Azian jumped up to a high tree-branch, the distance of the jump created from the power of her demon. She stood, another arrow drawn as she looked down at the woman. -- Lillian looked around. She was in the white space with her demon, she knew that she was possessed, she could feel it. "Azurine, we can't kill her. She's not a vampire." She protested. "But does it really matter? People die every day." "Because of Vampires and four horsemen of John! She didn't even know what the MDC was!" Lillian countered. Azurine turned and looked at her. "But there are no vampires and FHJ. We're not in our world." "It doesn't matter, release me Azurine." She picked up her bow and drew an arrow into the string. "Fine, but you're no fun. Call on me again soon." -- Lillian felt the arrow release from her hand as she came back, the signs of possession gone. The red hawk flew past the woman to the side by about half a foot. As she dropped down from the tree, stumbling to stay on her feet, the words finally kicked in. "Oh gosh... Not in our world?!" She panicked slightly to herself before remembering she was still in combat. Lillian spun on her feet to see the woman.

Chaotic Vampire jumped to the side with another yelp as the hawk thing met with the ground about a good six inches away from her, raygun still drawn and aimed at the other. "I'm drugged, yep, I'm hallucinating, in Battery City, likely being held in a padded cell with a straitjacket on..." She kept muttering to herself, taking one hand off of her raygun and running it through her messy brown hair. "I'm seriously out of it now, Jesus..." Vampire said, looking towards the other woman with a vicious snarl dragging at her lips. She was jumping to conclusions once more, a thing she often did when freaking out like this. Like most people did, actually.

"Sorry," Lillian called over, the shock drowning out the anger from before. "Put your gun down, I'll put my bow down." She called over again, hoping to calm the situation down so she could get her thoughts together. She clicked her tongue out of habit, no arrow drawn into the string of her bow - yet. (Ahhhhhhhhh short)

Chaotic Vampire, rolling her eyes, reluctantly complying and holstering her raygun. "Alright, uh, fine." Vampire said, eyeing the bow the other woman was holding through her dark sunglasses. While the Zonerunner did look strange, with her black ElectroKat shirt and black pants with lettering spelling 'VAMPIRE' down the left side in red and 'ZONERUNNER' down the right in white, this other woman - Lillian - was dressed rather strangely. Which did deter the thought of her being a part of the BLI, but that didn't stop Vampire. But oh well, if she truly was a part of the BLI, what could she do now? Vampire was dead meat.

Lillian nodded, letting go of the bow as it disintegrated into the air. "So..." She began awkwardly. "I've reason to believe we're not in our own worlds. I know it sounds weird, but Azurine's never lied to me before, so why should she now? Plus, you've never heard of the Mood Demon Company, I've never seen cursed gear like your gun and he's wearing armor and speaks like Shakespeare." She wanted to bang her head against a wall right now. She sounded so freaking stupid.

"You don't know what a Zonerunner is, and I'm pretty sure my raygun isn't cursed. I didn't inherit it from a dusted Drac, I got it straight out of a vending machine." Chaotic Vampire said quizzically, adding to the confusion thick in the air as she set a hand on her hip and let out a long sigh. "And what the hell is this Moon Demon Company? Sounds like a newly formed ragtag group of rebels to me." Vampire remarked, narrowing her eyes and cocking her dark eyebrow at Lillian. "Although, your name mystifies me. Why would a Zonerunner have a normal name like Lillian? Surely if you were a proper rebel you'd take on a fantastical name, modeled after the original Zonerunners, the Fabulous Killjoys, but... sorry, I'm rambling." Vampire said, letting out a small chuckle at her own words. She had a tendency to ramble a bit more than she should, which is a habit she has yet to kick.

"Well, in my world there was a wide-spread virus caused by Seraph of the End, it was a human experimentation, but the details are classified so I don't know much about it. The vampires came out of hiding and the Mood Demon Company was formed to save the remaining humans and kill the vampires. Cursed gear is like the downgraded version of my bow, but it's often used to generalize our weapons. Mine is from the Black Demon Series which is a high level demon that is inside my bow. As for a Zonerunner, I can only guess that it's a smaller organization for something similar, but from the sounds of to, I don't think that's the case. Oh, and I happen to like my name!" Lillian tried to explain in a simplified version.

