I was only joking, dear, I sincerely doubt that you have an oversized ego. Good thing too, since that's simply not becoming. But you are a superior writer, I'll give you that! And a pretty good gamer, I'm assuming.

(Lol, your loyal followers need you! I am sorry you feel so tired, though; that's no fun.) "I would be honored," Celondis answered politely, trying to ignore the giddy feeling bubbling in her chest. Kings always say kind things, she reasoned to herself. She took Velatha's arm again almost reluctantly, but her turn had come and gone, and it was only fair to make way. "We actually met the king," she sighed in satisfaction. Not everyone got to make such a claim during his or her lifetime. Celondis would have sooner stood to stretch out her legs, after all the sitting and riding they had done to get there, but her friend had been kind enough to pull put her chair already, and besides, it promised to be a long evening. "Thank you." She sat and listened eagerly to Velatha's descriptions, laying her thin cane across her knees. Oh, she knew the colors. She hadn't lost her sight until she had been maybe 250 or so. The beggining sketch of a mental image was forming in her head. "Is he handsome, truly?" she couldn't resist asking. "I had always figured he would look rather worn, but with traces of a contented spirit beneath," she mused. "And what about the princess's human prince? Is he here tonight?" She still could hardly believe such a thing had happened, but oh, didn't the love story just warm the heart? Theo smiled while Alwen sipped at his drink, quietly priding himself for his small good deed. He raises and eyebrow at Nori's words. "Blind? I'm surprised any elves could be blind, with all the magic you seem to possess." How very interesting. Not as interesting to him, however, as the prospect of music and dancing was. He was dying to dance with Nori. It had been a dance, after all, when he'd first let himself start to fall for her. "Might I?" He took a drink of Nori's punch without waiting for an answer, then handed it back to her. "Thank yoh, love!" he said, grinning impishly. "What sort of speech does your father mean to give?"

{Finally up}
{So sorry for the salt I'm gonna try to get to this more often} {I'm like really angry atm but I'm gonna reply because I feel bad}
Velatha nodded in agreement, though she couldn't see her, "He's very handsome, and I guess you could say that's what he contains." Velatha could really care less about his 'contented spirit'. All she wanted really was the title and the money, and just the fact that she could be the queen, which she thought she had a good chance of being. She was pretty gorgeous, wasn't she? "Oh, I think he approached them as soon as we left. I personally can't believe the king even allowed to what happen, happened." she said in a rather opinionated tune. Oh yah, and there was that; Velatha hated humans due to something in her family history. The fact that the king had let her daughter be with one let alone let him in the castle? Disgusting.
Nori giggled and flicked his nose, "Somethings we can't fix, like my magic problem." she pointed out as she spoke, though the small blonde was itching to dance to. She wasn't bothered when Theo took a drink of her punch, and continued on as if such didn't happen, "I think he means to give a thank you one and introductory, just something to get everyone started." she said as she reached over to wrap her free arm around his as she stared down at all the elves below, "I really hope that he finds someone he likes." she aid quietly, looking up at Theo. She wanted her father to be happy. Not lonely. Just like she was when she was with Theo.
The King walked to a table at the side with seats for the most important people, and tapped his glass gently. Everyone immediately quieted, "Hello, everyone." he then paused, and then started again, "I wanted to just thank you all for being here. This means very much to me." he continued, though he wasn't very good at speeches, "Dancing will now commence, and I will make my way around. Please wait your turn. Thank you." But as he walked off, girls began to flock, and the King looked around desperately. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea...
Some couples who were there began to dance around the floors, as they were high classed ones invited for the celebration. Once they did so, Nori turned to Theo, and then smiled cheekily, holding out her hand playfully, "Care to dance?" she asked sweetly, though he should be the one asking.

(Oh, sorry! I didn't see that you had posted! I didn't mean to ignore you, I just forgot to check in.) (Anyways. I'm not angry. I have a hard time relating to people with anxiety issues like yours, which is unfortunate and odd, since I probably have a few myself and try to be empathetic, so I feel bad and ashamed that I kept pushing when you needed a break. So I apologize. On a similar note, I also worry that if these forums push you to the point of panic attacks--which, if I remember correctly, has happened more than once before--then maybe it's not such a good idea for you to continue to be here, and that by trying to get you to rp, I'm only encouraging a potentially damaging situation for you, and I certainly don't want to do that. Does that all make sense? I mean, I'd rather not rp and thus contribute to your general wellbeing and sanity--since I'm admittedly high-maintenance, ha ha--than rp and push you to the breaking point over and again.)

(I mean, if you're sure... I just don't want to stress you out again. :/ )
"Velatha," Celondis said, slightly more sharply than she had meant to. "I have never known anyone to regret love in the end. If that is what this is, between the princess and her prince, then everyone is the better for it." She leaned back and smiled slightly. "Certainly you aren't above enjoying an unlikely love story? You, the attendee of the king's ball to find a wife?" The question was a friendly jest and a reminder both. Velatha was many things, and she was proud especially, a trait that normally, Celondis would admire. Here, however, Velatha needed to be reminded of her humility; she was only one woman of many, not old but not young, and in no position to be judging one elf's relationship with one human. Who, after all, would have more reason to hate the humans than Princess Nori herself? If she could forgive and forget, then her subjects could as well.
Celondis tilted her head slightly to listen to the king's awkward speech. "He's nervous..." She laughed then, hearing the rush of skirts and slippered feet, knowing the king was being surrounded. "And overwhelmed," she added. "You will dance, will you not?"
Theo smiled down at Nori and slipped his arm around her shoulders. "If he's even half as happy with one of these ladies as I am with you, he is facing a lifetime of bliss," he promised sweetly. Well, maybe he was laying it on a little thick, but who cared? He still couldn't believe, some days, that his heart could handle so much joy, and Noribwas worth embarrassing himself for. He made a mental note to try to convince the king to drink a bit more of his potioned punch later, the grinned and took Nori's hand to lead her onto the floor. "I thought you would never ask, Princess," he joked. He still wasn't terribly good at elven dances, but he was learning.

(Life happens. I am SO CLOSE to being done with my book! It's so long! But I'm gonna feel super accomplished once I finish. It's over 900 pages. I don't understand how somebody can come up with 900 PAGES worth of story! For multiple books in a series! Writers just sort of awe me. All the time.)
