Well, it took more than a minute (sorry about that), but here we are. xD
Seth woke up the next morning feeling well rested but sore in the way one does after working their body to its limits. After his activities the day before - flying and swimming with Anya, but mostly the pit fights he'd engaged in after dropping her off - he wasn't surprised in the slightest about the soreness. His knuckles were still raw from the beatdowns he'd given, and his ribs were bruised were one lucky bastard had gotten a cheap shot past his ironclad defenses. That particular fight had ended with his opponent unconscious on the ground. So no, the soreness wasn't surprising. What was surprising was the well-rested feeling he had going on. It was only about an hour past dawn, and he'd gotten in rather late. He'd been expecting he would sleep till well past noon and still not want to get up, not that he'd wake up feeling wide awake and restless. But Seth wasn't about to complain. He just shrugged, rolled out of bed, and headed for the gym. He worked out for an hour, then spent time on the archery range, practicing and honing his rapid-fire shots until his growling stomach pulled him away. He showered quickly, ate a breakfast big enough for three people, then finally set out. Seth's feelings regarding Genevieve and her trickery hadn't changed, but he had calmed down enough by now that talking to her about another mission didn't make him see red. He still wasn't thrilled about it, but he doubted that would change for a while, so he figured he better suck it up. He found Genevieve in her office at Headquarters. She was in the middle of a conversation with one of the senior Riders of the Circle when Seth barged in, but he didn't care. He was actually feeling rather smug about it, and he just smirked at them when they glared at him. Then he leaned against the wall and put his hands in his pockets, content to wait right there until they were done.

(Yeah me too. My memory for spoken languages is bad too, so I understand your struggle. But once you use it enough, I'm sure you won't have a problem with it. ^^ )
Maybe, Tori admitted with a small laugh. She would never do anything to Mav. In fact, she doubted she would be able to hurt him even if she tried. And what do you mean by that?
~*
Celia tensed just out of pure instinct. Okay, this was not at all what she had been thinking. There had only ever been two or three times when she had been this close to Lach, and most of those times she had been weak and out of her mind with fever. She was almost a little afraid to look up at his face. While she knew he wasn't doing this to spite her, this was still pushing some kind of boundary. Yet she still struggled with that sense of safety. With him lying next to her, he had created the small space she had been longing for since the got here; the spot she could curl up and hide away in until this nightmare ended.
~*
(Then let's form a plan. I think that'll help us in the long run. Did you have any ideas?)
~*
"So I've noticed," Celia muttered, though her tone was neutral. The boy's need for constant company was becoming more and more apparent as the days went by. He seemed to miss or ignore all of her signs that she wished to be alone unless she was being as obvious as can be. Thankfully, Margrett or Toadsworth was more than happy to take most of his time, but now that she was us and about, she ran into him more in the small house. (Sorry this took so long!) (Lol good. I'm not the only one. XD I don't think it helps that it's so foreign too. Like with Spanish I can remember mostly fine. But yeah, speaking it all the time will definitely be a big help.) Maverick raised his eyebrow slightly, giving her a somewhat sly look. But when she continued, he blinked and shrugged. “Well I realise that over the years since I met you, I have been consuming and murdering more nachos than ever,” he said thoughtfully, right before eating another chip, putting emphasis on the crunch. .-=-.-=-. Lachy did of course notice her tense up, but didn't pay too much attention to it because it was something she always did when he was near her. What he noticed the most though, was the fact that she didn't pull away from him. He somewhat expected her to sit up. To tell him that this was uncomfortable and she wanted to sleep on the floor or something. But she didn't, at least not yet. She was just staying where she was, right next to him. Lach brought his hand up, ever so softly brushing Celia’s hair behind her ear, smiling a little. For once in his life, he was silent. He knew he didn't need to say anything, anything he wanted to say, she already knew. .-=-.-=-. (Yes I agree. Not quite unfortunately, this seems harder to plan than something like the other two rps we have. I kinda had an idea though. Like maybe they could escape somehow and go on the run? Like neither of them have any survival skills, so seeing them try to learn to survive while being hunted, travelling the land sound interesting. Then comes the problem of time though, like Phallon’s parents fretting about her, but we also could do something like “The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe”, where Underland’s time goes alongside Earth's, but if your in Underland and go back to Earth again time doesn't change on Earth. Does that make sense? Or like instead time moves slower, like fortnight in Underland is a day on Earth? I don't know, I just thought of that cause trying to make the story work within the war as we're doing doesn't seem to be working. Do you have any ideas?) .-=-.-=-. Honestly Lach had kinda noticed her hints and nudges that she wanted to be alone, yet it never seemed to really register. He couldn't tell if it was because he didn't notice, or because he didn't actually want to hear that. He just wasn't sure. Tilting his head, Lach blinked, looking ahead. “When you travel, or even when you're just at home, do you have any kind of companionship? Like a pet or something?” he asked curiously, though he didn't really think she did.

