"I suppose." Gustpaw moved towards the warrior, looking up at him. "Hi, Cinderscar. We were wondering if you'd want to train with us..? Or maybe go on a patrol? Our mentors are so busy." he spoke. Hickoryfrost nodded in agreement. "Will do." he felt for some large stones on the floor, moving them towards Siltpath. (Sorry for late reply. It's been so awfully busy lately.) Rookpaw followed her brother, her tail lashing with light disdain at the idea of interacting with other cats. Even so, her care for her brother won out, and the black she-cat peered at the older warrior with sharp blue eyes. Cinderscar turned to greet the young apprentices with a friendly purr. The scarred tom flicked his ear as he meowed out. "Oh, you want to train? Sure, I've got free time for you. It's always good to keep your battle skills fresh!" He decided, looking towards the hills outside of camp. "Let's go on out there then, on the hills." Siltpath shuffled into place, feeling the wall with large paws. The young tunneler awaited the first stones from the senior warrior, mewing out excitedly. "Is it true that you're one of the most experienced cats in the clan?"

Gustpaw bowed his head, surprised that the warrior actually accepted. Hickoryfrost pushed the stone to the younger warrior. He shrugged, even though they were in the darkness. "I don't know. Is that what other say?"

Stormpetal wandered around camp, looking for any available cats. The fresh-kill pile was dwindling, and while the gray taby disliked hunting, a Clan dying of starvation was much worse. While death was a bit extreme, she constantly worried.

"You look like you're looking for someone." Thorndash flicked his tail as he noticed Stormpetal padding around camp. The moor-runner tipped his head, his spiky fur fluffing up in the cooling winds. "Did I guess right?"

((Hello everyone! I'm just going to reset all my characters because I have no idea where they were))
Swiftstar stepped out of his den, shaking his pelt in annoyance at the cold air. Leaf-bare seemed like it had come unseasonably early. He frowned and glanced at the dwindling prey heap. Hopefully the prey hadn't already hidden in their burrows.
Frostpetal Groomed in camp, her stomach growing larger every day. Her kits would come soon, and the thought scared her more than she cared to admit. Kits in leaf-bare?
Silverspirit paced near the camp entrance, eager to go hunting
Fawnspots was asleep in her nest
Dustfire was deep in the tunnels with Sunstep. The younger warrior was helping the older tom get accustomed to life without vision. Though Dustfire was getting better, he still had a lot of work to do.
Fireblaze was out hunting
Breezekit rolled around the nursery, bored.

Blacktail sighed as he padded into camp, the deputy carrying a thin rabbit. Prey was already beginning to become scarcer, or perhaps he just couldn’t run as quickly as he used to. He glanced over fondly though, as Cobblepaw bounced excitedly at his side, holding a blackbird.
“Frostpetal.” Rainfeather gave a warm mew of greeting as the permanent Queen placed some feathers before her. “I found some extra, if you would like some for your nest.”

Swiftstar dipped his head at Blacktail as he entered the camp. Bounding over to him he glanced at his catch. "How fares the prey out on the moors?I see someone caught a rather large blackbird" He turned to Cobblepaw as he spoke, giving him a warm smile.
Frostpetal purred. "Thank you Rainfeather" she said appreciatively. "That sounds amazing...though I don't want to take from anyone else."

We may need to increase hunting patrols to manage, or practice curbing our appetites.” Blacktail’s calm tone held a hint of humored heaviness, though it was clear he was happy to let his son explain his achievements. “Yep! I definitely took it by surprise. I popped right out of the tunnel and onto its back!” Cobblepaw boasted, flicking his tail with pride. “Nonsense. We all have plenty to spare for you. After all, you are the one who will be kitting soon.” Rainfeather assured, the older she-cat purring with kindness.

Swiftstar purred at Cobblepaw. "That's fantastic Cobblepaw, keep that up and you'll have your warrior name in no time" He turned back to Blacktail. "Once it snows more we may be able to stock up some freshkill under the snow. The cold might help it stay fresh longer. Until then we'll just have to make due."
Frostpetal flicked her tail tip. "Yes, but I'm no more important than any cat here. I'm pregnant, not queen of the clans." She let out a light purr

(Here is my WindClan debut)
Redshine was pawing the ground in impatience. He had been waiting for a patrol to come by him. He had been hunting all day and he wanted to check the borders before he ate for the evening.

(Mods please do not lock or delete, this page is still being used, we're rebooting it!)
Blacktail padded towards the center of camp, calling out for cats to gather for patrols. It was perfect weather for clan activities, though the pollen was less than kind to the older deputy, who coughed lightly.
Meadowbrook stretched her legs lazily, swiveling her ears towards her deputy. She did not stay long to listen though, instead continuing her quiet conversation with Splashstone and Siltpath. Siltpath waved his tail in good-bye to go join the patrol. Splashstone remained behind, his eyes heavy and tired as they had been often recently.

Cheetahheart got up from where she slept, shaking the sand out of her pelt. When she noticed Blacktail gathering a patrol, she padded over to join.
Dashclaw was trying to clean the dirt out of his paws from his latest tunneling run. His ears were back in annoyance and his pelt itched with the feeling that he'd never be clean again.
Harewhisker idly rolled his eyes when he noticed Dashclaw's plight. His own pelt was filthy, but filth made the tunneler.

Meadowbrook did not fret, instead training all her attention on Brownleaf. "The sun is wonderful. But, you know that I always prefer the coolness of the tunnels. You truly work so hard, you know that?" She praised him with a hint of smooth sympathy.

Especially you.” He added with a drop of modesty.

