Chris wasn't too surprised by her reaction, he put his hands up in front of his face as she grabbed a staff and the cart stopped moving "wait! wait a minute!" he said. "I haven't stole anything from you gave I? Sure I steal stuff, but wouldn't you do the same if that's the only way you can survive??" he asked her. He had done way worse than stealing, but now was not the right time to bring that up. "How about this. Your dad fixes me up, you can keep a close eye on me, and right when i'm healed you'll never see me again. ok?" hoping she agreed.

Dogs were good at sensing their master's emotions, and Bane didn't turn around but started growling too. His hackles were raised. Arabella lowered her staff slightly and narrowed her gaze questioning him, "Who's to say you won't steal from us? Or kill my loved ones?" She asked a bit harsher this time. She was so stupid. She basically gave him the directions to her house so even if she did throw him out, he could only take revenge and hurt them all.
It would be no deal until he can swear on his life that he wouldn't do anything horrible to them. Mainly because she believed God would take his promise on his life into account.

Chris still had his hands up in the air and glanced over at Bane as he started growling "okay, okay... hold on. I promise I won't steal from you and I promise I won't kill one of your loved ones" he said. He probably wasn't going to kill any of them if they did help them and didn't try anything with him. But if things got bad, he would have to defend himself. He only got the title murderer due to his past and 'innocent' towns people who were hired to kill him for the huge price of his capture. "Hey if you don't trust me, you can always turn me into the Armada, I can't run away from them anyways." he said "what do they say? Oh, i'll be one less crook on the streets" he said almost sarcastically. "so please, do we have a deal? I won't try anything" he said.

Arabella was more afraid now than flustered at being lied to. What was he capable of? She didn't really want to know. Part of her though, no matter how much she wanted to keep herself safe, told her not to turn him in. Maybe stealing was the only way he could live. People were driven to do crazy things when they were desperate. Who would she be if she just turned him away? "Okay." She set the staff in a non hostile position, "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I trust your word. Don't let me down."
If he killed her, than yes she would be unable to be disappointed. However, it would be on his conscious that he made the promise and broke it. He would have to live with that the rest of his life. That the people he was cared for by were murdered in cold blood.

"Well that sounds way more interesting than what I have to do everyday" he said, she had forgotten they kill bandits, her childhood friend came up in her head and she quickly shook her head to clear the thought. "How about we get something to eat and you can tell me more about town and yourself?" She said "I'll even pay" she offered. "Okay." Robin said before making his way over to the diner. He holds the door open for her before following her inside. Robin sees a good seat and leads Courtney over to it.

Kyle chuckled and gave up on trying to wake him up. He slowly got up from the couch trying no to wake him up and grabbed a clean blanket from his bedroom and came back with it. He pit the blanket on top of Crowe to keep him warm, he froze when he saw Crowe's sleeping face, he had a strong urge to touch his hair. He shook his head slightly clearing the thought and got up to go to his bed. Crowe woke around halfway into the night and realised what had happened. He tiredly rolled his eyes and stood, carefully folding up the blanket and setting it down. He then silently left the house, closing the door behind him. He began to walk towards the wooded area falling into a jog and then a run, transforming as he ran into his huge wolf form. He shook out his black pelt and slid into the shadows of the forest, enjoying the wind ruffling his fur. He finally came to a halt before a river and bent his head to take a drink, keeping an eye out for any danger. Once he'd finished he turned and walked now instead, towards where he usually stayed; a small clearing in the woods, with a small home in the centre. He slid through the flap on his door and shook himself off, before heaving his bulk onto his own sofa and sprawling out on it. He had to admit he'd enjoyed his day with Kyle; perhaps he was starting to open up to people more after all.

hey i'm back! :3)
Chris slightly relaxed and moved his hands away from his face. He sighed in relief "ok, I won't" he said with a serious look on his face. "Oh, and one more thing" he said with a nervous smile "can you please not tell you father or family who I am?" he asked her. He knew her dad would probably react ten times worse than she had, and he had a feeling her father would either kill him or give him to the Armada.
"thank you" Courtney said as he held the door open for her before following him to a table and she sat down. "have to ever ate here before?" she asked him as they waited for a waiter to come and give them their menus.
Kyle was barley awake when he heard Crowe leave his house. He smiled, he had a fun time with Crowe today and he was glad Crowe was opening up a little, he hoped he would be able to hang out with him tomorrow too. He then dozed off. He woke up the next day with a big yawn. He got ready and walked out the front door of his house, it was a little chilly this morning but he enjoyed it. He watched his pack as everyone was already walking around doing their daily routines.

