K so in the code of the clans, It's revealed that Thunderclan didint hunt in trees while Skyclan was still in the forest. My theory is that if Skyclan was never driven out of the forest. And Birdflight never went to Thunderclan. Then Spottedpelt and Gorseclaw wouldint have given Skyclan blood into Thunderclan. Would then Thunderclan not hunt in trees ? Idk am I crazy ?

Possibly. Also, I wonder how many characters would not exist today if it were not for Birdflight and her kits joining thunderclan.

I wonder if Spottedleaf is related to them. They sort of hinted that in the LeafSE. ThunderClan really should not climb trees though. It's not their skill.

It's possible, but I think it would be difficult for three cats to teach an entire Clan how to hunt in trees...

Really, it was just one cat because the other two were just kits when they joined ThunderClan and that's not that much time to be able to be good enough at a skill to be able to teach another.

Yes but what I imagine they spread Skyclan blood into the clans because they probaly took mates. Lots of cats im Thunderclan have Skyclan blood.

Yes but what I imagine they spread Skyclan blood into the clans because they probaly took mates. Lots of cats im Thunderclan have Skyclan blood. I was mostly referring to teaching a Clan a whole new skill. It seems a bit illogical for just one cat to teach a whole Clan a new skill like that. My best bet is that it was slowly taught to them from Birdflight who most likely taught it to her kits and then it began to spread from there. Yes, most cats do tend to have SkyClan blood, but that's because the majority of mates tend to be from their own Clan and so there would be a greater chance of cats having SkyClan blood in ThunderClan the further you go from that point. I'm not sure if you're trying to say that them having SkyClan blood means they are born with that skill or not because if we look back to that one time when Firestar attempted to teach the cats that skill, a lot of the cats (including those with SkyClan blood) had trouble with it. Having SkyClan blood doesn't grant a cat the ability to hunt in trees and whatnot, that's a skill that must be learned. I think the best example could be with Clear Sky and Thunder. This response got longer than I intended it to be, my apologies. Also, your profile pic looks exactly like a childhood cat of mine omg

He had learned the ways of Skyclan Hunters. While he tried to teach his clan about hunting in trees. They never were able to because Thunderclan cats have soft pads which arent built for climbing. They would try often but they never could master it. I saw this as Foreshadowing in Bramblestar's storm. Hence I was correct. Because Skyclan is joining the clans.