"Oh, uh, okay..." Chaotic Vampire said, believing more and more that this truly wasn't her world anymore. This wasn't the Zones, this wasn't Battery City, this wasn't Old California in the year 2019. So, she decided to tell her a little bit about her own world. "Well then, uh, I should probably introduce myself then. I'm Chaotic Vampire." Vampire said with an awkward laugh. "I come from a world which is, according to the few reports we have, almost entirely desert, hence the tan skin." Vampire said, verbally gesturing to her arm. "There is a gigantic city, however, a diamond in the rough I suppose, if you hate diamonds, sitting right in the middle of the Zones. Those are areas outside of this city, called Battery City, out rougher and rougher terrain. The company that runs everything, and I do mean everything, it called the Better Living Industries. They have a huge monopoly over the population right now, except for us. The rebels, or we like to call ourselves Zonerunners. Going against the evil minds of BLi since 2012, when the original Zonerunners started to make some noise. The Fabulous Killjoys, as they are called, are the leading force of rebellion against the BLi, and there is a whole lot more to all of those but I certainly won't get into all of that right now."" Vampire said with a cough, her cheeks slightly hurting from talking so much.

sorry for the poof)
"I guess I should introduce myself, as well." Elwrin said. "I'm Elwrin Cerberus, a rider. My world appears to be very different. I'm from the continent of Alagaësia. We are currently in a civil war with a group of rebels and empire sympathisers. Luckily, the rebels have no riders or allies, so we've been able to drive them back relatively easily. The riders are an organisation of dragons, elves, and humans that help keep the peace throughout the land. I have no connection to my world or My dragon, Logandi, so whatever happened, I believe this place is magically warded. none of my magic can go out, nor can any other magic come in."

"I don't see why your magic doesn't work? I mean, I can still call on my demon and my cursed gear works gust fine. I guess it's a bit more complicated than a curse." Lillian sighed after taking in both of their world explanations. "So, that settles it for sure. Different world. Maybe if we try find the people who inhabit this world we might be able to find a way back." She suggested, though she was feeling uncertain as she's seen no others so far.

"Well, I can still use some magic. I just can't see anyone from my world. as for finding others, I've tried to search the area using my mind, but as far as I can tell, there's no one in the immediate vicinity aside from us. There are animals, however, so just let me know if you all are hungry. I can still cast most spells."

"I've got a raygun that works, thank God, so I think I could grab my own food." Chaotic Vampire said in thought, tapping her thigh with her index finger as she gnawed on her lip. "But this environment is so drastically different from mine I don't know..." Vampire shook her head. "We don't have trees or free flowing water back at home! Tommy's got to make us pay, or we have to smuggle it or something along those totally illegal lines." Vampire said with a laugh, brushing a stray strand of fading blue hair out of her eyes.

Lillian sighed, "At least we all have a way to protect ourselves." She continued to listen as the topic change to the subject of food. "I think I saw some buildings in the distance. If any of you want to come with me, I'm going to see if there's any food in them. A lighter would be nice too incase we have to camp out."

"My sword just so happens to be capable of bursting into flames." Elwrin informed them. "All I have to do is say it's name, which means fire in the ancient language. Watch." He drew his sword and held it out in front of him. "brisingr." he said firmly. Immediately, the blade ignited. He shook the sword a little, and the flames went out. "So just let e know if you happen to get cold."

"I suppose I'll accompany you." Elwrin said, sheathing his sword. "There is strength in numbers, I presume. besides, it will allow us to become acquainted with one another. I'm not sure how long we're to be here, but if we are to survive, we must be able to rely on one another.

Lillian listened as Elwrin spoke. "I agree with there being strength in numbers. In JIDA, Japanese Imperial Demon Army, we normally move in groups of five, but the higher ups,, I've heard, have squads with only three people, that's seriously crazy and awesome. Even a lower ranking of the higher ups in JIDA have the strength of 20 men - so I've heard." She spoke in awe of her superiors as she walked along side Elwring on the direction of the town. "And yes, trust is an essential between teams, even if for a short while. If we can't trust eachother with our lives, than one of us might very well be killed."

(I was wondering, should we have opposing characters from our fandoms in the world as well? Like for my fandom, there would be a vampire that was forced to this world from a portal. Elwrin, his rebels and Chaotic would have someone from BLI. It would add quite a bit of drama and the 'bad guys' could end up trying to stop our main characters from going back to our universe or be forced to work with our main characters)

Chaotic Vampire was briefly distracted by some birds in the trees momentarily as the other two conversed, but looked over in time to quickly run over there to the others so she wouldn't be left behind in a world so unlike her own. She kind of tailed behind, though, eyes flitting around everywhere she could see to bask in this planet that reminded of back home, before everything went to pure sh/t.
"Where even is this?" Vampire whispered to herself, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion as she quickly jogged to keep in pace with the others. This was weird, although, she was glad there were no BLi. At least, she thought.

