been very loud. "Sorry, sorry," she said in her normal voice. "I didn't mean to be so loud. I mean...trust me, you aren't bothering me. Really. I wasn't doing anything before I ran into you." She was surprised he'd stayed around this long really. She knew that she wasn't easy to talk to.

Patrick looked a bit surprised as he looked around, noticing a few groups were staring at them. He gave a nervous chuckle, eyes meeting hers again as he stopped backing away. "F-fine I won't go," he whispered. "Just bring it down a notch and we should be fine, alright?" Now smiling a bit, he added, "hey, I can show you something pretty cool about this place. Would you like to see it?"

Eveline nodded nervously. She hadn't been around the carnival much, and she didn't really know Patrick. But she wasn't going to pass up a chance to finally do something with someone. "What is it?" she whispered, doing what the boy said and speaking quietly.

"It's just something one of the workers showed me. Maybe if we're lucky, this certain animal trainer will show up again," Patrick replied with a smile, tilting his head to one side. "I do hope you'll join. If not, we can just go to some of the rides or something."

Yeah murder will happen soon. Would people prefer that a majority of us be on when that happens? Or does it matter?)

Sorry for the wait lil chickadees)
Prankster leaned forward in his chair, hands clasped together on his desk as he watched his little map. The ones who'd been tagged were stuck, they couldn't leave, not that it mattered. For now those who were tagged had no clue that it was closing time, and he was quite proud that his employees had managed to separate ones from their friends long enough for their friends to think they should just wait outside. As soon as Zero had closed and locked the gates leading into the carnival ground though, the customers who were stuck after hours knew very well that it was dark, and that it was most certainly nighttime. With a quick snap of his fingers, he watched on his little magical map as the ferris wheel came off its bearings, as the roller coaster came off from its tracks. The bumper cars were free, the merry go scream animals came off their poles. It had begun, the hunt for the souls of those who were stuck after hours. The man usually sat back to watch the show, making sure everything went the way it was supposed to. It was very rare for him to actually get involved himself. There was the rare occasion however where he would appear out of nowhere to come to the aid of one of his employees who seemed to be in a pinch or had been "killed" because while they couldn't be killed, he certainly didn't like it when they couldn't do their jobs because they lost their limbs or were shot so many times their unnatural healing abilities couldn't keep up. A gentle sigh escaped his lips and he set down his pawn piece at the corner of the map, watching it silently before his gaze slid to the map.
Raven kept up her little facade until the gates were closed, and that was when her devil sticks came back out. This time though, she wasn't using them to wow the crowds. Oh no, this time she was intent on hunting down whatever survivors there were and ending their lives with them. She made her way through tents, eyes scanning over the silent area. The night was a little cool but she didn't seem to mind. Well, at least not yet, if the temperature dropped any lower though, well, then she might have to really look for some action to keep her warm. "Come out come out wherever you are," she murmured, cold blue eyes scanning the shadows. A disgusting screeching noise alerted her to the presence of the ferris squeal and she took a few steps back in time to watch it come careening down the way, not seeming to care that it could have hit her had she kept walking. It never seemed to realize the difference between friend and foe. At least not like the merry go scream animals or the lucky prizes or bumper cars.
The twins happily made their way down the main section, looking way too happy for what they were about to be doing. It was a sick little game to them, killing off poor little mortals. It was fun, especially the ones that they could easily trick into thinking they'd keep them safe. Only to bludgeon them to death when they had the chance. It was always fun to see just how long it would take them to realize that well, the twins were up to no good really.

Reina felt herself changing. She had already been tired enough from the whole show. Now, she could sense that it was time to have some real fun. All thoughts of any customers that came to mind were null and void. All she could do was grin to herself as she whispered some Spanish to her wolves before letting them run free with the other creatures that came to life once the gates closed. She hummed lowly and sweetly to herself as she picked up one of her daggers, and her show-whip. Of course, she had only used the whip for the entertainment of the crowd. Maybe now she'd be able to find some real use out of it.

(Do the weapons just appear on the tagged?)
Henrietta wasn't sure what had happened. One moment, she'd stepped into the bathroom to wash her hands and, the next, darkness had settled and the carnival grounds were quiet as the grave. Her heart was threatening to beat through her chest and it took every ounce of resolve she had to not let herself slip into a panic attack. She was alone in a strange place with no way of knowing what was around the corner. The only comfort she had was that this place wasn't too large. All she needed was to make her way to the main gate and she'd be fine. A distant screeching sound echoed through the grounds and she instinctively ducked behind a counter, eyes scanning every single inch that she could see for signs of movement. A slight pain in her palm drew her attention away and she glanced down to see where her nails were digging into her flesh. Swallowing heavily, she turned her attention back towards the path and, after a quiet few minutes, saw a familiar shape. Breathing a long sigh of relief, she slowly stood and stepped out from her cover, "Raven, great. I think I got locked in here?"