(Lol, it's fine! ^^ And are those your doggos in your picture? They're so cute!!!)
Anya had gotten up early that morning, eager to start the day. First, she attended to Corrik as she always did. It was an habit ingrained into her since she was little. Every morning, the animals had to be fed, watered, and turned out to pasture. Cows needed to be milked, and eggs gathered before breakfast. She might not have the whole list of chores to do anymore, but she still enjoyed the quiet hours before dawn with her dragon. It was one of the few times when the two wasn't doing something else. Corrik could feed himself, so the young woman set herself to cleaning out the space he had deemed his own in the dragon stables. Not that there was much reason to, but it gave her something to do. While she worked, she also worked on magic, or, at least, trying to understand the idea of it.
When she had returned from her adventures with Seth yesterday evening, damp and feeling happier than she had since leaving home, she had tried to explain what Seth had told her about magic. Corrik couldn't argue with the information, and even went as far as confirming the analogy the boy had used. He could sense the magic that flowed between them. However, like every dragon, they did not know how to wield it. Dragon magic was sporadic in occurrences and the end results were often unpredictable, as they had been told by their tutor. So Corrik would be no help at all in helping teach her how to harness the trickle of magic extended to her. It didn't mean Anya didn't try to search for it. She was sure that she would be able to feel the change when she finally found the magic in her mind. But, wherever it was hiding, it wasn't found in the time she spent.
When the sun had risen into the sky, it was time for the two to find Alia. Seth's advice came back to her as she and Corrik gathered their things together for the day of training. Maybe she should mention that she wanted to try magic today. Or at the very least, ask about weapons training like Genevieve had asked about the day before. There was still so much that they hadn't even touched, and it felt as if her three weeks in the Circle had not shown any improvement.
(It's okay!)
(It also doesn't help that a lot of the words are heavily dependent on how you pronounce certain words. Otherwise, the meanings will be totally different.)
Well, I needed a partner to help me. My intentions are to kill and eat as many nachos as possible, but there's only so much one person can do, Tori told him. You can't expect me to run this operation all on my own at this point.
~*
It was a bit too much for her, if she were to be honest. But that might have worked more in Lach's favor than anything else. Celia was too overwhelmed, and the small space that she found herself in, wedged between the couch and Lach, brought just enough comfort to let her mind open up for just a moment. "I-I can't sleep," she muttered, still shaking slightly. There was hardly a reaction to the light touch of his fingers across her cheek. That was the least of her concerns at the moment.
~*
(I think the introduction of Lach and Celia kind of stole the show. XD I do like the idea of them hiding and living on the run for a bit. Maybe they try to find refuge in the White Kingdom as well. And, of course, Rico can lean a bit about his parents as well, because you know Ches isn't going to leave them alone.
As for the time thing, I think having it work like Narnia would be best. In the book version of Wonderland, Alice's adventures were just a dream of hers. So I was thinking, depending on how long they stay there, it can either work like Narnia, where one day on Earth is like ten years in Underland or something, or we can have her in a small coma from "falling" down the stairs they were walking towards before entering the portal. Either way works for me, so I don't care which one we go with.)
~*
(I'm glad he asked that question because I've been trying to figure out Sam's origin story. I can't remember if you already made one for her or not. If not, I'll make up something now.)

Mason glanced over at her as he was pulling on his sweat pants. "Sorry, babe, I didn't mean to wake you," he muttered. While he sounded calm, there was a lack of normal humor in his voice. It could have been because of the late hour, but it was mostly a side effect of his subsided anger. He just wasn't back to his old self, and he doubted he would be fine even by morning. "I'm okay. Had three beers and then Finn drove me home. Everything's fine." (Okay!) (Sorry. I’ve been all over the place lately and been terrible about replying) Riley rubbed her eyes slightly and yawned. While she wanted to go back to sleep, she kept herself awake to see Mason. “I wasn’t sleeping well anyway,” she said, shaking her head. She patted the bed beside her, frowning as she heard the lack of humor in his voice. “Do you... want to talk about it?” She asked. She would understand if he didn’t want to talk about it, but still... Maybe talking about it would help him. “I’m here to talk and you know that.” She wouldn’t even try to get him to forgive his parents right away. She just wanted to let him vent if he needed it.