"Nice of you to join us Chaotic." Lillian spoke lightly before turning her attention back toward the growing town. After a brief period of time walking, the forest gave way to asphalt rodes and brick and wood buildings. She looked around and quickly picked out the market, heading toward it with a quickened pace. "Canned foods and powdered foods are ideal. Try not to take fruits as they spoil faster than vegetables. If you find any meat we can preserve it with st or smoke it. Water is also essential." She said, pushing open the door. Instantly, at the chime of a little store bell, her bow was gripped in her hands and she had to remind herself that there was an extreme lack of vampires and four horsemen of John to attract. Lillian shook her head, ruffling her light pink hair before her bow disappeared.

Shawn looked around, his dark, red eyes boring into the area around him. He was in a town, but he had just been with the others, preparing to capture more livestock. An illusion? No, there would be some obstacle, some danger to distract him. He walked down the street, his waist-length white cape swaying in the wind. His elonged ears protruded out of his messy black hair, his sword sheathed in its hold, clutching firmly to the side of his black belt. His thigh-high black boots hugged his white skinny-jeans and made practically no noise as he walked, not knowing that just around the bend of the street he would find three young adults.

(alright, should have figured lmao)
Chaotic Vampire looked around in wonder at all these seemingly abandoned buildings surrounding the three of them. They had entered a shop, and Chaotic had the sudden tendency to grab at everything. Hey, she didn't know when she was ever going to stumble upon these types of items ever again. Well, she might, but for a heavy price.
The market smelled fresh, of vegetables and fruits, freshly watered plants and the overhanging scent of herbs. Vampire looked around here, dragging her finger across one of the fountains that kept them watered and licked it, savoring the heavenly taste of water and not caring a single bit whether or not the others were judging her. "So, if there is no-one here... can we steal stuff?" Vampire asked aloud to the others, eyeing some candy on a shelf a couple feet away from her.

"You do what you have to to survive. And it's not stealing if they're abandoned." Lillian pointed out. It was the way she lived and she never really thought about it as stealing.
She began walking down an isle of boxed foods. She pulled a box of powdered potatoes, the box instructing that only water was needed to make them into mashed potatoes. She grabbed a box of 'high protein walnut-oatmeal bars'. She walked out the end of the idle into a small corner shelved with backpacks, purses and a few pieces of clothes. She knew some stores did this, but normally all of it would be taken or badly damaged. She pulled down a medium-small backpack and tore the top off the box of protein bars and dumped them into the backpack, followed by the tearing of the instant potatoe box and stuffing a handful of packs into it. She zipped the zipper up and slung it over her shoulder, making her way to the drinks section.
She ripped the plastic from a small pack of plastic water bottles and tucked them into her backpack before continuing down the shelf and finding energy drinks. "Elwrin, Chaotic, is it true that one of these cans can energize you for five hours?" She hadn't known about that. She knew about coffe and soda, but there was always a limited amount and she knew most of it went out to the people on the field and there wasn't a lot of it around with nothing new being made after the virus. She pulled three tall cans from the shelf and eight little, two-inch bottles and tucked them into her backpack.

Chaotic Vampire turned her head to look at those things, and the silence hung there for a moment as she tried to remember. "No, I don't think so. Either that or it depends on the person." Vampire said, turned back around with glee as it was okay to steal things here. Walking over to the front of the market and grabbing one of those baskets, she walked around the shop for a little bit, grabbing at things liek vegetables, soups, and other kinds of foods. Strangely, the Zonerunner did not eat fruit.
But as she soon traveled down the cleaning aisle/pet aisle old habits grew up inside of her, and she found herself looking at some actual good looking dog food. Yeah, Power Pup tasted awful, but at least you could actually survive on it. That was if you had some kind of drink, obviously. And it lasts for a good time, so she found herself asking the others, "Would you guys mind if we ate some dog food?" It was a weird question, but Vampire was a weird person. "It's not that bad, I promise." She knew that cat food tasted just bland (due to some dares from her college dorm years), and that some dog food actually tasted okay.

"Why would we eat doggie if we've got access to a bunch of other foods? I mean, sure, it doesn't go bad and it's food, but there's a bunch of other edibles." Lillian was a little confused as to why Chaotic would want to eat that when there was an abundance of food here.
She made her way over to the medicine isle and grabbed a roll of cotton bandages. (Like, the one that you can wrap around, not the little sticky things) She grabbed a small bottle of infection spray as well before looking at bottles of Advil. It stops pain? I wonder if it enhances the curse too... It doesn't say anywhere and I don't want to be drugged.
She walked away from the bottle and found a small section of pocket knives under a glass case. "Azurine, pierce." She summoned the black bow and drew an arrow info it. She released her hold and it cut through the glass, shattering it with the loud clang of glass breaking. She picked out a good looking pocket knife with a black handle and blade. Lillian ran her finger along the edge of it, satisfied as the six inch blade easily drew blood. She snapped it shut and slid that into her pack as well. "Grab a backpack and put what you gathered into it. Remember, don't take anything that can spoil in a week or less."