Arabella didn't look at Chris, she only stared ahead at Bane. He seemed tense too judging by the way he was walking and his fur had not gone back down yet. "If I did tell them, I wouldn't be keeping my end of the deal would I? Just don't get me in trouble and we'll call it good." She wasn't in such a good mood anymore. She didn't think anyone would be after that. He would have been better off lying about who he was. Arabella probably wouldn't have caught on anyway until it was too late.
Her gaze flickered to him every now and then, mainly when they got close to the house. At least she wasn't looking after an ugly criminal, it was a shame he was an outlaw though. He was too handsome to be truly good though, which she supposed made sense.
Bane stopped by the front enterance to the barn. He knew he had to pull the sled back inside after a trio since Arabella normally didn't feel like pushing it inside. She stepped out and grabbed her staff, since she would have to use it in the morning. Bane went straight inside the barn after they stepped out and Arabella went after him to take off his harness. "I suggest you try to stay away from the house once you can put more weight on your foot. My father can catch on quickly to all sorts of acts."

"Couple of times." Robin said picking up the menu. He scans the menu looking at all the delicious food. "See anything you like"? He asked briefly looking up from his menu.

Chris got out of the sled and stood there in a awkward position due to him still not putting any weight on his right leg. He watched Arabella take the harness off Bane "okay I will" he said as he looked around the barn and then around the area. It was a pretty big piece of property they had. He then tried to look where his bag was from where he was, but he couldn't find it anywhere, he glanced back at Arabella "hey, uh, do you know where that bag I had is?" he asked her.

Arabella hung the harness onto a hook by the open, large barn doors. She still felt stupid for not realizing he was obviously running away from something when he jumped off of the roof. No one does that just because they wanted to for fun, unless they were insane. "Your bag? Yes I know where it is. What's so important about it?" If she went and got it for him without thinking then that would have been yet another stupid move. Arabella didn't feel like having a streak in that category and assumed most people wouldn't.

Courtney scanned her menu also "the biscuits and gravy sound good" she said, he had never actually had biscuits and gravy before because her parents always ate fresh meat and vegetables from their own little farm inside the castle. She had always wanted to try it though. "What are you going to get?" She asked him.

Chris looked inpatient "it has some very valuable stuff in it" he said "can I please have it?" he asked her. "I swear there's nothing in there to harm you, you can look in it if you want" he said. He has fruits, jewels, coins, and something in a smaller bag that was for a job. If he gave that item to Lady Jones she would reward him handsomely and keep the Armada off his back for a while.

Arabella stared at Chris for a few moments, with an expressionless appearance. "I'm not afraid it will harm me. I don't want any stolen goods brought into the house. My house." She walked passed him, not bothering to get his bag out. She can do it later or use it as collateral to keep him from doing anything else illegal. Especially under her care. It was bad enough she was an accomplice now, and she didn't need to assist him any more than she already was. Bane stayed out by the barn, since he slept there, and let out a growl when he looked at Chris. Arabella could hear him from where she was.

Chris stared at her "huh? wait.. what if something happens to my bag" he said looking back and forth at his bag and back to Arabella. No only did he have to turn in that one item to Lady Pepper, if he didn't in a month she would send out men to look for him, and he'd wish the Armada had caught him. Now that he realized it, being a bandit was a pretty dangerous life style. He looked over at Bane as he started growling at him. Noticing she was leaving him behind he looked back over at her and started limping "hey! don't leave me!" he complained as he tried his best to catch up to her.

"Probably a sandwich or some venison." Robin said casually. He leaned back deciding to get a chicken sandwich in the end. He ate venison a great deal already. He sets he menu down and places his arms behind his head.

A young waitress came up and took their order, she seemed really nervous and kept on glancing back at Courtney. Courtney just tilted her head slightly in confusion and smiled at the girl. After taking their orders the waitress left and later came back with their food and drinks. Courtney thanked the girl before taking a bite of her food. Her eyes widened in surprise and she took another bite. She smiled "it's so good, I've never had biscuits and gravy before" she said.

Arabella did stop when he called out to her. She wouldn't have left him behind in the first place if he didn't ask for his stupid bag. She first assumed it had his money in it, then she found out who he really was and everything changed. "Nothing is going to happen to your bag. You just won't be seeing it for now." She moved his arm over her shoulders again when he caught up and was utterly disgusted. Though, he face did not reveal that. She just looked like she was thinking about something, and not exactly in a critical way.

Chris frowned at what she had said, but was grateful that she at least stopped for him and helped him walk to her house. He looked down at her, it looked like she was thinking about something, but he decided now would not be the time to make her more upset. He tilted his head a little as he still looked at her, she was pretty cute, and she was a good person, other than trying to beat him with a staff.
Courtney shook her head "never" she said as she took another bite. "My parents never let me eat stuff like this, it's always ham, chicken, turkey, with fresh fruits and vegetables and nothing more. I even had to steal dessert from the chefs in the kitchen when I was younger and I didn't have guards following me around 27/7" she said.