Lead a patrol to the ShadowClan border. Take Grasslight and Dovestep with you." Blacktail nodded to the moor-runner, appreciating her swift approach to his call. "Father!" Weaselpaw noticed her father picking the dirt from his claws. The tunneling apprentice approached her father and uncle, scoffing lightly at the mud on their fur. "You look like you fell in a mud hole down there. Do you need any help?" She asked.

"Flatterer." Meadowbrook snorted, though a knowing and appreciative look filled her eyes at his praise. There truly was no other cat in Windclan that meant more to her. Starclan be damned, she would make him leader one day soon. Swiftstar's time would come to an end, once everything was set in place. Each life taken tore a rift deeper into the clan, a rift she would use to get the cats she needed in the ranks she needed them in. A clan led by tunnelers, without the need of Starclan's intervention, only her own. She looked at Brownleaf for a long time, the only cat she had room for in her heart. Purring thickly, she invited him. "We could go out for a while, if you would like."

Weaselpaw scoffed after Harewhisker, looking at her father and muttering "Who stepped on his tail today? Whatever. Yeah, I've got you. Hold on." She moved to reach for a spot on his back that she knew he would not be able to reach. She scoffed again. "Did you scrape your back all along the tunnel?"

Cheetahheart chuckled lightly at Grasslight's enuthiasm. With a glance at Dovestep, she started out of the camp.
"I...might have." Dashclaw sighed and flicked his ear, averting his gaze. He still wasn't used to this tunneling thing. When he caught sight of Cheetahheart's patrol heading out of camp, he had to admit, there was an ache in his heart. It had been too long since he had run on the moors and felt the wind in his fur...now all he had was mud in it. "We were working by the RiverClan border." He cleared his throat and looked back at Weaselpaw. "Almost done connecting that tunnel to the one that stretches the back territory...or...the one that crosses the..." Dashclaw flattened his ears. "Actually...I'm not sure what tunnels we were connecting." He got so terribly lost down there. If it weren't for the other tunnelers he wouldn't know where to go.

Grasslight followed the older she-cats, her tail waving with energy as she prepared for a good run. Nothing was better than running during a patrol.
Weaselpaw paused in her grooming, her eyes sharpening slightly as her father spoke, before they softened ever so slightly. While she gave a deadpanned expression, she spoke with an almost knowing voice. "Father, you really are pushing yourself into a mouse hole, huh?...Why do you do tunneling, if you don't really even like it all that much?" She asked bluntly.

She chalked it up to overworking at times.

Cheetahheart led the way up to Lookout Rock and paused. Blacktail didn't specify a border, but she decided to check the ShadowClan border. Though Cedarstar made it clear at the gathering that they would be respecting borders, she wanted to make sure the new leader didn't try anything. Flicking her tail for Dovestep and Grasslight to follow, Cheetahheart started away.
"I certainly don't hate it." Dashclaw flicked his ear. He really needed to work better on hiding his feelings. "My father was a tunneler, one of the greatest tunnelers the Clan had ever seen. I want to honor him." Rabbitdash had never cared for the fact that Dashclaw had chosen to be a moor runner. He remembered when he was a kit how much Rabbitdash had taught them about tunneling, but when Dashclaw chose the other path, Rabbitdash hardly talked to him again. He was never proud of me. Dashclaw sighed quietly. He hadn't even been there when his father died. He looked back at Weaselpaw, smiling softly. "You enjoy tunneling, don't you? Perhaps you could show me what I'm doing wrong?" At least it would give him a chance to spend more time with his kit.

She opened her jaws, exclaiming. "ShadowClan border, eh? I wonder how Cedarstar's faring as leader, being the new one, after all. He looks like he could crush tree branches!" She joked. "Of course I can help you! I'm one of the best tunnelers in the clan, after all." Weaselpaw bragged, confident in her abilities. "If you want to honor old grandpa, then the first thing you have to do is learn how to find the perfect pattern to digging. It's really tedious for you right now, huh?" She guessed.

"He seemed pretty nervous at the gathering too me." Cheetahheart glanced back at Grasslight. "But I guess when it came to retaking ThunderClan for Lightningstar, he really knew what he was doing."
Dashclaw let out a sigh, his lips curling gratefully for Weaselpaw's help. "You have no idea."

"I'd be nervous too. Leader of ShadowClan! I couldn't imagine leading that clan." Grasslight admitted, her fur bristling a bit at the thought before she shook her fur. "At least he seemed in control enough to help Thunderclan get back on track, that is true!"
"Yeah, I can tell." Weaselpaw looked at her father knowingly, before she gave a small snicker. "So. Think of it like this. You know how we have to bury prey to keep it fresh during a hunt? Well, think of it like that, but just for the digging part. Only dig up as much as you need to make the tunnel. You dig too much, you won't smell your rabbit anymore. Bury it too little, and a stupid fox will steal it. And when you want to make the walls stronger, pull up stones like you pull up moss. If you use your claws too much, you'll tear the moss. This case though, you'll just rip up your claws!"

"And having to follow in pawsteps like Northstar's?" Cheeathheart huffed in agreement. "She was a leader! Had been even when I was a kit. I'd hate to be the one to come after her like Cedarstar is. It's good thing he helped us with ThunderClan. He quickly got on good terms with us, ThunderClan, and RiverClan. All he has to worry about is SkyClan challenging his leadership. I certainly would if I were their leader. Fresh meat like Cedarstar certainly isn't as intimidating as Northstar was."
Dashclaw flicked his ear. "I never thought of it that way." He smiled. "I'll certainly try that next time, thank you Weaselpaw."
