Wow! That is so cool!
I also have the NYCC pins, and the poster, but I won't get to officially have them until Christmas.

Wow! That is so cool! I also have the NYCC pins, and the poster, but I won't get to officially have them until Christmas. I go back and forth all the time on whether to take the NYCC pins out of the plastic or not. The poster I got as a freebie from Barnes and Noble after someone on here posted that they were giving them away. I was so grateful. I know for Christmas I'm getting the newest Japanese and Russian books (when it deals with foreign language websites, it's just easier to order them myself instead of trying to explain it to someone else), and the paperback versions of Moth Flight's Vision and Path of Stars (I'm obsessive about them being in mint condition, which means I'm that weirdo that sits on the floor of the bookstore inspecting all of their copies for the nicest one, so I also picked those out). I wanted to get the 6 Korean books for Christmas, but after shipping it would've been the only gift I'd get, so I'm holding off on those for now until I can get some money saved up again. Maybe by my birthday. The rest of Christmas will be a surprise. I've always wanted to ask, what happened to Franklin's ear in your picture?

You sound exactly like me, oh my StarClan. I have to have my Warriors books in the best condition they can be, at all times. If something happens to one, or they are out of place it really stresses me out. Unfortunately, when I lived in Hawaii a few years ago, I was traveling back from Illinois from one of Vicky's tours, so I had a whole suitcase full of books! When they were unloading the plane, they took a long time, and it was raining, so some of the rain got in my suitcase and damaged the jacket of my hardcover Sign of the Moon book a bit, and that one is very special because it was the first book I've ever gotten signed, but I've also brought it to every tour I've been on, so it has multiple signatures in it. I know someone who can help me get the traditional Chinese books, but it's really expensive and I can't pay for it right now. Of course I can tell you, it happened a long time ago. So it was my birthday and my grandmother was visiting. Without asking my parents, she decided to give me one of her cats. Now he was a gorgeous cat, he looked a lot like the one in your avatar actually! His name was Smokey. But my grandmother wanted to get rid of her cats, because she was starting to say that they were "natural born killers" (she even wrote that in my birthday card) and that they were killing all the birds in her yard. But whatever, they're cats. It's what they to do to survive! Anyways, he had ear mites and spread them to poor Franklin. One day his ear was all swollen and droopy like a dog's, the poor guy was so itchy! He kept on scratching it, and he got something like a hematoma. When we went to the vet, we found out it was more common in dogs. He had to go in for surgery to fix it, and that is what it looked like when it was over. He had to wear a cone for a while. If we hadn't fixed it though, he might have gone deaf in that ear. His ear was just like normal afterwards, it just looked different, and helped us identify him from other black kitties.

Thats so sad. My cat isint the one in the avatar but when he came to our house he loced the outdoors. My kitten had loved grass nibbling. The vet guessed he had swallowed the worm. Poor little bud had surgery but Link (my cat ) was fine and never wore a cone. Regardless I bought a 1 year dewormer boost and vaccines to make sure he would be fine if he ate another worm.

I definitely envy that you have hardcovers for all of the books, maybe one day... Sorry your book got rained on. I made the mistake of loaning all of my books to my mom to read, telling her, "don't crease the spines"... when I got them back, 20 were creased, so I ended up getting every book over again, so now i have a "reading" copy and a "display" copy for all of them. So did they end up removing most of his ear? At least you saved his hearing. I didn't realize ear mites could be that disasterous. One of mine had them when she was a kitten, but some drops cleared it up. My youngest is missing an eye, but there's no scarring or anything, so I figure she was born that way. Supposedly it can be a side effect of inbreeding, and since she was probably born as a barn cat, the chances of that are likely. In fact, the cat I suspected was her father tried breeding with her when she went into heat for the first time. We got her fixed, then she came inside a few months later, so she never had any kittens.