(Im glad! Stuff has just been crazy and the semester hasn’t even started yet so I’m kinda worried about that)
Riley didn’t say anything else for a minute as she watched Mason settle down in bed. When he was down beside her, she shifted closer and rested her head on his chest. “Mace...” she said again. “There’s no reason to be up early tomorrow.” It was Sunday. She didn’t need to work. “Please. If there’s something bothering you, I want to talk. I know you’d do the same for me.” He’d done it plenty of times. Mason was one of the few people that Riley would actually trust to reveal whatever feelings she had inside. He deserved the same. “Please, Mace,” she whispered, reaching up to kiss his cheek.

(Take all the time you need to figure all that stuff out. It's far more important than the Forums. I promise, I won't be mad for that. You're prioritizing correctly. XD)
Mason sighed slightly. It was more or less thanks to the beer he had with Finn that loosened his tongue. Otherwise, he might have tried to be stubborn and refuse to speak on the matter until tomorrow. That, and the fact that Riley by his side always made him feel better. How could he hang on to any kind of anger around her? He never wanted her to receive harsh words, even if it if wasn't directed at her. Especially if it wasn't directed at her. "What's there to say, Riley?" he asked, bitterness tinging his words. "My parents, after twenty-four years, have decided to live the life they should have had since the beginning."

(Ugh and im moving out this semester and need a new job and just wanna scream at everything)
Riley didn’t know if she would make it through to him tonight. Her husband could be stubborn when he wanted to. She hoped she could though. She hated to see him all upset about something, and she wanted him to be in a good place when his next child was born. She was already stressed enough, and she didn’t want to worry about Mason. Maybe it was selfish, but she was also worried about him and wanted him to be happy. She sighed when he spoke and lifted her head so it was on her pillow as she looked at him. “Mason...” she said. She didn’t know how to comfort him, but she hugged him close.

"Exactly," Dallas said with a chuckle. "At least on the road, there's a 50/50 chance that someone will stop and take pity on me." Just as he said that, a truck with it's lights blindingly bright, pulls to a screeching halt on the other side of the road. "That's Mat."
No sooner than the words were spoken, a man jumped out of the truck and strode over to them. The look on his face was hard to read, but at least it was angry like Dallas was sure it would have been had he been alone. "Dallas, are you alright?" he asked in a baritone voice that seemed to have a natural command to him.
~*
"You know me so well," Charles said with genuine fondness in his voice. He would indeed buy her more paint since it was the most sensible thing to do. "I would love to try my hand at painting. If it fails, then you'll have something to burn in the fireplace to keep warm." Alexa wasn't quite sure what to make of the guy that pulled up. He definitely didn't have the friendly aura Dallas had. He was definitely more angry but looked like he was reining it in and putting a smile on his face. Why? Was it because he had to come get Dallas? And was he actually willing to help her? Hopefully. But when he asked if Dallas was alright it made her feel better because it seemed like he was more concerned now. She decided she was going to wait for a moment to see what happened. --- She did know him so well, she doubted there was something about him she didn't know. Amelia laughed and couldn't help but shake her head. "I'm sure it will be great. And besides, why would I throw your first painting away? If anything I can show you how well you've come along."

"I'm fine, Matt," Dallas answered, trying to play his injuries off as if they were nothing. "I'm more worried about Miss Alexa's car here. Think you could get it up and running for her?"
Mathias (I think that was his name XD) turned his attention to the girl beside him. With a skill that came with years of practice, he took her in and gained all the information he needed. She was a human who none of them knew. "I can give it a look," he told her, his voice becoming lighter. Whatever aggravation he had towards Dallas, he knew the girl wasn't part of it. "I don't have a lot of tools, and we should be getting Dallas medical treatment. But I can see what I can do for you. Care to pop open the hood?"

"Or blackmail. Threaten to shame me by showing everyone the horrible monstrosity that I've created unless I do whatever you ask," Charles told her with a laugh. "You might find it'll be very useful to you."