Arabella wanted to turn her face away from his view when she saw him tilt his head, but she figured that would be petty of her and just looked forward. Arabella didn't enjoy people looking at her. Mainly because she didn't enjoy being the center of attention. It only overwhelmed her and made her feel as if she was being pressured.
Arabella had not realized how far they had walked to the house until they had gotten there. It wasn't at all crudely made. Generations of her family had lived there, and as each generation passed, more repairs were done to it. Therefore, the house that stood today, was not the same as the one three hundred years ago. Arabella liked that aspect of it though, it made the house unique. She opened the door with one hand, since her other was on Chris' back to steady him. The door was normally unlocked during the day since her father was normally around the house. It was his children who worked.
"Father!" She called out into the house. She heard the sound of heavy footsteps come down the stairs and soon her father, Nikolai, appear. He was a tall man, a bit taller than Chris, with black hair that had started to gray in some areas. His close cut beard was the same way.
"What is it?" When he saw Chris though he looked at him, perplexed, "Who are you?"

Courtney shrugged "but anyways, what's fun to do here?" she asked him as she was about done with her food. She hadn't had fun in years, the only thing close to 'fun' for her was running away from the guards and seeing how long it took them to find her.
Chris looked at the man standing in front of him, he was a little intimidating since he was taller than him and just the way he looked. He tensed up a little and swallowed hard, trying to calm himself down. He did a warm and friendly smile "hi there, my name's Chris...topgher" he said, not saying his actual name or last name for once. "I was trying to stop a bandit and I hurt myself, your daughter found me and said you could help my leg" he said as he lifted his injured leg up a little. He felt a little bad about lying to him, but what was new when your a bandit, that's one of the best things they could do.

Arabella could only pray her father took his word. Not only because he would throw Chris out, but because he would know that Arabella knew what he was. She would surely be punished for that, and with something that had this much weight, she wouldn't put physical punishment above him. Ever since her mother died, her father had seemed a bit unpredictable in some circumstances.
She saw Nikolai look at Chris up and down. Not suspiciously, but in an analytical way. "I see. And you want me to heal you? You do realize I am not a doctor. I just know things. A lot of things." He said with a very flat tone and a bit of edge. He seemed almost annoyed by the request.

Chris relaxed slightly as Arabella's father thought he was telling the truth. He scratched the back of his head "well we didn't have enough money to see a doctor, and your daughter suggested that you might be able to help" he said "i'm sorry for this so suddenly, but if you can help me, once i'm healed up and can walk properly i'll leave right away" he said.

Nikolai stared at Chris. His gaze unreadable. "Okay." Was all he said to Chris before turning to Arabella. She figured he would say something to her or tell her to do something any minute now. "Lánya, vigyük fel a lépcsőn." He motioned her up the stairs. Arabella nodded to him, and started guiding up the stairs. It was hard though since he was heavier than her. She figured Chris was confused by her father's words, but she didn't feel like explaining to him. Not to the man who lied to her. She just wanted him out of her hair.
Arabella led him over to her room, since the other rooms either belonged to her father or brother, and sat him down on the bed. "Keep talk as minimal as possible around my father. For my sake and your own."

might be a little poofy)
Chris was confused at what Arabella's father had said to be and was a little nervous as she started guiding him up the stairs. As they walked into someone's bedroom he wondered who's bedroom it was. He sat down on the bed and was going to question her on what she said but stayed quiet and nodding, knowing it was for the best "ok" he said. He was hoping she wouldn't leave him alone with her father, one it would be awkward since he didn't know him and at least he had talked with Arabella for a couple of hours, and it could be dangerous if her father figures out who he was. There were a lot of posters of him hanging around town and rumors that he was in town also.

Arabella went over to the door of her room and shut it. Her father could not overhear their conversation. She kept her hand on the doorknob after she closed it, and stared down at her hand. She lowered her voice significantly and was unsure as to whether or not Chris was able to hear her. "Earlier you told me you have to steal. Why?" She slowly turned around to face him. Her eyes did not hold the anger of a grudge, it was more of concern now. Chris could be telling the truth about this. Although, Arabella didn't know why she was finding herself so forgiving.

Chris could hear her voice, but just barley. He shrugged "i'm a world famous bandit, i'm wanted everywhere for a heavy price and people wouldn't give up the chance to get that reward. So I sneak around, there are posters everywhere with my face on it so it's not that hard to tell it's me. I may not be as well known as my good friend Sparky, but i'm close. I've been doing this for years, ever since that incident..." he said trailing off as he remembered his past. He looked back at her "but now you know why I steal and do the stuff I do" he said with a casual shrug.