Turin not Torino Oh my! I can't stand having other people touch my books, I know it's selfish, but they're like my children in a way. Except I don't have to feed them, lol. I used to have most of the books only in paperback, but when I decided it would be fun to get them in hardcover, I gave my paperbacks to my siblings so that they wouldn't have to take my hardcovers, but they could still read the books. I would have kept the paperbacks, but my parents argued I already would have the hardcovers to read for myself, even though they let me also get the new cover versions. When I said I wanted to get the hardcovers, I was able to get them all within one Christmas, and one birthday, and they're within a month apart from each other, so that was cool. Tbh, they didn't remove any of his ear, it just shriveled up that way. And it didn't feel like a normal ear either. You know how normal cat ears are thin and bendy? His was still soft, and he could still hear and move it like a normal ear, but it was always stiff and bumpy post-surgery if you touched it. He coped fine with it though. I miss him terribly.

Darkshine Laufeyson-Barnes When I lent them to her, I had nobody at the time to discuss the books with, so I wanted her to read them so there was someone that knew what I was talking about when I rambled on and on about them. Considering she ships me boxes of her books to read, I felt I was obligated to let her borrow mine. It was once I got them back from her and started replacing the damaged ones that I crossed over to the dark side and started collecting them in other languages. I know you miss him. I can't imagine the roller coaster of emotions you must've gone through when you had to decide to let him go. Hopefully he's doing ok, maybe even found someone to take him in. Cats are smart - he'll do what he has to to survive.

True, like collecting trading cards... at least books aren't luck-based.^^ It's really cool btw that they have merchandise for Warriors in China. I wish they'd sell that stuff (and more) here too. Is that shirt official too or is it custom made?

Lol, I was thinking bad hobbies like going to bars every night, nothing wrong with trading cards, though I imagine that can get expensive trying to find the rare cards... The shirt I designed myself on Zazzle. There are some official shirts in China, but I wanted something that only Warriors fans would understand. I love it when strangers recognize what it is, I've only had people comment twice - once at Hershey Park, and once at the Kentucky State Fair.

Not only expensive but also unhealthy. But yes, trading cards can get expensive... but at least it doesn't hurt anyone! (except the wallet^^) Oh, in that case, nice design you made! I like how it's simple yet clearly Warriors. I understand, I would wear it and see how many people react too. It would be cool to have a shirt with just one Clan symbol on it, only bigger, too I think.

Hey there! Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I'm getting a little desperate here. I noticed that your collection (really cool, by the way!) has Russian Warriors books. I'm trying to get my hands on the Russian field guide or "Into the Wild" for my girlfriend, a huge Warriors fan. But I'm American, and I haven't been able to figure out how to purchase them and be sure to get them from a good source! I saw you answered someone else in a thread about Chinese books back in January. I'd start a new thread, but I just joined and honestly I have no idea how this site works. Do you think you could help me out? Thank you so much for your time!

Not OP, but I found this because I was tagged (I'll allow this post) and I happen to know of a couple of websites you could start from. I'm just not sure how they handle international shipping/currency exchange ozon.rulabirint.ruNow I'm necroposting, but I have a question since you brought up labirint. Have you ever used them before, and if so, did you have any problems? I just tried them for the first time in May, and my books never came, but I am going out of town next week, so I'm waiting to come back to deal with the issue, for fear they would send something while I'm gone.

Do you think you could help me out? Thank you so much for your time! The site for Russian books that I have had the most success with in the past is setbook.us Make sure you use Google to search this, as Google Translate is going to be your best friend. In the search field, search "Erin Khanter", and it pulls up a list of books. Scroll down to one that lists the author as Хантер Эрин, the name should be hyperlinked, and click on it - that pulls up their full inventory of Erin Hunter books. Then hit the translate button, and now you can see in English which book is which. If they don't have what you're looking for (though I know they have all of the guides currently listed, and I recommend starting with one of those as the color artwork is unique), there is a form you can fill out if you find the book on a site that may not ship outside of Russia that they would buy it for you. If you have any more specific questions, you can PM me, I'll help you out any way I can. Good luck!