(Yes, they just kinda automatically appear in a convent place, whether it be in their hand, on their back with a sheath, at their side, etc)
Raven continued making her way, remaining silent. That is until she heard a noise, turning towards the voice. Oh great, of all the ones that she didn't want to fight. Henry had seemed nice, and while Raven didn't usually feel regret when killing survivors, she hadn't wanted to kill this one. Whoever tagged her was going to get a nice little word from her later. "Oh, hello Henry. Yeah, looks like it doesn't it?" she mused, bounding her stick between her two control sticks as she started making her way over. The middle stick was starting to bounce faster, making a louder clacking sound as she kept it going, eyes locked on the woman before her. "It's no big deal though, not really. It's like...one big creepy sleepover," she mused.

Henry's brief feeling of relief disappeared. That constant clacking was sending tremors up her back with every beat and Raven's nonchalance about the whole situation seemed so strange. She glanced around quickly, but there was no one else who could help her and no sign of backup. Clearing her throat, she couldn't keep the tremor from her voice, "Raven, I'd like to go now. My friends must be worried sick." She registered a small weight settling at her hip, but there was something familiar about it so she paid it no mind, attention staying on the woman in front of her.

(I might throw a human in for you River if nobody else comes on with a tagged human soon)
"Well, see, I'm not really forcefully stopping you from leaving. At least not yet," she told her,"although, really all you have to do is get past me to get to where you want to go. Past me, and everything else in here. I never thought I'd say this about anyone, but I really wish nobody had picked you." Henry had seemed like a great person once she opened up a little, almost like someone Raven would have hung out with had she not been in this cursed carnival. "I just want you to know that I'm sorry," she told her before suddenly she flipped her devil stick upwards and then hit it with one of the control sticks, hitting it with almost perfect accuracy to send it flying towards Henry, almost as if she were aiming to impale her with it.

This had to be a dream. Or a hallucination. Or some twisted flash that her mind had concocted in the brief moments she'd been alone. Because this sounded like Raven was implying she had been chosen for some twisted game and that had not been mentioned with the price of admission. A wave of nausea threatened to overwhelm her and she swallowed again, trying to keep down the anxiety that was threatening to overwhelm her, "You're not making se-" She broke off as the devil stick was flung up into the air. Startled by the sudden movement, she took a quick step back and, a moment later, the implement flew through the spot she'd been standing less than a heartbeat ago. Not that she stuck around to watch it go by. She had flung herself back behind the counter, body slamming into the dirt as she slid behind the cover and there was a dull pain as she landed on something. Reaching down, her hand wrapped around the handle of a knife and she pulled it free from the sheath only to drop it the second she took a look. It was impossible. She knew this knife and its very presence sent ice down her spine. It was hers, she'd recognize that little ding in the hilt and had spent hours on watch tracing the grain of the wooden handle. Hand shaking, she reached down and slowly picked it up once more before peering out around the corner towards where she'd seen Raven last. She couldn't explain what was going on, but at least she had a goal. Get to the gate. Get past everything and get to the gate before anyone else found her. But first she needed to make sure Raven wasn't going to follow.

"Don't make this any harder than it has to be, I promise I can make it quick," she stated, pulling out another stick and bouncing it between her two control ones. It started making its usual clacking noise, the ones customers enjoyed hearing because it meant she was performing and they were all such simple minded fools in her opinion that it was easy to entertain them just by bouncing the stick back and forth. But now the sound was ominous and dark and eerie. "Come on out, Henry," she stated, inching closer to the counter because she imagined that by this point Henry probably had her weapon by now. She had no idea what it was, but she really didn't want to find out. Her eyes never left the counter and she slowly began making her way to one end so she could go around and see if she couldn't just end this right here and now.

The clacking started up again and every single beat ramped up her nerves. But, if it did one good thing, it let her know where Raven was. She could hear it getting closer and closer, moving towards the counter before traveling towards the other end. Raven was trying to flank her, a smart move. But Henry had no intention of letting her. Creeping along below the counter, knife in hand, she mirrored Raven's movement, reaching the end around the same time. The clacking was close enough. With a fluid motion, she drew herself up out of the cover and propelled herself over the counter with her free hand, arcing the pommel of the knife towards Raven's arm with the other. She could control this situation by disarming Raven. She didn't need to kill her, not yet. There was still a chance to resolve this without taking any lives.

Raven figured Henry would be just like every other survivor, unable to fight and easy to kill. Sure, they had a few that knew what they were doing when it came to combat, but not usually. So when Henry came up over the counter, Raven's eyes widened in surprise and she stumbled back in an attempt to get out of the way. And upon losing her concentration she lost her devil stick as it fell the grass beneath her. She had two more left on her person on top of her control sticks. Her heart began racing, adrenaline began coursing through her veins and she couldn't help but smirk. Okay so she was going to put up a fight, that was pretty exciting if you asked her.

Henry planted one foot in the devil stick, facing Raven. She spun the knife in her hand, narrowing her eyes, "Stand down, I don't want to hurt you. Weapons down and we can work something out." She couldn't do this. Her hand was shaking slightly and it took a concerted effort to repress the horror that she knew would be written all over her face if she let it.