(Thank you. ^^ Has anything gotten better for you?) (Yeah exactly, it's a tonal language, using 5 tones, and one toneless tone. That does make things a little more difficult too.) Maverick laughed slightly, raising his eyebrow at her words. “So you acquired a second agent to help you continue your mission. Interesting. The two of us are going to single handedly rid the world of nachos. Ah I love how smart you are.” he said, looking up as though he was imagining it. He then laughed again, a little louder this time as he shook his head. “How did we even get to this conversation?” .-=-.-=-. Lach could feel the shaking. It may have been slight, but he could pick up on the small things like that in her. At her words. He slowly blinked. “Just try and relax Celia,” he said softly. Though not even a moment later he blinked a couple times, faster now. “Or uh, a-am I too close? Do… do you want me to move?” he asked, moving back just a little in case she said yes. Had he pushed it too far? Did he ruin it already? He shouldn't have moved, she was happy sitting next to him. He hoped she said no, he really did, this was the closest he'd been to her ever, when she was willing and cable to make a choice. Deep down though he felt sure that she would say yes, that she might ask him to move. .-=-.-=-. (I completely agree with that lol. XD And you think it's worth a shot? Cool, and yeah I was thinking the same thing. They'll meet people, see places, even yeah maybe try and take refuge in the white kingdom. And yes definitely more about Rico’s parents, I would love to see that too. Ches would always be following them. XD Actually this may even be able to tie into the ‘weapon’ idea come to think of it?) (Okay well both I can see for sure. Maybe though the Narnia version might work better? Like a day on Earth to ten years in Underland. Cause especially if they're there for years, most of their lives if it comes to that, it'll still be enough to say that they were missing for a few days. I think the coma would work too, but her waking up kinda sounds more like the ending to a book/movie, and if we continue there it'll be needlessly complicated probably…) .-=-.-=-. (I have actually been trying to figure that out too. I only vaguely said something about him finding her, but if you have an idea we can go with that, I'd be happy with that. ^^)

(Yeah, things are starting to right themselves again. Nothing's ever perfect, but they are better. ^^ )
(I've said this before, but I'll say it again: Good luck with that. XD)
Glad to see you're fully on board with this now. It makes things a lot easier, Tori signed, giggling. And you brought it up. So I cannot be blamed for the weirdness that ensued.
~*
"I-it's the nightmares," she muttered, neither confirming or denying if he was in fact too close. It was a such on uncommon thing for her, and she truly didn't know how to feel about it. So she instead focused on the worst of her fears. "T-they were bad before t-this, and I know that they b-be worse now. I-I don't want to see them..." The girl pulled the blanket tighter around her, as if that would help stop the horrid dreams from reaching her. A part of her wished she hadn't spoke, but there was no point in having Lach lay there if she wasn't actually going to sleep. She could get up and let him have the couch again so at least one of them would be able to rest.
~*
(I think it's worth a shot to try out. I think these two deserve a chance to be fleshed out like the others. I'd hate to just forget about them. So lets do that! I think it could be fun.
Narnia time it is then! Honestly, I think that would work the best as well.)

(I was just going to say Celia found her injured and was caring for her, hoping to have her as a companion, but she bonds more with Lach instead. XD)

Yeah I guess nothing is perfect but I'm glad that it's at least better than it was, that's good news. ^^) (Lol thank you I'm going to need it, it's stressful. X3) “Well arguing it won't help, as long as I'm hungry I'm happy to cooperate,” he said, then tilted his head. “It takes two to get to this,” Mav pointed out, but shrugged after. “But you're right. I did start this, it's usually me who does I suppose.” And he was right. Not all the time, but more often than not he was the one who seemed to start all these off conversations. He never minded if course, it always ended up being fun. .-=-.-=-. Lach couldn't help but feel his heart flutter a little, just at the fact that she didn't want him to move after all. Sighing, he leaned back down, bringing his hand up to gently rub her shoulder. “Oh C, I'm sorry. Don't worry about that ay, try to relax,” he said softly, shifting a little closer to her. “You're safe with me, you don't have anything to fear when you're in my arms, you just need to rest.” He took a deep breath, only gently rubbing Celia’s shoulder in an attempt to calm her. .-=-.-=-. (Good, I'm glad you agree there, I don't want them forgotten either, they're pretty unique and interesting characters.. I think they deserve fleshing out. But great! Would you like me to start? I can use their little insider mouse friend whose name escapes me…) (Great! And yeah I thought you might, it kinda makes the most sense.) .-=-.-=-. (Ooh that would certainly be interesting! (I'm so sorry, Dakota! I know how hard that is, and I don't blame you for taking time away for yourself. There's no need to rush a reply. I just hope everything else is going well for you.)
(Yeah, I've got two jobs now, so I'm not spending as much time at my first job that was giving me such a hard time. So things are a lot better.)
(I'm sure you can do it. You'll have a lot of people who will be eager to help you learn. ^^ )
Tori giggled and leaned against him. It's not a bad thing. I like these conversations, she told him, as she had stated many times before. It did her a lot of good to talk about stupid and weird things from time to time, to distract her from the reality of things. If she didn't, she would just worry and stress over things to no end. So weird as a lot of conversations could be, she enjoyed them.
~*
"But what if they attack?" Celia asked. Her fear had been spoken, and now she couldn't keep it to herself. The shift of his body closer to her barely registered. If someone were to barge into the door, neither one of them were in a position to stop them. They would hurt or dead before they had a chance. "Whether awake or asleep, they'll attack. They always do. I don't want to sleep."

"Oh, of course!" She added when he mentioned the hood. "Just a moment." She quickly opened the drivers door, bent down, and grabbed the handle to pop the hood. She knew some things but most likely not enough for this kind of car trouble. --- Amelia couldn't help but laughed and touched his shoulder, "oh, I never considered that but that is a very great suggestion that I just might use."

(I am all ears! What'cha got?) It’s a rough rough draft, so bear with me, but overall a light hearted rp with darker undertones with a fantasy/magic involved/free style type setting. (It would also work if you wanted to do a more sinister/darker theme with some comedic relief, it’s all about your personal preference) Character A (for whatever reason, this can be expounded upon later if you’d like) is hunting down Character B who is truly not a great dude(t) however when Character A finally catches Character B, A realizes that maybe there are bigger fish to fry and the two work together to defeat the real enemy. Character B works as a sort of anti hero and I just saw that quote as the banter that would go on between the two characters. Like I said it’s super rough, but if you’re willing I’m sure we could make something fun for both of us ^^

Matt walked over to the car. The way he had parked, the lights from his truck illuminated the car, but would it be enough to work properly? Bracing his hands on the edge of the hood, he peered in at the inner workings of the engine. "How was it acting before it stopped?" he asked Alexa.

Charles smiled. "Of course, it is. I would do it to myself as well, I'm that bad. But you'll find that out soon enough." "It was working just fine," Alexa answered leaning over to see what he was doing, "but then suddenly it was making a stop and go movement repeatedly and made a sound as well." She hoped that was a good enough explanation because now she was at a total loss. --- Amelia rolled her eyes, "how do you know if you're bad if you've never tried? Besides, I believe you have a great teacher."

"And guilty I may be, but don't give up on me... We will still be thick as thieves."

"Sounds like the fuel pump," Matt muttered. "That or the crank sensor. Both of which will need the car to be brought into a shop to fix. I can have a tow truck out here in the morning and bring it to the shop I work, see if I can't fix the problem. But for right now, it's not going anywhere." With the problem diagnosed, the man closed the hood and turned to the girl. "I'd be more than willing to drive you home or to a motel once I drop Dallas here off. Or do you have someone who can come pick you up?"
~*
"It's for the very reason that I have not tried before that I know I am bad. I have never have a chance to prove my skills, nor have I the chance to work upon and improve them. That, my dear, is why I know I'm bad," Charles defended, giving a playful smirk for his reasoning.

(Ugh, that does not sound like a good time. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.)
Mason didn't turn his head to look at her. Instead, he just stared at the dark ceiling, feeling a small spark of anger rekindle as he thought about his parents again. He tried to push it away, but it was hard. "I guess without kids to care for, there's a lot less stress on them. So why not? Maybe they'll actually work out this time around," he all be spat. Regardless of telling all this to Finn and being given advice to not see things this way, he just couldn't let it go. The pain of growing up without Russel was bad enough. Why did his parents have to add this on top of it? (Sorry. Stuff has been pretty wild here. My classes are definitely not off to a good start) Riley sighed and took his hand gently. She didn’t have to look up at his face to know he was still mad about everything, and she didn’t blame him. “Look... I know that you’ve got to be in pain. I’m not going to even try to imagine your situation with Russel, but maybe this doesn’t have to be all bad? I mean, you can get to know your mom more. You can... have a family. Maybe you guys can all heal over Russel when you’re all together.” She didn’t know if her words would make it better or worse, but she was trying.

(I hope so. Plus with the polar vortex we were knocked back like a week in material so everyone’s rushing to catch up)
Riley looked up at Mason as he shifted, smiling when she found herself in her husband’s arms. She closed her eyes, listening to his breathing. “And I just want you to be happy, Mace. You do so much for me and the twins. You deserve to be treated like a prince,” she said softly.
(Don’t sorry mine are gross)

(Thanks. Temps got like record cold so the whole city kinda just shut down. Plus I learned that I do not like living with roommates so now I’m trying to find housing for next year)
Riley nodded. As much as she wanted to talk to Mason and make sure he was okay... she didn’t want to push this. That would only make him feel worse. “I love you,” she said, resting her head against him and trying to settle back into a comfortable position.
